🚗 I recently took my family and kids on a self-driving trip to Jingdezhen. After carefully selecting from many hotels, I finally chose the Mehood Lestie Hotel (Jingdezhen China Ceramic Museum). It was an amazing experience, and I must share it with you all. 😜 ✨[Room Experience] I really liked the overall decor style of the room. 💕 It was very clean. The room was equipped with 7 bath products, so I didn't need to bring my own. It was super convenient. 😃 The bed was also very comfortable, and I slept soundly through the night. The room was also very soundproof, so I wasn't disturbed by any outside noise. The room also had a smart toilet, and all the facilities and equipment were complete. It felt like there was more than at home. 🤩 ✨[Dining Experience] I was really surprised by the breakfast on the second day. 😋 There was freshly ground coffee, and I could make cappuccinos and lattes. I felt refreshed in the morning. The breakfast was also delicious. Jingdezhen—the China Ceramic Museum is amazing

Although opinions on this travel destination vary online, I still think Jingdezhen is worth a visit. We checked in very slowly at Jingdezhen's kiln factories, Taoxi River, and several museums. 🌊 All these photos are from the Imperial Kiln Museum. Quiet, mysterious, stunning, and broken are the first impressions. After nightfall, we experienced the museum when it was empty, with only the crisp sound of the camera shutter and soft footsteps, leaving everything else to the eyes. We wanted to see the Imperial Kiln under the blue sky, so we came back the next morning. This time we walked into the alleys to feel the ancient kiln ruins; we climbed the high walls to see the groups of green tiles. • 🖍️ In 2020, this place was rated the second most beautiful museum in the world, and in 2021, it won the architecture Oscar award. 🖍️ The exhibition hall uses the arch shape of the kiln as a design element, and also has the smooth streamline of porcelain. Eight double-curved arch structures are connected in a scattered way, which is amazing both from a distance and up close. 🖍️ As a former royal kiln factory, the quality control here can be described as one in ten thousand, so if it doesn't meet the standard, it's directly smashed in the Imperial Kiln and buried deep underground. 🖍️ Therefore, the design concept of 'Imperial Broken Pieces' is ingenious. Most of the exhibits are related to fragments, and the traces of restoration give them a unique beauty of being broken. • 📌Tips: 1. Open 24 hours but generally until 9 PM 2. Book in advance for free 3. The light is the softest before 9 AM and after 4 PM 4. The alleys around, Pengjia Shangnong, are transformed from old kiln workers' dormitories and are worth exploring. There’s said to be a history of over 2,000 years of porcelain making in Jingdezhen, a city renowned as playing an important role in Chinese porcelain production. If you’re visiting Jingdezhen, definitely make a stop at these stunning Porcelain Palaces. Comprised of three circular and one square “tulou”, these architectural structures are covered - literally floor to ceiling - in ceramics of all shapes, colours, sizes and patterns. Strolling through those ceramic-clad walls, I was struck by the sheer beauty and craftsmanship of it all.
