I had an excellent 3-night stay at Zug Youth Hostel. From the moment I arrived, I was impressed by the warm and welcoming staff who made the check-in process smooth and pleasant. The hostel is impeccably clean and well-maintained, providing a comfortable and relaxing environment. The location is fantastic, offering easy access to the beautiful town of Zug and its picturesque surroundings. Breakfast was delicious with a good variety of options, making for a great start to each day. The facilities were modern and convenient, contributing to an overall enjoyable experience. I highly recommend Zug Youth Hostel for its top-notch service, cleanliness, and prime location. It’s one of the best hostels I’ve stayed at.

I was very pleased with my stay here. The hotel is thoroughly modern and comfortable by American standards. Rooms are large with comfortable bed and lots of light. European plugs abound just bring your converter. Hotel is extremely quiet so no problem taking a nap after long flight or getting a good night rest. Restaurant is very pretty and breakfast quite pleasant and not crazy expensive for Swiss. Will happily return next time business brings me here. Winter view from my room shown.

The hotel is centrally located and therefore ideal for discovering the beautiful old town of train by foot. At the reception you will be friendly. The lift reaches the rooms quickly. The rooms are clean but rather smoothly furnished. There is no ambience so you don't feel very welcome. The restaurant is especially pointed with friendly and careful service. The menu looks promising. But you are disappointed by the way you get the preparation and presentation in the Coop restaurant. Eating is economy, but the prices first class. The hotel is located on a highly driven Duchgangstrasse and the parking places in front of the house are limited and therefore mostly occupied.
