Introduction
Some information may have been translated by Google Translate
Boracay is a famous tourist destination in the Philippines. Most of the time, the northeast wind blows, which is very suitable for surfing. With beautiful beaches and rich water activities, Boracay always gathers surfing enthusiasts from all over the world. Generally speaking, White Beach and Bulabog Beach are recommended, and Bulabog Beach is a little quieter than White Beach. It is recommended to prepare necessary equipment such as surfboards, surfing clothes, sunscreen, etc. in advance. If you are not fully prepared, you can also rent them on the island. Beginners are best to find a surfing agency with Chinese coaches. While surfing, you can also enjoy the beautiful beaches and sea views of Boracay. Especially at sunset, surfing combined with watching the sunset will give you a unique visual experience.

1. Accommodations Hotels now need to comply with much stricter rules if they want to stay open. Do not forget to check the list of hotels accredited by the Department of Tourism posted on their website. 2. Reservation Slips You need to present the accredited-hotel reservation slips to local officials before you enter the island. Do not forget to print them out! You’ll find designated booths in Kalibo and Caticlan airports. For those coming from Iloilo and Aklan, you’ll also find booths in the Caticlan Jetty Port. 3. Entry Form When you are at the booths, you also need to fill out a Department of Tourism Tourist Arrival Form. You can download the form on their website and accomplish it beforehand to save time. 4. Drop-Off and Pick-Up Points and Schedule To maintain the island’s 19,000 daily carrying capacity, docking time of boats to and from Caticlan island (the jump-off point to Boracay Island) is limited to 6:00 AM to 6:00 PM only. You can then take a boat from the Caticlan Jetty Port to the Cagban or the Tambisaan Port (two ports on Boracay island). Take note of this when booking your flights. Late arrivals and departures are allowed, but you’ll need the approval of the Philippine Coast Guard and the administration of the Caticlan Jetty Port. #maydaytrip #urbanexplorer

Boracay Islands

Boracay is back! Well, it didn’t really leave. It was just closed to visitors for six months in 2018, which sparked countless debates. The good news is, it has been reopened to tourists! There have been some changes and new policies, so we’re publishing a brand new BORACAY TRAVEL GUIDE with sample itinerary to help you plan your trip. If you’ve been to the island prior to closure, this guide can also serve as your short refresher. UNDERSTANDING BORACAY Any conversation about the Philippines as a tourist destination isn’t complete without a mention of Boracay. But locals, especially those working in the tourism industry, can fluently speak and understand Tagalog and English. Currency: Philippine peso (PHP, ₱). PHP100 is around USD 1.90, EUR 1.69, SGD 2.57 (as of May 2019). #urbanexplorer #maydaytrip

Enchanting Boracay ✨

Boracay is overrated. Of course it is. These are few snaps from my 2022 Boracay trip, my first time in the island. What amazed me the first time I stepped out of the boat from the mainland was the crystal clear water as if the boats were magically "afloat". The pristine white sand, the crystal clear water, the sunset, the island in general was enchanting, at least for a first-timer. Boracay is like a progressive city in an island, like it has its own life. It has all the facilities and amenities that even large island provinces in PH does not have, from malls to luxurious hotels, famous international brands, yachts, jetski, activities, clean and aesthetic streets, name it all. Boracay is a mini-paradise - and its night life is legit! Tourism is all time high as this is flocked by tourist, both locals and foreigners. #voyagevibes #traveldudes

Boracay before Christmas

Decided to unwind in Boracay after being in the city for almost 2 years because of the pandemic. I went there at December 19, 2021 - and stayed for 4 days and 3 nights. Many people gathered, as expected, because the requirements for getting there have eased down. I went to different food places together with some friends I met there and these are my suggestions: •Two Seasons Boracay -order four cheese pizza and oyster sisig -a bit pricey but worth it -for lunch, make sure to come earlier like 10am because the line can get really long -location: station 1 •Meze Wrap -order any wraps -location: station 2, main road •Real Coffee -order Kalamansi Muffin and Real Coffee -location: station 2, beachfront There’s more but these 3 are the best for me. #decembertravel #café #boracay

Boracay Island in Philippines

#2023travelwish Boracay is a tourist destination in the Philippines' Western Visayas area, situated 0.8 kilometers off Panay's northwest coast. The island is roughly 7 kilometers long and has a total land area of 10.32 square kilometers. This heaven on earth is surrounded by calm, turquoise blue water and beaches with fine, white sand. It also has a amazing nightlife scene, therefore there’s something to enjoy at any hour of the daytime or nighttime. There is a wide variety of dining options and bars to suit every budget. Transportation is also easy and affordable, making it a great place for your next beach vacation. ✉️I wish to go to 📌Brazil, participate in Rio Carnival 💃🕺the most famous festival and biggest carnival in the world 🌎 in 2023. ❤️🫶 #philippines #boracay #boracayisland #boracaytravel #boracaybeach #beach #beachlife #beachvacation
