Introduction
Some information may have been translated by Google Translate
The sunrise in Tai'an, especially the sunrise on Mount Tai, is a beautiful sight that every tourist cannot miss. When the morning light first appeared, the sky gradually turned white, and the entire Mount Tai seemed to be shrouded in a veil, looking mysterious and solemn. At this time, visitors can witness the magnificent scene of the sun slowly rising from the horizon by climbing to the Jade Emperor Peak, Riguan Peak or Zhanlu Terrace and other viewing spots on Mount Tai. As the sun gradually rises, golden sunlight fills the entire valley. The peaks, cliffs, cliffs and other unique landforms of Mount Tai shine in the morning light, surrounded by clouds and mist, as if you are in a fairyland. Dongping Lake, known as "Little Dongting", has a very charming sunrise view. Dongping Lake has vast waters and is surrounded by undulating mountains. At sunrise, the lake and mountains complement each other beautifully.

Mount Taishan: A Majestic Mountain and Sea

Mount Taishan: A Majestic Mountain and Sea

Feel the grandeur of Mount Taishan, the "Chief of the Five Sacred Mountains," in the cold winter wind. Experience the magnificence of "viewing all the other mountains in a single glance" at the top of the steep and towering Mount Taishan. ❣️ Trip Preparation: Plan Carefully for a Happy New Year 👀 Book Accommodation in Advance 😃 Mount Taishan is a popular tourist destination during the Lunar New Year. We recommend booking accommodation in advance. 💙 Buy Tickets on WeChat 😜 Follow the "Mount Taishan Scenic Area" WeChat official account, go to the "Ticket Reservation" section, and select a suitable route (including a one-way bus ticket). Ticket price reference: An adult ticket plus a one-way bus ticket from Tianping Lake to Zhongtianmen is about ¥150 (subject to change during the Lunar New Year). Tip: We bought tickets for 8:00–12:00. We recommend buying tickets for 7:00–9:00 to avoid the crowds. The entire journey can be divided into two sections: Hongmen–Zhongtianmen–Nantianmen. Zhongtianmen is about 2–2.5 hours into the first half of the journey. The second half is steeper with more stairs and takes 2.5–3 hours. 🧗‍♀️ Climbing Routes: Classic Route: Daizong Archway ➡️ Hongmen Visitor Center (buy tickets to enter the mountain) ➡️ Hongmen Palace ➡️ Wanxian Tower ➡️ Doumu Palace ➡️ Jingshi Valley ➡️ Hutian Pavilion ➡️ Huima Ridge ➡️ Zhongtianmen ➡️ Kuaihuo Three Miles ➡️ Yunbu Bridge ➡️ Wudafu Pine ➡️ Eighteen Bends ➡️ Tianjie ➡️ Bixia Temple ➡️ Cliff Inscriptions ➡️ Chief of the Five Sacred Mountains ➡️ Jade Emperor Peak. Convenient Route: Tianwai Village Visitor Center (buy tickets to enter the mountain) ➡️ Longtan Reservoir ➡️ Bailong Pool ➡️ Heilong Pool ➡️ Bamboo Forest Temple ➡️ Huangxi River Reservoir ➡️ Fanzi Cliff ➡️ Aolai Peak ➡️ Zhongtianmen (take the cable car) ➡️ Nantianmen ➡️ Bixia Temple ➡️ Jade Emperor Peak. Other Notes: Clothing: It is cold in winter, so a windbreaker or thick down jacket is needed to protect against the mountain wind. Choose windproof and lightweight clothing to make climbing easier. Windproof hats, scarves, and gloves are essential. Gloves are very useful when holding onto the mountain or handrails. Wear hiking shoes or sneakers that are lightweight and warm. Bring a hiking stick, which is very useful. You don't need to bring a lot of food and drinks, as carrying a heavy load is tiring. Food is also available on the mountain, although it is a little more expensive. If you are bringing children, you can bring some food.

Mount Tai! —— Homestay Edition

Mount Tai! —— Homestay Edition

Climbing Mount Tai on May 19, 2024 Accommodation: Zhongnan Caiyuanmen Homestay, the closest to Taishan Station Characters: Three companions, one with four years of fitness experience, one with military training experience, and one frail as a willow in the breeze Temperature: 27-33°C in the Taishan area, almost no wind Equipment: Sportswear (shoes, hats, sun-protective clothing), one backpack, two small backpacks, three trekking poles, water, and food Ascent: Hongmen → Zhongtianmen → Nantianmen → Jade Emperor Summit Descent: Jade Emperor Summit → Peach Blossom Source → (bus ride 35 yuan) → Peach Blossom Valley ATTENTION ATTENTION ATTENTION ATTENTION ATTENTION ATTENTION!!! The following are points to note 1. Hongmen, Zhongtianmen, Nantianmen, since there is a road leading up the mountain, the prices at these spots are not too high. However, the goods in between are carried up by porters, so the prices are very high. Planning where to buy water is most important. 2. Heatstroke prevention. Friends who are not used to exercising must bring Huoxiang Zhengqi Liquid, drink plenty of water, and don't wear too much at the start of the climb when the temperature is high at the foot of the mountain to prevent heatstroke. Our team moved slowly up the mountain because someone suffered from heatstroke. I had to carry her for a while, but luckily, Huoxiang Zhengqi Liquid was available at Zhongtianmen, and she felt better three minutes after drinking it. Definitely bring it with you, considering the weather of the trip. 3. There are bad people among the crowd. Do not take other paths, especially at night, as they are dangerous and narrow. Do not take other unsafe routes down, return the same way, or take the cable car (Peach Blossom Source Cable Car). We ended up at the Peach Blossom Source station because someone firmly directed us that way to reach Nantianmen. 4. Trekking poles. Strongly advised for those who are not used to exercising, definitely bring them as the descent is quite steep and they can provide support. 5. Night climb feedback. Those who climb at night say it's especially cold on the mountain, so pay attention to keeping warm. 6. Water. On this day, you just feel thirsty. Friends who usually like to eat meat couldn't eat at all, haha. 7. Nantianmen. There are many delicious foods, the kind from chain stores, like Shanghai Auntie, Mixue Bingcheng, Huangshanghuang, etc. Mixue Bingcheng's prices haven't changed, but the variety is not complete, possibly due to a lack of materials.

A "Lu" Flower (II) - Mount Tai, Shandong

Daishan, Daizong, Daiyue, Dongyue, Taiyue, these names are not unfamiliar to everyone, right? That's right, it is one of the Five Sacred Mountains, known as the "First of the Five Sacred Mountains," "The Most Revered of the Five Sacred Mountains," and "The First Mountain Under Heaven." It is referred to by scholars both in China and abroad as the "Olympus of China." Mount Tai has many titles. Its titles don't end there, there may be more than you think. Mount Tai has inherited 5,000 years of Chinese civilization, symbolizing the prosperity of the nation and the survival of the people. It is the spiritual home of the Chinese nation, a microcosm of Eastern culture, a place of "harmony between heaven and man," and carries rich geographical, historical, and cultural connotations. It was regarded by the ancients as a paradise "directly connected to the throne of the emperor," a sacred mountain worshipped by the people and a place where emperors offered sacrifices. There is a saying, "When Mount Tai is stable, the world is at peace." Looking up, the road ahead stretches to the end. Narrow, steep, swaying, winding. Step onto the road ahead, mountains and rivers, twists and turns, winds and waves, forming ridges and peaks. The greatness of the mountain reveals one's insignificance. The vastness of the mountain makes one feel the fleeting nature of life. Therefore, it is better to have no taboos than to be bored. See the world, see all beings, see yourself. 📌TIPS: 📍Location: Search for Mount Tai in navigation. 💰Tickets: CNY 115/person 💠Cable Car (One Way) Zhongtianmen - Nantianmen CNY 100/person Taohuayu - Nantianmen CNY 100/person 💠Scenic Area Shuttle Bus: Tianwaicun - Zhongtianmen CNY 35/person Taohuayu - Taohuayuan CNY 35/person 🅿️Parking: The parking lot near Mount Tai Scenic Area charges by the hour, as follows: 🌀‌Hongmen Area‌: ‌Hongmen - Ecological Parking Lot‌: Small vehicles CNY 5/hour during the day, CNY 2.5/hour at night, maximum daily charge CNY 40.‌ ‌Hongmen Tourist Center - Underground Parking Lot‌: Small vehicles CNY 2.5/hour, maximum daily charge CNY 40.‌ ‌Hongmen Indoor Parking Lot‌: Small vehicles CNY 2.5/30 minutes, maximum daily charge CNY 40.‌ 🌀‌Tianwaicun Area‌: ‌Tianwaicun Parking Lot‌: Small vehicles CNY 5/hour during the day, CNY 2.5/hour at night, maximum daily charge CNY 40.‌ ‌Mount Tai Scenic Area Tourist Transfer Center Parking Lot‌: Small vehicles CNY 5/hour during the day, CNY 2.5/hour at night, maximum daily charge CNY 40.‌ 🌀‌Taohuayu Area‌: ‌Taohuayu Parking Lot‌: Small vehicles CNY 5/hour during the day, CNY 3/hour at night, maximum daily charge CNY 40.‌ 🌀‌Other Parking Information‌: ‌Tai'an Municipal Government Parking Lot‌: Free ‌Forestry School Playground Parking Lot‌: Free These charges may be adjusted according to actual conditions, it is recommended to check the latest charges when you go. 💟A Few Words: In winter, the biggest fear when climbing is sweating, as wet clothes can cause colds if not changed in time. Tai'an | A spontaneous journey to conquer Mount Tai

Tai'an | A spontaneous journey to conquer Mount Tai

On a whim, I just went for it! Encouraged by someone, I boarded the train to Tai'an with only one thought in my mind—I wanted to be conquered by Mount Tai! (Actually, I was going to conquer it~😜) 🚄 On the evening of March 18th, I bid farewell to the bustling Shanghai and embarked on my journey to Mount Tai. The next morning, as the first rays of sunlight entered Tai'an Station, I was already eager to start my climbing adventure.🌅 Since we planned to rest on the first day, we chose the Ginza Jiayi Hotel on Qingnian Road in the center of Tai'an as our base. Although the hotel's bathroom had a peculiar smell, the surrounding environment was beautiful, which was perfect for a nice stroll and to taste the local cuisine.🏨 Day1⃣ Waking up in the morning, we found that we couldn't check into the hotel yet, so we decided to spend some time at Tianping Lake. The lake was shimmering with sparkling waves, and the scenery was picturesque, making me instantly fall in love with the place, even to the point of considering buying a house here!😂 At noon, we tasted the spicy and affordable Laowei Malatang at the old county yamen.🍲 In the afternoon, we returned to the hotel to rest and recharge. In the evening, we decided to have a good meal to celebrate. However, the Liangji Hotpot Chicken we carefully selected was a huge disappointment. The chicken was not tasty, the sauce was mediocre, and the self-service snacks were even harder to swallow.😣 It seems that the food journey still requires more effort! Day2⃣ In the morning, we packed our bags and set off towards Mount Tai. We chose to start from the Red Gate, a classic route that was crowded but the scenery along the way made us forget the fatigue. I started off full of confidence, but as the mountain path became steeper, I gradually felt overwhelmed.😓 Fortunately, there were various snack stalls along the way, and a ten-yuan melon instantly revived my energy!🍈 When we reached Zhongtianmen, we had a hearty lunch—beef noodles with fried chicken cutlet, delicious and affordable. Afterwards, we continued to climb, our clothes soaked with sweat, but the hiking stick in our hands became my most solid support.🧗‍♀ Finally, we reached the summit! Standing high and overlooking the mountains, at that moment, all the fatigue vanished.🌄 When descending, I had to take the cable car due to a sprained foot, and although I regretted not completing the entire journey, this trip was still very rewarding.🚡 In the evening, back in Tai'an, we tasted the delicious shedding cake, and our hungry stomachs made the food even tastier.🥐 This trip to Mount Tai not only allowed me to appreciate the magnificent natural scenery but also let me experience the meaning of travel. This year I started to really get into traveling, and I hope to explore more beautiful places in the future, experiencing different cultures and customs.🌍
