Visionapartments Albertstrasse - Contactless Check-IN

Our first room was on the top floor, it was hot, small and our shower drain was completely blocked so the water ended up leaking all over the floors inside the apartment. After contacting the customer service we got a new bigger room downstairs which was a bit better but still very hot because the ceiling fan didn’t work and all we were given was this tiny tower fan to cool down one big room, ridiculous.. Because the hotel has no staff you can’t store your luggage and also they won’t allow early checkins which is terrible service too. Also just a warning, the neighbourhood is kind of dodgy, local supermarket is covered in graffitis and I almost got robbed on our way to the apartment. There was also a construction site right next door.If I ever end up back to Zurich I will definitely avoid all the Visionapartment hotels, not worth the money. I saw some lovely hotels with actual reception staff closer to the city center, please rather spend your money on those.

Very nice studio with everything we need, convenient location to access the local tram.

Hard to speak to any staff, all communication by e mails because landline numbers are available only during office hours ...but response is slow,

"I stayed for 5 nights during my trip as a solo traveler. The hotel is located in a great area. Moreover, the room was clean and well-equipped. Thank you!"

The apartment had a bed and a usable kitchen which was nice. Unfortunately, the room came with an ornamental fan -as in, the fan existed but did not work and so was more of a compliment to the aesthetic. During the heat it was not good; we emailed reception who informed us they would get the cleaners to drop off a fan the following day, unfortunately this didn't eventuate.

Arrived July 8 - no remote for the ceiling fan. Sent an email at 4:45 pm - no response. Called maintenance hotline at 8:17 pm - were told there was a portable fan in the unit, I informed them there was not. They said the earliest they could get us a fan was the next morning. Sent another email at 12:21 pm on July 9th asking when it would be brought by. We left at 1:45 pm - still no fan. 90 degrees both these days. No screen on the windows so the only way to get any air circulation was to open the windows and be exposed to the loud noises and the outside having full view of you and your room. We were on the bottom unit and you can hear every step taken above you. It sounds like springs and boards with each step. No face towels, no outlet in the bathroom, so you have to plug in by the closet. Only one side of the bed has an outlet, so I got to plug all of my stuff in by the kitchen sink. Killed multiple bugs during the stay (ants, spiders, etc.) The decor of our Studio Senior Apartment was not like the depicted pictures, so maybe one of the other units looks like that. Overall, a very disappointing stay.
