Stumbled into paradise! Volando Urai Spring Spa & Resort - Jiaoxi

Stumbled into paradise! Volando Urai Spring Spa & Resort - Jiaoxi

Hey everyone, I recently discovered an amazing vacation spot - Volando Urai Spring Spa & Resort - Jiaoxi. My stay here was absolutely fantastic, and I just have to share it with you! 🚗Super convenient transportation The hotel is located in the Jiaoxi downtown area, just a short distance from the highway. It's surrounded by all sorts of restaurants, shops, and entertainment. You can start exploring within a few minutes' walk from the hotel, which is perfect for lazy people like me. 🛏️Rooms: Comfort and style go hand in hand I booked a cypress wood hot spring room, and as soon as I walked in, I was enveloped by the faint scent of cypress, which was so relaxing. The room was spacious and bright, with simple yet stylish decor. The bedding was so soft, it felt like sleeping on a cloud.🛏 The best part was the private hot spring pool in the room. After soaking in it, all the fatigue of the day melted away. The view outside the window was stunning, and I enjoyed the scenery while taking a bath. It was so comfortable that I didn't want to get up. 🍱A feast for the senses I have to praise the hotel's dining! The breakfast was rich and varied, with a wide selection of Chinese and Western dishes. The freshly made omelets were fluffy and tender, and each bite was incredibly satisfying. The seafood platter for dinner was incredibly fresh, with a plate full of crab, shrimp, and shellfish. The ingredients were fresh, and the cooking methods were excellent, bringing out the natural flavors of the seafood. 💆‍♀️A wide range of leisure facilities There are so many leisure facilities here! The indoor hot spring area has a variety of themed pools, including red wine and milk pools, which left my skin feeling smooth. There's also an open-air hot spring surrounded by greenery, making you feel like you're in a forest sanctuary. The children's play area is well-equipped, keeping the little ones entertained while parents can relax. If you like to exercise, the gym is also fully equipped. The service was also very attentive. From check-in at the front desk to room service, the staff were enthusiastic and professional, responding quickly to any requests. My stay at Volando Urai Spring Spa & Resort - Jiaoxi was truly an unforgettable vacation experience. Guys, just go for it!

Onsen spring in winter! But…

Onsen spring in winter! But…

I have enjoyed my stay in Wellspring by Silk in Yilan, Taiwan. However, it is not up to a standard of a luxury stay based on the price that I have paid. The pros are good location and have decent facilities for hotspring, exercise, breakfast and a happy hour at 5pm-630pm. However, there is insufficient space for the happy hour and people has to stand to enjoy. It is also a little underwhelming considering the price paid whereby there is no service to handle our luggages and the outlook seems like a roadside hotel. Thankfully, the room standard is decent. Overall, it is decent but not worth the price I’ve paid.

I received a phone call two weeks ago, telling me that I had been selected for Hang Lung Hotel’s Amateur Master Experience Program last month. Surprised, I quickly shared the good news with my friends. They each took leave and took the train to Jiaoxi on Sunday for a one-stop, two-diner slow travel experience. Although the entrance of the hotel is located on the side of the road, it is like a paradise in the city. The entire building is covered with bamboo, like a huge birdcage, so that after the long journey, we just want to stay inside and rest. After checking in, we took the elevator to the room. This time we stayed in a stream room. As soon as we entered the room, we explored everywhere in the room, looking for anything new. The three-dimensional egg-shaped cabinet on the wall is definitely the most impressive design for us. When we open it, we find a small bar inside, where various snacks and drinks are placed. During dinner time, we went to the HABITAT restaurant on the first floor to enjoy carefully prepared menu-less dishes. The chef combined local ingredients and seasonings to present us exquisite delicacies. I found very special ingredients in several dishes, such as using dried apricots in pork soup, or adding golden dates to guinea fowl, etc., which are not common. In addition, there is a hidden version of the dish served in a Vermicular enamel cast iron pot - cream truffle bomb. It is a dish only for Hang Lung members. Thanks to this amateur project, I was also lucky enough to taste it. After eating and drinking, we walked out of the cage to eat before going back to the room to take a bath and go to bed. We poured hot spring water into the bathtub and enjoyed the healing bath time, sighing comfortably from our mouths. For me, who has not been in a hot spring for many years, I have forgotten how great it feels! Thank you Hang Lung Travel for the JING Slow Travel Experience planned by Jiaoxi, which allowed my friend and I to take a two-day, one-night trip in our busy schedule. We had a great time and look forward to recharging here again next time. P.S. Friends who plan to come can reserve a tour of the gallery in advance, and there will be a dedicated person to explain it.

a lazy 🦥 like me don't really like to wake up early. just for this trip, you would appreciate being early. i was at yilan station checking super famous comic writer Jimmy's park by 6am, then catch my driver about 6:15. Mr. driver isn't the most perfect speaker, but he is absolutely knowledgeable to let you know once you asked. an amazing view when you are on top of the tai ping mountain. do take the yellow train, and visit the small cafe named as “雲海“ - love the location and the scenic view. you won't regret being early! #太平山 #宜蘭

Yilan Yuanshan Natural Attraction - Leigongpi Spring

Although Leigongpi is a small attraction, It takes less than ten minutes to walk around it, It's still worth a visit if you haven't been here before. This is a lake formed by an underground spring, The further you go in, the clearer the water becomes, The pond's ecosystem is also very rich, With various types of fish and plants, Of course, be aware of the small black mosquitoes, I got bitten quite a few times walking around, It's recommended to bring mosquito repellent.
