Introduction
Some information may have been translated by Google Translate

Siem Reap, world-famous for Angkor Wat, invites you to step into a mysterious pottery class, explore the treasures of Khmer pottery in the afterglow of history, and start a cultural tracing at your fingertips.

Class content is elegant: Classes usually start at 3 hours and focus on traditional Khmer pottery. Using local clay, hand-molding and carving Angkor architectural patterns, the works exude an ancient and mysterious atmosphere and tell a thousand-year story. Students personally create multiple pieces of Siem Reap-style pottery in one class, and take the works away after graduation to continue their artistic sentiments.

Small class size and strong teacher background: The class size is small, which makes it easier for teachers to focus on guidance. Students exchange their experiences of exploring Angkor, and the atmosphere is harmonious, which inspires creative inspiration. Most of the potters who teach the class are inherited from their families and are well versed in Khmer pottery techniques. They will tell the history while making, and will provide detailed guidance throughout the process to ensure that students can accurately restore traditional crafts.

Flexible courses,Suitable facilities and equipment: The course time is flexibly arranged to adapt to the tourists' itinerary. The venue is usually close to the ancient monuments, and the open-air workshops are integrated into nature, accompanied by the Angkor legend, adding a magical color to the pottery creation. The pottery tools are primitive and simple, and everyone has his own production table. The wood kiln follows the ancient regulations, and the firing is slow but gives a unique texture. There are also electric kilns available, which balance the timeliness and are more efficient. Generally, the pottery can be taken away the next day.

Siem Reap is famous for its long tradition of handicrafts. Not only is it home to Angkor Wat, it is also one of the birthplaces of ancient pottery techniques. Experience a pottery course in Siem Reap and you will experience the true beauty of Cambodian art and make local pottery with your own hands.

Tombraiding at the Angkor Wat 🛕

Tombraiding at the Angkor Wat 🛕

We chose the 7 day pass to the Angkor Wat, even though everyone suggested the 3 day pass would be sufficient. Do I regret it? Absolutely not. The Angkor Wat is the largest religious complex in the world and has over 1000 thousand buildings on a site of 162.6 hectares. So 7 days, to us, seemed necessary if we wanted to really explore and take it all in. Below are some suggestions. Do: ✅️ ✅️ Book on their official site before you arrive at the gate. You can take a screenshot of your ticket with picture and QR code. This will make it easier to show the guards at the complex entrances. ✅️Rent a bicycle and cycle from complex to complex. You can find bicycles to hire on the left-hand side of the road, just after you enter the main entrance. Google "Angkor Wat bicycle rental" to find the exact location on Google Maps. ✅️Take lots of water and snacks, and don't forget the sunscreen, hats, and bug spray. Dress in loose cool clothes, with comfortable shoes, and be prepared to scale some steep temple steps. Don't:❌️ ❌️ Travel in April, May, or June. It's just too hot. We were there for a month mid-May - mid-June, and the heat was unbearable at times. ❌️ Eat food that isn't thoroughly cooked. I had a medium-rare steak and learned this lesson very quickly. ❌️ Play with the monkeys, or walk close to them with anything that looks like food. They will take it from you. They grabbed our water and made a run for it🤣 Safe Travels! Explore and enjoy! 📸🎉#cambodiatrip #siemreap #siemreaptrip #angkorwat

Horseback Riding

One of the best things we did in Siem Reap is Horseback Riding. It was our first time, so we are nervous and feels intense about it. The tour guides were so helpful, chill, and supportive and they are also well trained in taking care or the horses. We tour the city of Siem Reap for 1 hour and it was all worth it. We had a meaning conversation with the tour guide, it helps us calm while riding the horse. It was an unforgettable experience as a couple and Happy Ranch Horse Farm made it possible. Another check in our bucket list. #FilipinoInSiemReap #HorseBackRiding #SiemReapTrip #CoupleGoals #urbanexplorer #awesomepic # #mytripvlog#couplestrip

Cambodia, an ancient civilization with a rich history. Cambodia is an ancient civilization with a long history, having established a unified kingdom as early as the 1st century AD. [Angkor Wat]Angkor Wat is located in Siem Reap Province, Cambodia, about 240 kilometers from the capital Phnom Penh. It is a symbol of the Cambodian nation and is known as one of the four wonders of the East. The existing Angkor Wat mainly includes the Angkor Thom (Great Angkor) and the Angkor Wat (Little Angkor). There are more than 600 existing Angkor Wat sites, scattered in the forest covering an area of 45 square kilometers. The Great Angkor and the Little Angkor are its main components, with many exquisite Buddhist pagodas and numerous stone carvings, which are spectacular. These Buddhist pagodas are all built with huge stones, some of which weigh more than 8 tons. The pagodas are carved with various forms of statues, some of which are several meters high and vividly lifelike. In 1992, the World Heritage Committee of UNESCO listed the entire Angkor site as a world cultural heritage. [Royal Palace of Phnom Penh]The Royal Palace of Phnom Penh, also known as the Grand Palace of Four Arms Bay, is named after its location at the confluence of the Upper Mekong River, Tonle Sap River, Lower Mekong River and Bassac River. It was built by King Norodom from 1866 to 1870. The palace is rectangular, 435 meters long and 402 meters wide, with outer walls. The architecture of the palace has Khmer traditional style and religious color. The palaces all have spires, representing prosperity. The palace buildings are painted in yellow and white, with yellow representing Buddhism and white representing Brahmanism. The palace was originally made of wood, but was later rebuilt with cement structure while maintaining its original appearance. [Tashan]Tashan, also known as Tazai Mountain, has a small mountain body and is the birthplace of Phnom Penh. According to legend, a woman named "Ben" in ancient times drifted here due to a flood and found a Buddha statue, which was enshrined on a small hill. Later, a temple was built here, and believers and pilgrims came in droves, gradually developing into a prosperous town, named "Bainangben", meaning "Lady Ben's Mountain", which was translated by local overseas Chinese as "Phnom Penh". Tashan is about 100 meters high, with a statue of Lady Ben on the top of the tower, and incense burning all day long, making it one of the symbols of Phnom Penh.

Climbing the tower of Angkor Wat

#bucketlistreboot Over a million tourists visit Angkor Wat annually, the largest temple complex ever built. The view from the top is the crown jewel of this world of wonder. In the past only elite priests had access to the central tower and courtyard traditionally called Bakan, which held the main shrine of Vishnu and Buddha through the old steep narrow stairs using the help of both hands. Now the present, the complex had built wooden stairs with railings on both sides, one way up, one way down for the safety of tourists no more using the old stairs. The view from the top is marvelous looking downward on the land and complex. The only advice did not rush during the climb, be careful.

Magnificent Angkor Wat

Magnificent Angkor Wat

City: Sien Reap, Cambodia 🇰🇭 Region: southeast Asia 🌞 Visa: yes- most passport holders need a visa to visit Cambodia. You can apply for it online and a tourist one will allow you to stay 30 days there. Transport: it’s easiest to prebook a car or tuk tuk to take you to the different ruins - they can be far apart and totally not walkable. What’s special ✨: you immediately feel the historical colour when you get there. Whether you have religious faiths or not, you feel in awe to the grand energy there, not to mention all places are great photos spots there! #angkorwat #Cambodia #ruins #Culture #asia

Angkor Wat

Visiting Angkor Wat was an unforgettable experience. I was deeply impressed by the intricate details of the grand architecture and the complex inscriptions that adorned the temple. My tour started early in the morning to catch the sunrise behind the temple, which added a special charm to the scene. She explored other temples in the area, such as Bayon, famous for its giant faces. The trip was filled with history and culture as I learned about the Khmer civilization and its influence. Moving between temples through dense trees was fun, and I discovered the unique charm of each temple. Angkor Wat is truly one of the world's wonders worth visiting.
