Exhibition Name: Cui Jie: Gift Exhibition Location: West Bank Art Museum (2600 Longteng Avenue) 0 Exhibition Hall Public Transportation: Metro Line 11 Yunjin Road Station, Binjiang No.1 Exhibition Date: November 10, 2023 to February 25, 2024 Exhibition Tickets: Free Exhibition Introduction: The exhibition will explore the architectural, sculptural, and ecological changes in Shanghai and the related history and memories through Cui Jie's more than ten new paintings and a series of documents related to urban public landscapes. Mist Language Wind Words: I personally think that the curatorial selection is questionable: the selected frame of Dong'an Park only has form, but lacks the spirit of the garden frame. Secondly, the gorgeousness of brocade and the multi-panel colors of Cui Jie's paintings overlap a bit, making it a bit complicated. I personally think that brocade is more suitable as the background for documentary materials. This exhibition is worth watching ***.

Shanghai Disneyland 🌟🔥🌈

Just came back from Shanghai (whole trip booked on Trip.com). I highly recommend everyone to go Shanghai Disneyland!!! There is a newly opened zone of Zootopia (will post about more pics soon), and many wonderful Disney characters including Marvel! Dont miss the character parade at 12:00pm and 15:00, also the amazing fireworks at 20:00 and 21:00. I think the fireworks were the most worthy and memorable things we experienced in the park! Remember to download the official app before going to check the map and queue time. The queuing time was crazy, we went on a weekday (Monday) and still fill of crowd, waiting up to 90min for one play😂😅 I also recommend to hire a photographer to take photos of the precious moments. We booked it on trip.com and the photographer contacted us through WeChat. Remember to check the weather too and bring umbrella or raincoat. We were drenched in the sudden rain😂 Also the classic Disney songs are all in Chinese, you may find it interesting while listening. #disneyland #Shanghai #winhkflight I want to go Hong Kong to explore the Disneyland there🙌🏻🙌🏻

1933 Old Millfun in Shanghai

Address: 10 Shajing Rd, Hongkou District, Shanghai, China, 200086. Highlights: This 1933 Old Millfun was ahead of it's time when it was built, and still impresses to this day. I would recommend going there during the week, because weekends are full of citizens and it's hard to get a nice photo without a lot of people on the background. 🤩 That being said, this is a great place if you're interested in photography or architecture. You will also find some cafes, small shops and office spaces. Recommended for people who are in Shanghai for a short time or if you live here and want to explore the city a little more. 😬 Opening hours: 9am to 10pm daily #shinsider #shanghai #awesomepic

Shanghai's worth-seeing new exhibition: The luxurious and extremely intricate Persian miniature painting

Shanghai's worth-seeing new exhibition: The luxurious and extremely intricate Persian miniature painting

Persian miniature painting is a form of art from the Middle Ages, usually small in size and often used as illustrations. Its rich and beautiful colors form the backbone of the work, making it highly decorative. 🌟 Farah's works mainly include outer space, symbolic patterns, animals and plants, and a brass sculpture 'Eternal Life', holding a goldfish larger than a real person, which is a symbol of the Persian New Year Nowruz. ✅ I've always liked the space environment of gallery all, and there's a very stylish furniture store across the street to browse. I even passed by Wang Jiaer on a weekend visit. Persian miniature painting is a type I hadn't seen before, it's novel and interesting, and the details are like Easter eggs, such as Leon appearing in the first picture. ❤ The content is very rich and vivid, and there are many small paintings within a painting. It's worth seeing. 🌟 Mystery of the Unknown 🕙 -10.15 🎫 Free tickets, make an appointment on site 📍 No. 66 Yuyao Road, gallery all

It's not about five stars beating five stars

It's not about five stars beating five stars

❤Reason for recommendation: On Chongming, a small island separated from Shanghai by a river, there is a guesthouse called 'Lixiang'. This is a place where you can experience the fun of the countryside. Walking on the vast rice fields, watching egrets dancing in the sky, sheep leisurely grazing on the lush green grass, the sun shining through the metasequoia on both sides of the road, casting mottled shadows. These beautiful scenes make people feel as if they are in a dreamlike world. The founder of 'Lixiang' once said: 'What we want to do is not a five-star hotel in the countryside, but a place where tourists can feel the wild fun, where they can be in a completely relaxed environment, feeling the simplest freedom and happiness, just like another home in their own countryside.' In 'Lixiang', you can taste fine wines at the outdoor bar, watching the stars in the sky, feeling the twinkling starlight under the cover of green trees. You can also bathe in the sunset in the yard, enjoying the haze and warmth brought by the warm yellow light. Everything is so peaceful and beautiful, as if you have had a dream, the moon is on the willow, the moonlight is flowing in the house, we fall asleep deeply in a place like our hometown. 'Lixiang', a place where the soul can relax and nourish, allows us to find inner peace in the hustle and bustle of the city.

Shanghai Chenshan Botanical Garden: Magnolia and Cherry Blossom Festival

I visited Shanghai's Chenshan Botanical Garden in March, where a row of magnolia trees was planted right at the entrance. It was the blooming season, and the flowers complemented the river's bay scenery beautifully! The first thing I saw upon entering the garden was a relatively short cherry blossom tree, which allowed for close-up photos with the cherry blossoms without the need for a ladder📷. We could spend nearly an hour admiring just one cherry blossom tree, and it was hard to leave! Garden Transportation: There are golf carts available in the park for only 5 yuan per person Passengers must get off at the terminal stations (A, B). The route arrangements are as follows: A line: Starting from Gate 1 Comprehensive Building — Children's Botanical Garden Station — Quarry Garden Station — Rock Garden Station — Exhibition Greenhouse Terminal Station B line: Exhibition Greenhouse Station — East China Area Garden Station — Aquatic Plant Garden Station — Gate 1 Comprehensive Building Terminal Station.

🚶🏻‍♂️ Tallest Building in Shanghai?!

#chinatrip Always love exploring new places. I came by in the research that this is one of the must visit places in Shanghai. Usually people would just seeing this 3 Musketeer (Shanghai World Financial Centre, Jin Mao Tower and Shanghai Tower). The moment you arrive at this place, you will see a lot of people looking down to the floor 🌚 then realise you will also be one of them. Why? People are putting their camera / phone on the floor to snap the perfect wefie with 3 Muskeeter photo.

A stretch of Maoming South Road, how many stories of blooming flowers

A stretch of Maoming South Road, how many stories of blooming flowers

Maoming South Road was known as Mayers Road in old Shanghai, with a length of 1275 meters, it is a street with a profound historical background, exuding a sense of prosperity, composure, and steadiness. 🌟 Highlights: Maoming Road is also the prime choice for Shanghai's nightlife. Bars, theaters, Western restaurants, old hotels, etc., have an old-fashioned Shanghai style of Western flavor. Maoming South Road starts from Yongjia Road in the south and reaches West Yan'an Road in the north. In the recently popular TV series 'Blossoms', there are quite a few check-in spots on Maoming South Road: Nanchang Building—Guotai Cinema—Jinjiang Hotel —Lanxin Theater—Jinxian Road ✅ Indeed, a stretch of Maoming South Road, how many stories of blooming flowers... 📝tips: Past West Yan'an Road is Maoming North Road, where you can also visit Zhang Garden and Zhang Garden. Fengsheng Li, the largest existing Shikumen architectural complex in Shanghai with the most complete preservation and the richest architectural style. Turning left on West Nanjing Road, not far away, there are two more 'Blossoms' check-in spots: Kaiseling Cafe and Meilong Town Restaurant.

Winter is really here, although it's below zero, but the weekend is a rare good weather, still want to go out and get some air with friends This time to play something different, let's go camping together! A friend recommended this super large camping base at the foot of She Mountain in Songjiang Less than 2 kilometers from She Mountain subway station, the transportation is quite convenient The site is really very large, the first to greet us were two enthusiastic puppies The owner couple are idle cloud wild cranes, because of love, so they opened this camp, to provide a comfortable place without a ceiling for people who love camping or company team building or friends gathering Because the weather is too cold, still do not have the courage to sit outside, their home also has that kind of container transformation of the interior, provide side stove, tea around the stove, barbecue and so on, because the boss was originally catering, the ingredients are carefully selected, really all super super super delicious Strongly recommend their beef brisket pot Didn't expect to eat the ceiling of beef brisket in a camping base Large chunks of soft and tender beef, with sweet and tender radish, all absorbed the essence of the soup, delicious and full of fireworks The roasted milk made by the boss lady is also the most delicious I have ever drunk in the same series First need to fry the tea, then according to their own favorite sweetness to put in rock sugar, finally put half oat milk half fresh milk, wait until the milk skin appears is good, then sprinkle some small ingredients, a great success Drinking hot roasted milk, the whole person has been healed Their whole set of tea around the stove is the most abundant I have ever seen, double-layer fruit basket➕two large boxes of rich roast, there are even sausages, cotton candy roasted and sandwiched in the snow cake is absolutely With experience, bring more ingredients and equipment next time, strive to stay a whole day when spring flowers bloom Shop name: Qiu Ye·Shan Hu
