The hotel is almost perfect in every area. The staff are helpful and very friendly. It is located right in the Old Town and very near the river, the main train station as well as main tourist attractions. There are also eateries nearby to suit every kind of preference and budget. The only thing I wish they have is, for safety reason, hand rails (grab bars) in the bathtub for seniors because one has to climb in and out to use the shower.

We loved our stay at the hotel wellenberg during our recent trip to Zurich, it was perfectly situated and a lovely spacious family room. The bathroom could use an update, which I’m sure is in the works, as one that I spotted by the elevator looked stunning! Our kids especially loved the family tv/gaming room and special mention must be made of the lovely front desk staff and Ruth at breakfast who was absolutely charming. We would definitely return again on our next trip to Zurich.

The hotel toilet trash can was full of toilet paper and was not cleaned before check-in. I called the front desk to ask for the trash can to be cleaned and was told that the cleaning staff had taken a break and would not be able to clean until tomorrow morning, but we would check-out tomorrow. The other three people staying only had 2 cups, so they had to ask the front desk to get them. In addition, the room was very dusty and lacked cleaning. In addition, the bathroom in the room is old and different from the photos, so it is not recommended. The only advantage is that it's close to the old town.

The family room is very large, which is pretty good among European hotels. The city of Zurich is not large, so the hotel is very convenient to go anywhere. The main advantages are large area and good location Hygiene: Average, some corners are not clean enough Facilities: Breakfast is very simple, just a few hot foods, coffee and fruits Service: Not good enough

Convenient location, spacious rooms, friendly service

I am so happy with our stay at Hotel Wellenberg. The staff was so kind, welcoming and professional. We stayed in the Tower Suite and our girls had a traditional room. The suite was incredible, beautifully appointed and comfortable, and the smaller room was also extremely well put together and functional. The breakfast was so much more than we expected and the staff in charge of the breakfast was very welcoming and friendly! The location felt convenient to everything. I would recommend this hotel to anyone coming to Zurich.

This property was everything I needed for my vacation, the staff was very professional and helpful as well as pleasant. The location was so nice( despite the construction) going on outside the hotel, it was the ideal location for me and my family. Again, the staff was very helpful and knowledgeable of all my questions. I truly enjoyed that we were in close proximity to everything we needed.

It was a really nice location and beautiful hotel. The only thing I wasn’t a fan of was constantly having to get the portable A/C unit refilled with water to work

Very nice hotel located close to several good restaurants and close to old town shopping and sights. Reception was very helpful and accommodating, breakfast staff very friendly, and the room spacious and nice. The room actually had an Xbox, which was cool even if we didn't use it. Would stay here again.

Well located, but lots of construction nearby - that isn't the hotel's fault. Lounge area is lovely and hotel is well located. Staff were very friendly and helpful.
