Small Luxury Hotel Ambassador Zurich

Seefeld
The Ambassador is a newly renovated hotel just off the lake in Zurich. Old town and shopping just minutes away. Train station and tour busses a 30-minute walk Staff was very friendly and the room was very comfortable and clean. WiFi didn't work but got a passcode for the business WiFi instead. Television also had some issues (kept rebooting). But, we chalk that up to a new place. Everything else was great!
Sorell Hotel Zuerichberg

The breakfast was generous and the surroundings were ok. The geographical location is a bit off, on the mid-levels. Railroad trains in the city only go down the mountain, and it takes about ten minutes to walk.

Zürichberg
Conveniently located, the number 3 tram stop is right next to the hotel. The two-star hotel, breakfast buffet is relatively simple, but also basically has the category. Fruit, hot milk, coffee, cold milk and cereals, juice, a variety of bread, meat, cheese, and an egg cooker can cook eggs yourself. There are four beds in the quadruple room. The hand washing, the toilet and the shower room are separate and convenient. Health is very good. No disposable toothbrushes are provided. There is no air conditioner but there is a fan to catch up with the heat wave in Europe. It is very comfortable to open the window and sleep at night. Overall it is a small and exquisite small hotel, recommended.
Hechtplatz Hotel - Self Check-IN

This has to be the worst hotel I have stayed at in my life! Right from the very beginning I should have known what lied ahead. There is no reception desk. Check in is at the bar. There is no information posted anywhere and if you check in at a normal hour chances are you will find no one there to help. The lady who runs the place is nowhere to be found and guests are left to fend for themselves. We were there for 4 nights and not once did our room get cleaned. We ran out of toilet paper and clean towels and had to chase down the cleaning lady to get more. The room was a dirty mess from the minute we walked in. Dirty coffee cups, wrappers, and spoons from the previous occupants and we only got 1 towel apiece. The bed is right up by the bathroom door so if you’re standing next to the bed and someone walks out of the bathroom, you will get hit by the door every time. The elevator didn’t work properly and made a horrible noise until we were too afraid to use it anymore; sure enough, it stopped working. The cleaning lady was left to check people in since the owner sleeps in and doesn’t show up until late in the afternoon. Problem is, cleaning lady only speaks Spanish. We had to help her communicate with 3 separate couples who couldn’t understand her. They don’t have maps to help you get around the city and there is no one to ask. In a nutshell…DON’T stay at this hotel!!!! I cannot emphasize it enough! Pictures are deceiving.

Friendly and welcoming staff, communication is barrier-free. However, at the time of checkout, we paid the city tax in cash, but the employees did not figure out, and the credit card was swiped again. Fortunately, there was no departure, so that the staff canceled the order in time. The breakfast is very good. The bread is baked in the morning. The snacks are also hot food. It is fresh in the morning and is suitable for Chinese people. Modern facilities, Dyson hair dryer, free minibar, free capsule coffee, hot water bath, but the pillow is very soft and thin, my husband sleeps for one night... Hotel location is closer to the train station (not zurich hb station), but it takes 10-15 minutes to walk from Bahnhofstrasse. On the south side of the old town, there are coop and migros supermarkets nearby, but other restaurants suitable for Chinese tastes. less.
