Some information may have been translated by Google Translate

Hokkaido is an ideal choice for skiing enthusiasts. From December to March of the following year, the unique geographical and climatic conditions here create a high-quality environment for skiing. Hokkaido's mountainous terrain provides a variety of terrains for the site selection of ski resorts, with beginner, intermediate and advanced slopes to meet the needs of skiers of different levels.

Powder snow is a highlight of skiing in Hokkaido. The snow is fine and soft, making the sliding experience particularly comfortable. Sapporo, Furano and other ski resorts are well-known. In these ski resorts, you can enjoy the thrill of speeding and the magnificent snow scenery covered in silver. The mountains in the distance are set off by the white snow. In addition to skiing, you can also experience Japanese hot springs, which are warm and comfortable, and deeply feel the unique charm of Hokkaido in winter.

Hokkaido 3D2N - Lavender, Lavender, and Flower

Looking for a perfect summer escape in Japan, where you can beat the heat and take endless photos in gorgeous lavender fields? Welcome to Hokkaido! ❤️ We traveled from Tokyo, taking shinkansen (thanks to our JR Pass) from Tokyo Station to Hakodate, and then onward to Sapporo. If you're short on time, you might want to consider flying directly into Chitose Airport. The moment we arrived in Hokkaido, we felt an immediate sense of comfort. In the summer, Sapporo's temperature was a pleasant 22-23°C, making it the perfect retreat from the heat. 🗓️Itinerary Scheduling Since we only had a few days in Hokkaido, here’s our itinerary: Day 1: Travel to Sapporo via train. Relax and explore the city at a leisurely pace. Day 2: Spend the day in Furano, where the endless lavender fields will leave you in awe. Visit the famous Furano Lavender Field and the vibrant Shikisai no Oka, known for its beautiful flower gardens. You’ll want your camera ready for this one! Day 3: Start the day with a visit to the Asahi Beer Museum and then indulge your sweet tooth at Shiroi Koibito Park. Afterward, take a trip to the charming coastal town of Otaru before heading back to Tokyo. #japantrip

Japan’s Northern Jewel- Hokkaido

#japantrip #100waysoftravel #outdooradventures #flowerblossom #踏青赏花正当时 #flowerlover #awesomepic Hokkaido 北海道, is the second-largest island of Japan and comprises the largest and northernmost prefecture, making up its own region. The northern Hokkaido area is a popular sightseeing area at Furano, which offers countryside scenery and beautiful flower fields. The area is also famous for its spectacular scenery. Tomita Farm, located in Nakafurano-cho, this farm is one of the largest in the Furano area. The farm features colorful seasonal flower gardens centering on lavender fields. In the "Irodori Field," flowers in seven bright colors paint the gently sloping hills in rainbow colors. In the "Traditional Lavender Field," lavenders cover a slope of about 10,000 square meters. Yoichi Distillery has remained the traditional way of distillation, characteristics of Yoichi Single Malt such as boldness and toasty burnt flavors are unique features of this distillation.

Hokkaido Hakodate Kaiseki Cuisine Michelin One-Star Restaurant Fumotoya!!

Hokkaido Hakodate Kaiseki Cuisine Michelin One-Star Restaurant Fumotoya!!

Made a reservation a month in advance and it was worth the wait~ After viewing the million-dollar night view from Mount Hakodate and the Christmas lights, it was just in time for our reservation. They hold the reservation for 15 minutes only. The service was exceptional, with each customer having a private room. The combination of tatami and chairs was very comfortable. This meal made me realize that Kaiseki cuisine is indeed delicious. It’s just that the Kaiseki at Kaiboro wasn't to my taste~ (The blogger prefers meat over raw fish, so feel free to correct me if I'm wrong~) We ordered two pots of sake. When we arrived and it was cold, we ordered hot Motonoe special pure rice sake. After warming up, we ordered a pot of cold pure rice Daiginjo Kyobo. The staff mentioned that the small sake cups were made of bells. The Daiginjo was truly sweet and delicious. Sake paired with Kaiseki is a perfect match!! Although Hakodate is a bit boring, this meal was really great. Now off to the long-awaited Aomoriya 🍎!!!!

Iyayoriko Shrine

This time, I would like to introduce a recommended place in Sapporo, Hokkaido! This is a shrine located in Hokkaido, and it is very spacious and highly recommended. I visited during the day, but if you go in the autumn, you can see the beautiful autumn leaves, which was wonderful. It is also a very calm shrine, so it was nice to be able to take your time and relax. Please be sure to visit at least once. Cherry on the Cake

#japantrip While Japan is no short of reasons or places that make it the world's most beautiful destination for a holiday (or just about anything for that matter). Those who haven't been to Hokkaido up north are missing the most beautiful parts of this gorgeous country. The north especially during various seasons transforms into something else. You have it witness it yourself. Like with most other prefectures, you will have plenty of options. Yes, this is going to be slightly more expensive than other places. Also I would recommend driving around to get to places, otherwise shared transport. Whatever works for you. Hokkaido is not to be missed! #japantrip #hokkaido #cherryblossom2024 #japan #winter

Solo in Hokkaido, Japan

Location - Situated at the northernmost of Japan which is the second largest island of the country. Attractions - Visited Sapporo(the largest city in Hokkaido) and Matsumae. Everyone is so friendly and comfortable most probably due to their culture and respect mannerism. Food - Definitely go for the fresh seafood such as the uni(sea urchin) of Rishiri and Rebun. Try on the donburi(rice bowl) with fresh uni, ika(squid) and ikura(salmon roe) on top of it for breakfast, gonna love them😄. Not forgetting, Sapporo Ramen is a must to have while in Hokkaido😊. #solotravel #travelwithgeo #travelphotography #travelinspiration #japantravel #hokkaidotravel
