Introduction
Some information may have been translated by Google Translate
Chicago sea fishing is a unique experience of finding natural wildness in a bustling city. This city located on the shore of Lake Michigan, although not close to the sea, has opened up a different world for sea fishing enthusiasts because of its close dependence on the lake. In Chicago, sea fishing is not a simple fishing, but an intimate dialogue with nature. You can choose to chase the fish swimming in the deep waters on a professional sea fishing boat with the ups and downs of the waves; you can also wait for the fish to bite the hook alone at the dock by the lake. Either way, you can feel the tranquility and excitement brought by sea fishing. Lake Michigan in Chicago has clear water and abundant fish resources, especially salmon and trout, which are the favorites of sea fishing enthusiasts. Here, you can not only enjoy the fun of fishing, but also taste the fresh fish you catch yourself, and experience the perfect transformation from the lake to the table. Chicago sea fishing is not only an intimate contact with nature, but also a relaxation and baptism of the soul. In the busy city life, why not take a day off to go on a spontaneous sea fishing trip and let your soul be truly liberated among the beautiful scenery of lakes and mountains.

A TRAIN STORY 🚋 1, 2 or 3 ?

After a few days strolling around the city, I am quite fascinated by the Downtown elevated trains aka the ‘L’ rail system. Seeing it from different perspectives helped me better understand how it shaped the development of buildings and streets with the Loop ! What’s your favorite perspective ? @choosechicagofr #chicagohome #themepark#nationalpark

Wonderful Place to Stay!

I booked Monday night to Friday at this hotel. Contacted them to let them know I’d be arriving Tuesday morning, very early on a red eye from the west coast. I’ve done this many times and never had an issue - in fact, the hotels have always appreciated the notice as it gives them more flexibility (for example, to let another lifetime tit Jim member like me, or any other guest, have a late check out). Not this hotel. They stated I’d need to pay for another night. I explained that I’d already paid for the night before when I wanted to arrive and was just trying to give them a heads up, but they insisted I go for another night (2 nights before my arrival) to get an early morning check in. Spoke to two people - both said the same thing. So I cancelled the reservation and filed a complaint. Then the front desk manager tried to pretend like it was all just a big misunderstanding. I saved the messages with the hotel. So, please. Do yourself a favor and find another hotel, that isn’t unethically trying to get people to pay two nights before they arrive in exchange for an early morning arrival. #themepark#zoo#nationalpark#lakes#beaches

Grant Park: Chicago's Dreamy Oasis

Grant Park: Chicago's Dreamy Oasis

Grant Park: Chicago's Dreamy Oasis When the melody of the Windy City plays on the shores of Lake Michigan, Grant Park is the most moving movement. This urban oasis, located at 337 E. Randolph St, Chicago, IL 60601, exudes its charm from 6:00 am to 11:00 pm. The Buckingham Fountain is undoubtedly the star of the park, like a frozen dream palace, with the Rococo style of 1927 engraved on it. The fountain echoes Lake Michigan, and the seahorses represent the surrounding states, not only a clever architectural design but also a blend of history, culture, and geography. Standing by the fountain, watching the water dance in the sunlight, you can almost hear the whispers of time, telling the past and present of Chicago. The North Rose Garden is like a colorful oil painting, with the Fisher Boy and Crane Girl fountains as the finishing touches. Roses bloom wildly, red as fire, pink as clouds, white as snow, weaving into a sea of flowers. Butterflies dance and bees buzz among the flowers, creating a vibrant scene. The South Rose Garden echoes with its unique tranquil beauty, with the Dove Girl and Turtle Boy accompanying the roses, as if guarding this fragrant land. In addition to the natural beauty, the Chicago Cultural Center is hidden in the park, like a cultural treasure waiting to be discovered. Here, art exhibitions and cultural events are held continuously, allowing visitors to enjoy the beauty of nature while bathing in the light of culture. In Grant Park, you can lie on the lawn, look up at the blue sky, and let your thoughts drift with the wind; you can jog along the lake, getting close to the fresh air and the lake's scenery; you can wander through the garden, capturing every beautiful moment with your camera. This is the soul of Chicago, with every inch of land filled with stories and every view exuding a unique attraction, drawing visitors from all over the world to embark on an unforgettable dreamy journey.

Time to learn planets!

You can find more fact-heavy exhibitions about the history of telescopy and the origins of the universe in Adler Planetarium. Projected shows are the cornerstone of any planetarium, and the Adler has a big choice, showing the sky above Chicago with light pollution filtered out, and sparkling presentations about the mysterious Planet Nine and nebulae. There are also free live events, like a viewing of Mars in July 2018, when the planet was at Opposition. #urbanexplorer #themeparks#nationalpark#lakes#beaches#infinitypool

Learning Egyptian times

While you’re down at the Robie House, head to this awesome museum at the University of Chicago’s Oriental Institute. Opened with funding from John D. Rockefeller Jr., the ivy-clad museum is a treasure chest of ancient artefacts discovered during digs in Turkey, Israel, Egypt, Iran, Iraq and Syria. A couple of the most remarkable exhibits are an imposing statue of King Tutankhamen and a giant human-headed winged bull from the Assyrian city of Khorsabad. From around the same period there’s a set of ornate Luristan Bronzes produced in western Iran in the early Iron Age, and a stunning array of paper-thin ivories carved in the ancient city of Tel Megiddo, now northern Israel. Like so many places on this list, the museum is free, but does encourage donations. #urbanexplorer #themeparks#nationalpark#lakes#beaches#infinitypool

Looking for a good laugh?

An absurd amount of comic talent has come out of Chicago over the last 60 years, and one of the reasons for that is Second City. This fabled comedy club and improv company on Wells Street counts Steve Carell, Billy Murray, Tina Fey, Amy Poehler, Stephen Colbert, Dan Aykroyd, John Belushi and John Candy among its alumni. There are three stages at Second City, “Mainstage” and “e.t.c. Stage” for sketch comedy and improv acts, and the UP Comedy Club for stand-up. Chances are you’ll get see a future TV or film star honing their comedic powers here. #themeparks#nationalpark#lakes#beaches#infinitypool

Shedd Aquarium 🐋✨

This is a very cool aquarium. The building itself is very beautiful. A great variety of sealife, fish, reptiles, amphibians in nice settings. The keepers and staff are friendly and informative. 👍🏻 There are lots of interactive exhibits enjoyable for any age group. They have a very large assortment of aquatic life and we were very pleased to see that their enclosures were well suited and maintained. Exploring the entire place took about 3 hours to see everything. The gift shop was a large one with many options and the cafeteria had so many options. I got a chicken sandwich and it was very good. 😋 I highly recommend this museum, it has all the good stuff you'd expect from a high quality museum. #wheretogo #bestplace #bestview #awesomepic #mytripvlog #celebratewithtrip #best_trip_by_trip #bestplace #recommended #besttimeever #bestdeal #awesometrip #tripcom

Rich History, but is it worth the Stay?

Congress Hotel stood out when I was looking for a hotel to stay in Chicago, mainly due to it’s strategic location, rich history, and yes, very appealing photos! Let me give you a summary of my 7-day experience :) PROs: - strategic location, very much central to walk over the tourist spots, train / bus stations, and just across the Buckingham fountain and Grant Park! - spacious room and clean CONs: - my room 872 is just beside the fire exit and there are days when people keep on using the exit and definitely not being gentle with the door. At first it was bearable, but the last 3 days of my stay was horrible! - i booked a room that supposed to have coffee maker (being a coffee lover) but they didn’t provide. I reported it to the reception twice, they addressed my other concerns but NOT this! - the place is abit run down, the air-condition / heater wasn’t working properly. It was really hot at one point that the hotel maintenance guy had to let the window open using the menu so the cool air will come inside my room (i stayed here last winter btw) 😅 Whilst the hotel's historical significance may be appealing, it's important to note the current situation. So, if you're looking for a truly memorable and comfortable stay, it may be worth considering other options. Goodluck! xoxo 💋 #freehotelstay #honesthotelreview #wheninchicago #congressplazahotelchicago #iamtravelaine❣️

Who loves music?

As one of America’s “Big Five”, the Chicago Symphony Orchestra is among the most prestigious classical ensembles on the planet. You can see them at the Symphony Center, a National Historic Landmark on South Michigan Avenue. This venue is a complex made up of the Grainger Ballroom, Buntrock Hall and the 2,522-seater Orchestra Hall. On the frieze above the facade’s arches windows you’ll read the names “Bach, Mozart, Beethoven, Schubert and Wagner”. By 2018 Riccardo Muti had been the conductor for eight years. Prices start at $30, and the 2018-19 season included Mahler 3, Verdi’s Aida, Mozart’s Requiem, Tchaikovsky’s 6, and performances by some of the world’s top soloists and guest conductors. #urbanexplorer #themeparks#nationalpark#lakes#beaches#infinitypool

Chicago, Illinois

Surprisingly a great city for a walker. I’d go to Cloud Gate early and beat the people for some photos. From there you can go to Navy Pier, when I was there people started arriving at almost exactly 10am but so did heavy fog. Everything was closed too but if you are looking to enjoy your self without people that’s the time to do it. The river walk was lovely too! Any time seems to be ok it wasn’t too crowded and if you are taking pictures the people probably aren’t where you are looking then. If you haven’t been to a big city before, like me at the time, the city will probably be intimidating but once you start to recognize things you will be good. Us a land mark to mark an important place like the subway so you can find it and know how to get home #chicago #illinois #walk

[Riverside Hotel, My Secret Getaway]

[Riverside Hotel, My Secret Getaway]

🌟Hey babes, today I'm going to reveal my latest favorite - Riverside Hotel! 💖 This is not just a regular stay, but a luxurious journey of self-discovery. 👣 🌈As soon as you step into the hotel lobby, you're embraced by the warm lights, as if you've passed through the hustle and bustle of the city and landed in a tranquil haven. 💫 The art installation in the center of the lobby seems to tell a different story with every turn, making you slow down and appreciate it. 🖼️ 🛏️The room? It's like a princess dream come true! Open the door, and a huge king-size bed greets you. The sheets are as smooth as silk, and the moment you lie down, all your fatigue disappears. 😴 The bedside lamp emits a soft light, perfect for reading or scrolling through your phone at night. 📚 🛁What I love most is the huge bathtub facing the flowing river outside the window. A bath with a cup of the hotel's special lavender tea is the ultimate indulgence! 🛁🌿 The occasional boatman's song and the gentle sound of the water outside the window make the perfect lullaby. 🎵 🍽️When it comes to food, the Riverside Hotel's restaurant is a foodie's paradise! Breakfast is a buffet, with everything from freshly baked bread to made-to-order omelets, each bite is a treat for the taste buds. 🍳🍞 For dinner, I recommend their river fish dishes. The fish is tender, and with the special sauce, each bite is the best interpretation of "fresh." 🐟🌶️ 🚶‍♀️A walk? Of course! The hotel's private riverside trail is a must-visit for me every day. In the morning, jogging along the riverbank and breathing in the fresh, misty air is invigorating. 🏃‍♀️ In the evening, the sunset on the river is mesmerizing. 🌅 🎨And, the hotel often hosts small art exhibitions and craft markets. I found several unique souvenirs, and every time I see them, I'm reminded of that leisurely time. 🛍️🖌️ 💌Overall, the Riverside Hotel is not just a place to stay, but a secret garden where you can completely relax and find inner peace. 🌸 Whether it's a romantic getaway, a trip with friends, or a solo retreat, this place offers the perfect experience. 👭💑 👋That's all for today's sharing! If you want to experience this tranquility and beauty, remember to book in advance, because good places are always in high demand! 😉
