This guesthouse far exceeded our expectations- Melissa and team have only taken it over in the last month and the work they’ve done already is breath-taking! The service we received from every member of staff was over and beyond what we could have hoped for. The restaurant, the cocktails, the food - everything was exceptional. So glad we didn’t stay at one of the spa hotels- they were nearly 4 times the price but guaranteed they couldn’t have given us the service we received here. We ate dinner on the first night, which was extremely good and tasty as well as having lunch the next day here. Really couldn’t recommend it enough. Make sure to ask to try the Duck Gin!

7 of us stayed here with ages ranging from 5 to 60 and we all loved it. Clean, comfortable en suite rooms, excellent food and drink, and brilliant customer service. Nothing was too much trouble. Chatting to the team, it seems they have only recently taken it over, and I really wish them all the very best. We hadn't intended spending very much time in the hotel, but the courtyard was irresistible - the perfect place to chill out on a sunny morning, afternoon or evening!

Very nice hotel, super friendly staff and perfect ambience for a relaxing stay! The quiet and cozy courtyard is lovingly designed and offers a unique atmosphere to enjoy exclusive cocktails. (2 night stay)

We spent two nights in the family room with our children (4 and 1.5). It was very comfortable and the staff was friendly. The inner courtyard is said to have been a trading place in the past and is very charming. We can highly recommend the hotel.

A thoroughly relaxing stay. The whole team looks after the guests competently and with a lot of passion. On my bike tour I appreciated a protected bike parking space with charging ports for e-bikes. Plus a quiet, gently renovated room. I spontaneously had dinner there too: a deliberately small menu, what is on offer is prepared fresh and with care by the kitchen. Very different people visibly felt at home. The only restriction: this old building is not recommended for people with mobility restrictions.
