Carrying the rhythm of Japan for thousands of years: Kimono, as a representative of traditional Japanese clothing, its history can be traced back thousands of years, witnessing the changes and development of Japanese society. From the simple elegance of the Nara period to the gorgeous complexity of the Edo period, different periods have different styles, all incorporating unique aesthetics.

The perfect combination of clothing and scenery: Whether it is the ancient Kyoto, the leisurely Nara, or the magnificent Mount Fuji, they all provide an excellent stage for kimono. In other tourist cities such as Tokyo and Osaka, kimonos are also highly compatible with local landscapes. You can find many professional kimono rental shops and makeup service businesses in the streets and alleys of Japan, satisfying your kimono dream anytime and anywhere.

Intimate and professional service: Japan's kimono experience stores have a wide range of styles, from grand furisode to everyday yukata. The makeup artists are experienced and can create exquisite makeup and hairstyles based on the customer's temperament and the kimono they choose. There are also photographers who are well versed in the beauty of kimono and will record every moment of your elegance.

Strawberry Dreams at Brewer's Coffee & Bar🍓

#getgoing2025 I visited Brewer's Coffee & Bar in the ANA InterContinental Tokyo with a friend on a weekday evening, and it was a strawberry lover's paradise! The buffet was bursting with beautifully crafted strawberry-themed sweets, from creamy tarts to fluffy cakes and even delicate mousses. Everything looked almost too good to eat! What made this buffet extra special was the elegant afternoon tea-style stand provided at each table. You could pick your favorites from the buffet and create your own picturesque display. It was not just about the flavors (which were amazing) but also about the fun of arranging your desserts. The atmosphere was stylish yet cozy, and the service was impeccable. Whether you’re looking for a sweet treat or a unique experience with friends, this strawberry buffet is a must-try. Why I Recommend It: A wide variety of stunning strawberry desserts that taste as good as they look. The tea stand adds a personalized and creative touch to the buffet experience. 📍Address: 1 Chome-12-33 Akasaka, Minato City, Tokyo 107-0052 ⋆ ・⋆ ・⋆ ・⋆ ・⋆ #trip #travel #traveling #Tokyo #Japan

Shinjuku Drift : Kabukicho

#tokyotrip Kabukicho is a district located in the Shinjuku ward in Tokyo. It is is a side of Tokyo that you don't expect to see! You will find whatever food you crave, love motels, places to get a "massage", bars, golden gai, karaoke rooms, lots of adults shops etc. During the day, Kabukicho appears to be a quiet town with big classic theatres, batting centers, big hotels and restaurants. Therefore, it can be a suitable place for the whole family throughout the daytime.

Tower Restaurant: A Buffet with a View at New Otani Tokyo

#celebrateit Located inside the Garden Tower at Hotel New Otani Tokyo, Tower Restaurant is a buffet spot with an incredible view of the city. The floor-to-ceiling windows make the dining experience even more special, offering a stunning skyline while you enjoy your meal. I went for a buffet lunch with my family, and we had a great time exploring the wide variety of dishes. Since it was winter, there were plenty of strawberry desserts, which made me so happy! From strawberry shortcake to tarts, every dessert was beautifully presented and tasted amazing. Why I Recommend Tower Restaurant: 1. Amazing City Views – You can enjoy a delicious buffet while overlooking Tokyo’s skyline. 2. Seasonal Desserts – In winter, the strawberry desserts are a must-try! If you’re looking for a buffet with great food and an even better view, this place is worth checking out! 📍 Address: Hotel New Otani Tokyo, Garden Tower 40F, 4-1 Kioicho, Chiyoda City, Tokyo 102-8578, Japan #Tokyo #Japan

Imperial Palace, Tokyo | 2024.

Imperial Palace, Tokyo | 2024.

The Imperial Palace, or Kōkyo, is one of the most popular tourist destinations near Tokyo Station. The palace features an outer garden that is open to the public and an inner area that can be accessed with a guide. Registration for the guided tours can be done either as a walk-in or in advance (spots fill up quickly, so it's recommended to book ahead to ensure a spot 😂). The tours are free of charge. If you're a history enthusiast, especially of Japanese history, this place is a must-visit. The palace is relatively modern, having been built during the Meiji Restoration, which means it incorporates influences from abroad in addition to traditional Japanese culture. Inside the palace, you'll find various trees that create a relaxing and serene atmosphere typical of Japanese gardens. For first-time visitors to Tokyo, I highly recommend visiting the Imperial Palace to experience authentic Japanese culture. For those who have already been, don't forget to share your experiences!

Tokyo | A Yakiniku Restaurant So Good It'll Make You Roll Your Eyes

The highly private yakiniku restaurant with a Google rating of 4.5 stars—Gyuin is definitely a must-eat spot when in Tokyo. If there's one must-try item, it has to be the beef sandwich featured on the cover. The melt-in-your-mouth Wagyu is just indescribable 😭 A single serving costs ¥6000 (HKD300), but it's included in the set meal. Plus, the set meal comes with 12 different dishes, so I recommend ordering the set. When you order the set, you also get the added bonus of a handsome guy grilling the meat for you, so you don't have to worry about overcooking and wasting the beef. This place gets five stars for price, ambiance, service, and taste. If I come back to Tokyo, I'll definitely eat here again!

A Relaxing Tea Time at &co. andoko🍓

#getgoing2025 I visited &co. andoko in Ikebukuro on a quiet weekday afternoon, and it was the perfect place to unwind. The café has a calm, peaceful atmosphere, making it ideal for enjoying some downtime away from the hustle and bustle of the city. I ordered two types of croissants filled with anko (sweet red bean paste), and they were absolutely delicious. The croissants had a perfect balance of flaky texture and rich, slightly sweet anko filling. The flavors felt authentic and comforting, like something you'd find at a traditional Japanese pastry shop. **Why I recommend &co. andoko:** 1. Relaxing, quiet vibe—great for a peaceful break. 2. Unique, high-quality anko-filled croissants that are a must-try. 📍Address: 4 Chome−24−8 Higashiikebukuro, Toshima City, Tokyo, 〒170-0013 ⋆ ・⋆ ・⋆ ・⋆ ・⋆ #trip #travel #traveling #Tokyo #Japan

Japanese Culture | Exploring Japan's premier gateway, Haneda International Airport

Japanese Culture | Exploring Japan's premier gateway, Haneda International Airport

🧳 Located at the mouth of the Tama River in Ota Ward, Tokyo, Haneda Airport, officially known as Tokyo International Airport, includes Terminal 1, Terminal 2, and the International Terminal, making it Japan's largest airport. According to 2014 statistics, Haneda Airport ranked fourth in the world in terms of passenger numbers. 🌟 The history of Haneda Airport dates back to the 1930s, when it was known as Tokyo Airport and served for civil aviation passenger and cargo transport. Later, Haneda Airport was occupied by the U.S. military and returned in 1952, renamed Tokyo International Airport. Since then, the airport has gradually expanded, with a significant portion built on reclaimed land. 📍 Haneda Airport has four runways and is one of the very few airports in Japan that operates 24 hours a day. Compared to Narita Airport in Chiba Prefecture, Haneda Airport is very conveniently located for access. It takes only 13 minutes at the fastest to reach the International Terminal of Haneda Airport from Hamamatsucho in Tokyo by monorail, and 11 minutes at the fastest from Shinagawa by Keikyu Express. In contrast, the fastest trip from Tokyo to Narita Airport takes an hour, and the fare is much more expensive than going to Haneda. 👍 One of the iconic structures of Haneda Airport is the arch-shaped cable-stayed bridge, officially named the Tokyo International Airport Central North-South Connection Bridge. The bridge spans the Bayshore Route expressway, facilitating traffic between Terminal 1 and Terminal 2. Haneda Airport's control tower is 116 meters high, ranking fourth in the world. The observation deck is close to the airport's taxiway, where you can easily see airplanes. From the observation deck, you can see planes taxiing right in front of you, and even clearly see the captain and co-pilot, with the captain politely waving. ✅ Inside the International Terminal, the shopping area with a Japanese ambiance called 'Edo Koji' sells various souvenirs from Japan. You can take a free shuttle bus to travel between terminals, look at airplanes, eat some delicious food, buy some souvenirs, take a few photos, and then return home satisfied. For this reason, travel companies even offer special sightseeing routes to Haneda Airport.

The alley nearby Shin Udon towards Azuki to Kouri is lovely. It is a short 7 minutes walk between these 2 shops so it is also easy to plan your reservation timing. Along this street, there are also many cafes and restaurants too. There are housing apartment on the upper level and towards to the next street, there are private housing too. You can also spot expensive cars at the parking lots and there is even a Thailand tuk-tuk outside the Thai restaurant. The roads in Japan are easy to walk because it has been planned for both pedestrian and cyclist to walk on the side. You will also pass by a train track and this is controlled by traffic lights so when the train is passing by, the access is closed. #wheretogo #japan #tokyo #liveyourdreams #takethattrip

Relaxing Tea Time at Scoop Coffee in Shin-Okubo

#getgoing2025 Scoop Coffee in Shin-Okubo offers a spacious, stylish atmosphere perfect for a laid-back tea break. The cafe’s clean design and modern vibe make it a pleasant place to unwind. I ordered two types of pancakes—one sweet and one savory—and both were delicious! The sweet one had the perfect balance of fluffiness and richness, while the savory one was surprisingly satisfying, full of flavors. Why I recommend it: Both sweet and savory pancakes are incredibly tasty and well-made. The large, stylish space is great for both solo visits and hanging out with friends. Address: 1-16-9 Okubo, Shinjuku-ku, Tokyo Definitely a great spot for a relaxing afternoon! ⋆ ・⋆ ・⋆ ・⋆ ・⋆ #trip #travel #traveling #Tokyo #Japan #cafe #chill

#japantrip A friend of mine wanted to go, so I went with her. I visited around 13:30 on a weekday and was able to get in without waiting m. I had pancakes with bacon and eggs, and my friend had lemon and maple sugar . The pancakes go well with eggs and bacon, and you can also drizzle maple syrup if you like, making it both salty and sweet. The lunch set coffee and tea were of good quality and got me excited.
