The location is good, its very near the train station. Once exit from the hotel and we at right at the main street. It happened to ve where the christmas market begins. All the popular chocolatier are just around the corners for souvenirs from Switzerland. Room was decent, but the only and major downside, there's too many stairs. It'll be good to include a narrow ramp next to the stairs to allow us to drag our extremely heavy luggage. I think its because we checked in at night, there's not enough staff to assist us. Even on the way to our room, we had a small steps to overcome. 🤦‍♀️ I mean eventually its still manageable but it'll be a great help with the narrow ramp. *Attached a photo extracted online of the entrance to show the Entrance stairs for reference* As we are exhausted from our travel we didnt remember to take any photos of the hotel. We were stunt by the no. of steps at the entrance for a few moments, literally. 😅

Room was clean and surroundings have plenty of food and shops. Supermarket is also a stone’s throw away. We got a nice view of the river. Only thing was we had to wait an hour before we could check in as the room wasn’t ready, but the staff compensated us with late check out the next day. No complaints other than that!

We loved our stay at the hotel wellenberg during our recent trip to Zurich, it was perfectly situated and a lovely spacious family room. The bathroom could use an update, which I’m sure is in the works, as one that I spotted by the elevator looked stunning! Our kids especially loved the family tv/gaming room and special mention must be made of the lovely front desk staff and Ruth at breakfast who was absolutely charming. We would definitely return again on our next trip to Zurich.

Good location, only 20 minutes walking from the main train station and 9 minutes in public transport with several options to travel around the city. They allow you to use their microwave and kitchenware if you bring your own food. Breakfast does not worth for the price you paid. Highly recommended if you are coming to Zurich for few days.

The room is super beautiful. The three large windows can see the city and the snow-capped mountains in the distance. The facilities are very good and new, and the hygiene is very good. The parking space is difficult to enter, the entrance is very narrow and the parking space is not large.

The room was bigger than I thought it would be! For a place with 14-15m2, it’s pretty well laid out and doesn’t feel too small. The technology is fun, and the service was great — there was always someone there to help or answer my questions. The only glitch seemed to be that controlling everything from an iPad isn’t perfect and my blind got stuck so I had trouble rolling it up until right before I checked out, but since I hardly spent any time in the room anyway, it didn’t really matter. I would stay there again! Nice quality and comfortable 😊

Lastly they have also provided an umbrella and grocery tote bag in case you need it which was very thoughtful on guests needs. The breakfast buffet comes after booking the room (optional), offering a wide selection of fresh fruits and delicious hams, bread and yogurt options to start the day. All in all, my family and I had an enjoyable stay at this hotel.

The hotel is located in the old city of Zurich, in a good location, right next to the Grissmunster cathedral, across the street from the Limmat river, and convenient to every location in the old city. It is a 15-minute walk from the central railway station, and can also take 2 light rail stations. Close to Bahnhofstrasse, the service staff is very welcoming, in a hotel like Switzerland it is considered to be large, the room is still floor and very warm. Staying in the hotel has a touch of history.

The hotel is very clean, the facilities are good, there is a kettle, there are two coops nearby, very convenient, 5 minutes walk from the station. It takes more than 20 minutes to get to the city center by bus, and two train stations. The room I was given was on the first floor, which was a little bit private, and I had to draw the curtains because there were pedestrians walking by. After drawing the curtains, the light in the room was a little dim, but everything else was fine.

The Ambassador is a newly renovated hotel just off the lake in Zurich. Old town and shopping just minutes away. Train station and tour busses a 30-minute walk Staff was very friendly and the room was very comfortable and clean. WiFi didn't work but got a passcode for the business WiFi instead. Television also had some issues (kept rebooting). But, we chalk that up to a new place. Everything else was great!
