We have stayed here several times a year for over a decade. This is a truly lovely hotel with spacious and very comfortable bedrooms. The breakfast is outstanding. The family who run this hotel are really lovely and together with their superb colleagues ensure a very friendly welcome. Secure off road parking and a short walk into the centre mean this is an ideal location from which to enjoy the wonders of Ieper and the surrounding area. We love staying here and always look forward to our next visit.

Hotel was very conveniently located, in a quiet road but so close to the main Square. Everything was within easy walking distance. We had a spacious, and very clean, modern en suite room with large comfortable bed. Reception staff were very friendly and helpful . We enjoyed local beers in the lounge bar, which was modern and tastefully decorated. The breakfast was great value, and delicious with cooked eggs and bacon as well as excellent continental choices. There was an outside terrace which must be lovely in better weather. We used the secured car park with EV charging points at the back of the hotel.

Great hotel. Staff is excellent, Location is perfect for the Market Square, In Flanders Field Museum and the Menin Gate. Room was large, well appointed and the bathroom was grand. Highly recommend staying here. Did not have the in house breakfast but talked to several guests who did and would definitely do so on our best visit

Great location, lovely staff, room just what we wanted, very good (buffet) breakfast. Ypres itself was a great place to be, much livelier than expected, obviously a tourist town, but I did not feel ripped off. enjoyed it immensely. Will go again.

An excellent hotel which we use whenever in Ypres (normally at least twice a year). The rooms are clean, spacious with comfortable beds, good facilities, free internet and plenty of storage space. Breakfast is a very comprehensive buffet with unlimited hot drinks and a great selection of hot food, bread and pastries. Ideal to set you up for a day of battlefield tourism! The bar is open until 2230 at night and provides a good selection of wines, beers and other drinks. The location is convenient for central Ypres, no more than a ten minute walk from the Menin gate but just far enough from the Groote Markt that it’s quiet at night. Finally the staff are always friendly, helpful and professional. Highly recommended all round.

Such a beautiful hotel situated perfectly for the cathedral and menin gate, the breakfast is plentiful and the staff very attentive. A period property designed beautifully with decoration to suit. The secure car parking and garage for motorcycles is a fantastic feature.

This hotel understands excellent service. The location and parking are perfect. The breakfast is spectacular and the rooms are comfortable. Great value for the central location. We would recommend this hotel highly for Ypres. Thanks for a fabulous stay

This is a wonderful hotel, perfectly located in the centre of beautiful Ieper. The welcome is always very warm, and the staff always helpful and friendly. There is a good sized bar and also a large breakfast area. The breakfasts are excellent, with a good selection of cold and hot food. The rooms are also excellent: large, warm and with very comfortable beds. Likewise, the bathroom (I had a shower and a separate bath in mine). There is also ample free parking at the rear of the hotel - quite a luxury in the centre of Ieper! All in all, superb value for money I can’t recommend this hotel highly enough.

The pleasure of staying at Albion Hotel begins with the warmest of welcomes upon arrival and you are treated as a valued guests from there, throughout your stay. Every staff member is friendly and kind and makes you feel at ease and at home. I stayed in a modern Premier room with a little view of the Church in the street. The room was large and had a modern, good sized bathroom. Towels are soft and in excellent condition and housekeeping is excellent and responsive to any extra needs you may have. The hotel has a very friendly sitting and bar area which is utilized by guests. If you take the breakfast package you will be treated to a delicious and wide range of locally sourced goods. The service here is also excellent. The Albion is located only a few minutes walk from the square where you’ll find many restaurants and shops and also from the Menin Gate. The Albion is hard to leave and always wonderful to come back to for another stay.
