The hotel is in a good location and is above a restaurant. We did not add the breakfast at the restaurant to our reservation. We ate there once and it was okay. The restaurant people check you in and handle questions. You must request housekeeping when you want it. The room was clean and we had our own clean bathroom in the room. We never book otherwise when we travel. Room was not huge; however, it was what we expected. It was easy to book and checkin. Accessing our room was no problem. We took an Uber many times and did not use the bus system. It was easy walking to the waterfront and train station to catch a tour - about 20 - 25 minutes. Lots of restaurants in the area - The Bank, Pho and Voltshaus were ones we tried. There is a park across the street which appears to be used extensively by homeless people. No issues for us but it is not a place to go and sit and read a book. Overall, good value and glad we booked.

Wonderful experience! Rooms are sparkling clean and beautifully decorated. Bed was so comfortable! Staff are friendly & efficient. Location is the best, close to transportation, restaurants, etc. Food & ambience couldn't be better. Thank you fuerdich!

The room was spacious and comfy. The bathroom was clean and nice. The communication from the property was good. The instruction was clear - we managed to get to our room by ourselves easily although it was dark (we arrived at 11pm). It was a good deal for us since we were just transiting for the night.

Very out of the box and really nice! the coffee / restaurant downstairs is a huge advantage. The rooms are basic but nice & vintage. Be aware that some of the rooms share a bathroom across the hall but that is really ok, it is super clean. I will for sure be back. Great vibes!

We visited with a group of 24 (students and teachers), and everybody was very pleased. The rooms were beautiful, the employees nice, very laid back and flexible enough to offer breakfast to go for everyone cause we had early appointments to attend. Even the matresses were especially mentioned as very comfortable. The booking process for the group was a bit complicated, but always correct, and considering the surprisingly low rates for Zurich at this very central and beautiful location next to a park, we wouldn't want to stay anywhere else next time!

Easy to reach, just a few minutes by bus from the train station. Rooms are simple but very cozy, clean, and relatively quiet, although you may sometimes hear the stairs creaking or someone using the bathroom. WiFi is fast. The café downstairs offers breakfast at reasonable rates. Staff covers pretty much the entire spectrum of friendliness, from very, to not.
