Perhaps it was because it was a full moon or that the owner was out of town, but this experience was not like our last. When we booked; they referred to our room as similar to last time but called the annex, which unfortunately is not displayed on their website, but we took their word that it was very similar. The top parking lot is always full, so we parked in the lower lot, carried our suitcases up to the reception through the rocks, only for the very cold curly haired receptionist to tell us our room was not in the main building and guided us through the pool while we rolled our bags around other guests lounging in their pool chairs looking at us as though we were bothering them, down a flight of stairs and through the first gate which was covered in thick grease that transferred to us, across a very large private driveway (with gate access that we were not allowed to use), up more stairs through a second gate, through a table of other guests outside sitting at their patio dining, and finally to our room. Imagine thinking you are going to stay at a high end resort only to be dragging your suitcases through the pool, someone's patio while they dined, through two gates and two flights of stairs. The room was appointed with a king bed, a kitchen and a table. They had forgotten to set up one of the kid's cots and the cot they gave one child was so soft, you could not sit on it without falling in. Next came the spiders. About a dozen before they came in to remove them, some in the bathroom, some on the main bed, and some next to the kid's cot. Then came the mold. The bathroom wall had a large patch of black mold growing on it. I went to the front desk to explain that we had many families of spiders and black mold, which she said they were sold out and would come take care of it when they put up the other cot. They did bleach the wall down and did remove as many spiders as they could. Then the toilet was broken. It ran all the time unless you double pressed the button to unjam it. It was a night to put it lightly. The next morning, the woman running the breakfast was delightful. She had a wonderful personality and cared very much. The morning front desk girl was also much improved, but did say the only room left to move to was the room directly next to ours where we had rolled past the former guests at their outdoor table the night before. We decided to stay at this point and make the most of our last day. The receptionist said she would book us a reservation that evening for dinner giving us the restaurant name and time. We showed up only to find the restaurant closed for holiday, without any other mention of this from the front desk staff throughout the entire day. The other unfortunate thing is that there is no continuous lighting heading to this back annex at night through the obstacle course. I tripped on the tile ledge, fell and bruised my foot and leg. This trip was not a pleasant one. We wheeled our suitcases again through the obstacle cours

We just loved this property and its staff. They make olive oil from their olive grove on the property and it is delicious. The property took 10 years to build and you will see the time was well spent on making the details just perfect. What a lovely place to stay.

Very luxurious, hidden gem property north of Vicenza. Everything was perfect. The staff was very friendly and helpful with food recommendations, the bed was state of the art, the pool was clean and refreshing and the environment was just so peaceful and relaxing. Makes for an excellent base to see surrounding cities such as Bassano del Grappa, Verona, Padova, etc.

This is a very nice place and very nice staff. The problem is that you can bring kids and the place is not big enough to that. There is so much noise in the room at the pool, kids jumping in the pool splashing on every body. So sad because it have so much potential. So advice to hotel make it to "adult only" the also spend more money.
