SAIGON WATER BUS - Ho Chi Minh

Getting There - Water bus is also known as river bus. This type of transportation is quite familiar in other countries when it can both be traveled on land and can be run on waterways. In Vietnam, we call it “river bus” but it is actually a covered ferry, equipped with modern, more beautiful. But above all, ignoring the existing inadequacies, this is considered a new point in the water transport system of Ho Chi Minh City that many people are also eagerly looking forward to. Ticket price for one way or return is 15,000 VND/ticket. The Saigon River Bus will pass through 4 stations, the largest station, Bach Dang, District 1; Binh An Station, District 2; Thanh Da station, Binh Thanh district and Linh Dong station, Thu Duc. The interval between flights is 1 hour. Activities - With the spirit of feeling the city from a different perspective, Water Bus is a great choice for you and your family to have a full view of the Saigon River and high-rise buildings. The river bus is very wide, painted in eye-catching bright yellow, inside are 6 rows of seats divided equally on both sides, in the middle is a spacious aisle. In particular, under each row of seats, there are life jackets that are very safe for passengers. Following the Saigon river bus, we come to Bach Dang wharf every weekend morning gently. Drifting along the peaceful Saigon River, passing famous bridges such as Saigon Bridge, Thu Thiem Bridge are also works of city stature to be proud of. Taking the Saigon River bus to Bach Dang wharf to drink coffee is an interesting suggestion so that you don't have to think about where to go and what to do every weekend morning. This is a place where young people are also very eager, helping young people connect with each other, stay away from the noise of traffic jams and dust on the street, and feel the change of the city most clearly. Trip in Ho Chi Minh City - Day 1

Trip in Ho Chi Minh City - Day 1

Day 1: Breakfast - Central Post Office - Notre Dame Cathedral - Lunch - City Hall - Central Street - Dinner – Ho Chi Minh Square 1️⃣ Started the day with a coffee at Trung Nguyên Legend Café. This brand is found all over Ho Chi Minh City and is considered a fantastic local coffee chain. And, the one near Notre Dame Cathedral is special because it has an indoor beach, allowing you to feel relaxed by the seaside in the heart of the city. 2️⃣ Then, I headed to the Central Post Office, which isn't far from the coffee shop. On either side of the post office, you can handle postal services, while in the middle, you can find various souvenirs. 3️⃣ Right across from the post office is Notre Dame Cathedra. The cathedral was built in 1877 during the French colonial period. 4️⃣ For lunch, I dined at RUNAN, a restaurant next to Notre Dame Cathedral. I ordered a Berry Smoothie, Prawn and Pomelo Salad, and Grilled Prawn with Vietnamese noodles. It was quite delicious. Address: Số 3 Công xã Paris, Phường Bến Nghé, Quận 1, TP Hồ Chí Minh 5️⃣ After lunch, I explored City Hall, and nearby was Central Street, which felt like Paris's Champs-Élysées. After some tiring sightseeing, I found another corner café to relax. Vietnamese coffee is generally quite delicious, and any random café I chose was good. 6️⃣ Dinner was a casual affair with street food such as egg pancakes, rice balls, and grilled meat. After eating, I strolled to Ho Chi Minh Square. The City Hall was even more beautiful at night, and I took some photos before returning to the hotel.

𝗔𝗻 𝗖à 𝗣𝗵ê

Regarding the design of 𝗔𝗻 𝗖à 𝗣𝗵ê, the current shop only has 1 ground floor, the interior of the shop as well as the front facade are small tables and chairs mostly made of wood, the shop area is also small. It's too spacious, I think the maximum capacity is about 30 guests. The space inside the restaurant doesn't have air conditioning but I found it quite cool even though I visited the restaurant at noon. Going back and forth, I still like the front of 𝗔𝗻 𝗖à 𝗣𝗵ê the most, it's small and pretty in some way but I don't know how to describe it properly 😅. 📋About 𝗔𝗻 𝗖à 𝗣𝗵ê's menu, it includes machine-brewed and traditional coffee dishes, in addition to juices and fruit teas. The prices of drinks here are also very reasonable. I will post the menu in the review of the dishes I drank at 𝗔𝗻 𝗖à 𝗣𝗵ê. 🌟One more coffee shop option in District 3, if you like a small, beautiful and a bit nostalgic coffee space, please try it out 𝗔𝗻 𝗖à 𝗣𝗵ê #historicallandmarks #localguides #goodfoods #foodphotography #coffeeshop #cafe #restaurant

KATINAT BEN BACH DANG.

KATINAT BEN BACH DANG.

#vietnamtrip Located in a prime location, right at Ben Bach Dang park and next to the Waterbus pier. Next to the river, the advantage of this branch is that the outdoor space is very spacious and extremely airy when the weather is cool, but the sun or rain is a bit scary, but rest assured, there are umbrellas on the contrary, the inside of the house is very small, about 20 guests are cramped, decorated in the latest style of K's house, probably because it is close to the river, so it is probably to let customers see the beauty here, so the decor is also simple. The price of water here is higher than all the other branches, because the space here is high and there is no promotion to exchange kat, dear, the mixed water is okay, but because it is too crowded, the wait is long. Parking at Ton Duc Thang museum costs 10k/vehicle and walking is also quite close. The parking lot next to the restaurant is for those who take the Waterbus and must show their pre-booked ticket to be able to park there. Address : 10B Ton Duc Thang, Ben Nghe, District 1, Ho Chi Minh, Vietnam

Vừa Vừa Cafe

#vietnamtrip minimal style with main gray tone, spacious and airy space. There is a sitting area in the yard and ground floor only, free parking - in front of the shop, there is a guard. Price: reasonable, over 35k. The day I went in the morning, the shop only served filtered black coffee for 35k (OK) Staff: 9/10, the security guard is extremely friendly and enthusiastic. He also knows how to communicate in English with all the people living around there.

The shop is easy to find, turn from Ky Dong and you will see it Free parking at the People's Committee opposite 82 BHTQ Beautiful shop, flowers, leaves, dreamy stuff Going in on Tuesday morning is very quiet and deserted, people can come to work and study. The shop has a light scent from the moment you enter and plays soft music that is not too loud The drink is a small glass but it is also full, with little ice, not full of ice like other shops... The shop has many beautiful corners

Vietnamese restaurant recommendations

During my days in Ho Chi Minh City, besides discovering many beautiful cafes, I also found that a small amount of money can get you quality meals. Let me introduce you to District 2 - the expat residential area. Upon the landlord's recommendation, we went to District 2 for a meal one day and absolutely loved it. Next time you come, you might want to stay in District 1 but come to District 2 for a cozy atmosphere. The Deck Saigon A French restaurant near the riverside that makes you want to take out your phone and start snapping pictures as soon as you walk in. The white, simple, and upscale design makes you feel like your plastic bag has turned into Hermès. I believe it must have a romantic ambiance in the evening. Seats near the window offer a direct view of the river (although the river might not be exceptionally beautiful 😂). Mad House Perfect for lazily sipping cocktails with little umbrellas under the warm sunshine. The outdoor seating is really stylish. It's really hard to leave once you're there. If you have the chance, definitely take a stroll in District 2!

A must visit if you are into specialty coffee or just wanting a coffee fix. They have amazing croissants as well which pairs well with the coffee. Highly recommended! Will be visiting more often.
