Husky Sleigh Ride @Rovaniemi
Visiting Lapland of Rovaniemi in Finland will not be completed without a husky ride. I spent my first three nights in Artic City Hotel in Rovaniemi for my Finland trip. The location of this hotel is very strategic, in the city center. Surrounding by malls and shopping centers, pubs and restaurants, supermarket, Asian groceries shop, Asian restaurants, and Mac Donald's. So, it is easy for me to get my local sim card and some alcohol from here. The lobby hotel is very comfy and pleasant; there are two big lounges in the lobby area with free fresh cool water. The room I got is pretty basic and small. I love the breakfast here, the selection is very nice, from toast bread to bakery, fresh yogurt, and fresh fruit. Breakfast absolutely great. It's right next to Santa Claus Village, the most convenient glass igloo to get to. 🎅Santa's Igloos Arctic Circle is located in Rovaniemi, just a few minutes' walk from Santa Claus Village. The glass igloo is very well designed, with an enclosed bathroom and an open glass igloo at the front, offering a wide view of the starry sky and scenery. The room has air conditioning, so you don't have to worry about the cold. We only stayed for one night and saw the aurora. The hotel will give you a phone when you check in, and if there is an aurora at night, they will send you a message to let you know. It's very thoughtful. The aurora at night is so beautiful. Experience the Northern Lights in Rovaniemi, Finland! BBQ Event! Red Laser Lights Up the Sky!
This time, I visited Lapland Rovaniemi in Finland to experience my first Northern Lights tour! The meeting point was in front of a place called 'Nordic Unique Travel' in the city center of Rovaniemi. This experience included setting up a tent in a desolate area, where we had a BBQ while waiting for the Northern Lights! My friends and I wore cold-weather protective clothing and waited outside for the Northern Lights. Although the waiting process was tough, we finally saw the red Northern Lights, and the sky was filled with stars! It was incredibly beautiful! Joining this Northern Lights tour was one of the most unforgettable experiences of my life. Being able to see the Northern Lights in the icy wilderness, while BBQing and staying warm in a tent, was simply a perfect experience!4

Rovaniemi is also become the base for tourist to visit the attraction around Lapland, same like what I did. If you are visiting Santa Clause village, reindeer ride and Snowmobile ride, mostly people use Rovaniemi as the base to stay. The northern light also can be seen from the city area, however usually it was only during the powerful solar storms. Rovaniemi prominent landmarks are the Jatkankynttila bridge, Arktikum Science Museum, and the Rovaniemi City Hall. #eurotrip4

It was like living in the ages when i still belived that Santa Claus is real. One of the moments that are not real in a good way.
