Was there for a weekend social event. The entrance was dismal and the receptionist asked for charges in advance. I know this is becoming more common but in such cases I refuse and they can lose the business or hold my passport. They chose the latter. The room was very USSR era basic. The air con was not working [they did fix it after I complained] and the buffet breakfast was I suppose adequate. The restaurant in the building where we had dinner the first evening was very limited in choice. At 9.30pm when we asked for the sweet menu we were told the restaurant had closed at 9.00pm. We helped ourselves from the chilled cabinet. However the next night we went to a pasta/pizzeria type place across the courtyard mysteriously named Arche Hotel Sacharoza or Paragon Fiskalny [on receipt]. We ordered salads and pasta and pizza to follow. The second courses were served whilst we were still eating the salads and I told the waitress to take them back and make sure they were hot when we were in a position to eat and enjoy them. She did. That night my wife had the worst stomach ache imaginable which was relieved only by severe vomiting at 3.00am. On arriving home 36 hours later I had severe diarrheal for two days. My suspicious mind thinks that our 2nd courses were tampered with owing to my complaining. Two healthy strong stomachs affected as they were in such circumstances is very unusual. So there it is. A Soviet era factory turned hotel hardly worthy of a single * and eating places a traveller might think twice about.

I was really curious about this hotel,I travelled with kids and expected a lot more for this price. Hotel was new but there was fungus under the shower, nobody came to clean our room, staff wasn’t very pleasant apart from 2 bartenders and 2 receptionists. I was really disappointed about it. But the worst was the food… 2 restaurants, one with pasta and pizza and second one with polish cuisine… not a lot to choose for someone who doesn’t eat meat… There was nothing around the hotel, nowhere to go to eat or to visit. The best part of the hotel is swimming pool, it is well prepared for children. Hotel design is also nice but this is not enough to convince me to book this place again.

I had the pleasure of spending a few days at the Cukrownia Żnin accommodation, and I must say it was an amazing experience that exceeded my expectations! The architecture of the place, a former sugar factory, is stunning. The superb revitalization has combined historic charm with modern comfort, creating a unique atmosphere. Spa: Let me start with the Spa, which was absolutely fantastic. From the moment I entered, I felt relaxed thanks to the serene atmosphere and professional service. The massages were incredibly relaxing, and the wide range of treatments ensured there was something for everyone. The sauna and jacuzzi completed the experience, providing full relaxation after a day of sightseeing. Restaurants: The cuisine at Cukrownia Żnin is very good. The restaurants offer a variety of dishes, and I particularly recommend trying the pizza, which was exceptionally delicious. The breakfasts were plentiful and varied, and the lunches and dinners provided solid culinary experiences. Pool: The pool was the perfect place to cool off and enjoy some active relaxation. The clean water, comfortable loungers, and friendly atmosphere made every moment spent by the pool a sheer pleasure. Rooms: The rooms at Cukrownia Żnin are spacious, elegant, and very clean. The modern amenities and attention to detail made a great impression on me. Service: The service was top-notch. The staff was always smiling, helpful, and professional. Every request was handled quickly and with full commitment, making me feel special and appreciated as a guest. Cukrownia Żnin is a place that combines luxury, comfort, and a warm atmosphere. It is the perfect place to relax, unwind, and escape from everyday life. I highly recommend it and will definitely return at the earliest opportunity! Thank you for a wonderful stay!

We came for a weekend. The hotel was fully booked. The facility is huge and looks a tad unfinished. Some buildings still need renovation. The hotel is located in an old sugar factory. Fans of industrial style will be delighted. And while in general everything looks good and coherently, the rooms are unfortunately disappointing - uncomfortable and ugly. It is unbelievable but one girl on reception desk in Fabryka 1 wasn’t nice and didn’t care and the other one on Fabryka 2 was super nice and helpful. Food is good but expensive. The service leaves much to be desired. Waitress in Turbinownia are really nice and carrying and helpfull. On the contrary, in the bar next to the reception in Fabryka 2 - chaos and lack of organization reign there. The girls have no idea about customer service, it is a mess and it takes half an hour to accept the order. In the end coffee is cold when it’s served. Cleaning ladies are blind or unable to read because they cannot see “do not disturbed” signes and enter the room. There is a lot of work to be done there.

I like going back there. Well-developed place, interesting arrangement. The service is nice and helpful. A small exercise room, swimming pool, playground, and a cinema are available. Several restaurants offering good food, a cafe and a pub offering beer from its own vats.

Crowds of hysterically enthusiastic Germans running around and taking pictures as they have never been outside their villages, salespeople from German and Austrian companies with their Russian peers (as those companies still deal with Russia) that have organized incentive meetings here. Crowds of corpo "ladies" in high heels on the beach from the same meetings excited that they finally left their families and they are ready for everything with their male colleaugues. This place is full of such people and completely does not have any relaxing vibe. You can feel as in the office building full of officially dressed people, serious convesations, official meetings and tense atmosphere. Except for this you can find here the pier and pavements completety covered with feces (please see my video), rooms missing basic amenities (no fridge even in the expensive rooms, completely nothing like basic bathroom amenities offered by normal hotels; no handkerchiefs, no shampoo, just little bit of shower gel but of course less than half of a dispenser), dirty towels with holes, stained floors (see pics), empty plates in the breakfast buffet more than one hour before it finishes, bed covered as on the pictures, dirty windows. No iron in the room. Small rooms. In some places this complex looks as it was falling apart- water leaks through the walls (see video). Reception staff rude. Impossible to reach them by phone- they rarely pick up the external calls. Everybody is angry to work here. Restaurant Sacharoza open till 21:00 (as they say on Monday June 12) however on Tuesday June 13 at 20:33 waitress says that only take away is possible. After placing and order she is running to the kitchen shouting "relax Guys, it is just take away". Funny thing that for this take away they agree to give us glass, cooler with ice cubes but refused to serve us on plates. What is the difference? Glass- yes, plates- no. Why they say that only take away is possible half an hour before the closure on Tuesday 13? As a result we had a few meals served in the boxes, and the wine and drinks in glasses, in the terrace and they told us to "leave them anywhere" when we finish. On Wednesday noon (June 14) I went to see the beach bar but staff was busy with gossiping and laughing aloud. Really cannot understand the fascination of this overpriced place that offers really poor standard and bad customer service. Everything seems to be illogical here. One building named Administration and the other named Reception. Who could guess that Administration is in fact the restaurant whereas Reception is not. The same letters, different meaning. We only noticed Administration is the restaurant on the last day when we were passing by. There are leaflets everythere promoting the investments in the rooms "allowing up to 5% of income and as much as 50% of discount when booking your own room" 🙈😄 Cukrownia Żnin is packed with the gadgets impersonating the founder of the investment scheme with big note "Take me hom
