Wow! 🤩 This is one of the most wonderful hotels I’ve stayed in! The views from the rooms are incredible. Waking up to sunrise hitting the water and mountains was amazing! The rooms are super clean, the showers strong and the sheets and bed are luxurious. I booked the Mountain View which was very nice with a balcony but decided to upgrade to lake view when I arrived as the views were incredible! Loved the bath!!! The staff are so kind, friendly, helpful and always greet you with a smile. The boss and staff went out of their way to help me have the best time during my stay. The check in was simple and easy. Breakfast was a big bowl of delicious fresh noodles and an assortment of Chinese breakfast treats, along with tasty fresh local fruits! Every night they give you fresh local fruit after dinner too – so nice!
Looking directly over the lake, it’s 5 meters from a walking path right beside the lake and you can easily explore the whole area by foot from here, or rent bikes nearby to see more of the lakeline. It’s also very close to the boat that brings you to Phoenix Island so it’s very conviennent.
Navigating your way there is easy and there is plenty of free parking out front. From here you can walk into town to get dinner or some snacks which is only 5-10mins but has plenty of options. It’s far enough away that it’s very peaceful here at night and you can see the moon reflected on the water and sleep in peace.
Would really recommend this place for families, couples or friends travelling as it’s just wonderful! Can’t wait to come back and stay again!

This off-peak trip was very rewarding. The mountain road from Danxia Mountain to Chenzhou was winding and took a long time. We arrived late on the day after 11 o'clock. The store owner was very patient and warmly upgraded our room from a mountain view room to a lake view room, and they were the two rooms with the best views.
