Planned to appreciate autumn in Tianping Mountain in Suzhou on the weekend, but was scared off by the crowd's photos, and ended up going to Yangcheng Lake, surprisingly found a red floating bridge nearby, the aerial view is like a red ribbon floating on the water, very artistic. ❤️Located on the south side of Yangcheng Lake, "Dongsha Lake" is the largest park in the Suzhou Industrial Park. There are many peninsulas along the lake. The most conspicuous is a red floating bridge with an S-bend on the east side. Walking on it doesn't feel much, but the aerial view is really amazing, especially when the weather is good, the lake water looks blue to the naked eye, like a red ribbon floating on the "sea". 🤎This park is more like a community park for nearby residents to walk and stroll. Getting There - Closest metro station: Beisita station + about 10-15mins walk. You can also take a bus. Attractions - Beautiful garden and peaceful environment! Food & Restaurants - I don’t recall seeing anything on site but there are plenty just outside the garden. 'Pingjiang Road' historical district, as a famous spot for the revitalization of ancient residential buildings within Suzhou city, attracts a large number of visitors every evening to check in. Local cultural and creative entrepreneurs have settled here, and many shops with local characteristics have gathered, adding a touch of charm to this old district. Pingjiang Road is located within the old city area of Suzhou, just a stone's throw away from the Humble Administrator's Garden. Charming Suzhou !

Suzhou Museum 🏯An appointment is needed to enter the museum , it is advisable to book the appointment at least two weeks in advance as this is a popular spot in Suzhou and the appointment slots are booked up really quickly. 🚆I live in suzhou , so I'm not able to recommended hotels located near the museum . Traveling to Suzhou from a another city , I'd say arrive at Suzhou Railway Station and then get a didi to the Museum . 🚶🏾♀️🚶🏾♀️I can say, it's a nice idea for a day trip for those who live within Jiangsu. The silk museum and The Humble Administrator Garden, are within close proximity , one could visit at least two of these locations on the same day . The metro line 2 is about 10mins walk from the Museum . ⏰️To view all the displays plus take a few pictures might take around 3 hrs. Do stay until evening , when the lights come on , the view is amazing then ! I'd say book the 4pm appointment. It will be a bit crowded at that time , but it really is really hard to avoid the crowd ,despite the time of day or night. 👁 Things you'll see inside : Porcelain bowls from the Ming Dynasty 1403 A.D., Nephrite Ornaments from the Qing Dynasty 1644, Silk Embroideries, the pride of Suzhou, among other beautiful well preserved artifacts. Zhuozhengyuan

Zhuozhengyuan is one of the representative and the most famous classic Chinese garden in Suzhou. The scenery here is really beautiful. The ancient buildings are surrounded by lakes and rivers. In summer, lotus blooms in the lake and fish and ducks swim in the river. Tourists can admire the beauty of Chinese ancient buildings here and feel the tranquility at the same time. Spring or autumn is the perfect season to visit here, but there may have a huge amount of tourists. Thus, please avoid public holidays or festivals in case that the garden would be over occupied. I strongly recommend a restaurant- xiesanbao near the garden. Food here is really tasty😍

The Lion Grove Garden, Emperor Qianlong's favorite: Known as the "Kingdom of Rockeries" ||| The Lion Grove Garden is located at No. 23, Yuanlin Road, Gusu District, Suzhou City, Jiangsu Province. It is one of the four famous gardens in Suzhou and a representative of the Yuan Dynasty garden. It covers an area of 1.1 hectares and an open area of 0.88 hectares. In 1342, the Lion Grove Garden was built by the disciples of the Zen Master Tianru. At the end of the Yuan Dynasty and the beginning of the Ming Dynasty, after the Zen Master Tianru died, the disciples scattered and the temple garden gradually became desolate. It was later bought by Huang Xingzu, the prefect of Hengzhou, the father of Huang Xizhi, and named "She Garden". In 1771, Huang Xizhi won the first place in the imperial examination, and he renovated the mansion and the courtyard, and named it "Wusong Garden". In 1917, Bei Runsheng, a giant pigment merchant in Shanghai, bought the Lion Grove Garden from Li Zhongyu, the Minister of Civil Affairs, and spent nearly seven years renovating it. After Bei Runsheng died of illness in 1945, the Lion Grove Garden was managed by his grandson Bei Huanzhang. In 1953, Bei Huanzhang and his relatives donated the Lion Grove Garden to China. The Lion Grove Garden is famous for its rockeries. There are many rockeries in the garden, each with different shapes, and it is known as the "Kingdom of Rockeries".
