Dongjiang Lake Suman Homestay (Xiaodongjiang Scenic Area)

The room was excellent and extremely quiet, with superb soundproofing on the door. It's conveniently located near attractions, and I would definitely stay here again.

The location is fantastic, just a two-minute walk to the scenic spots. The guesthouse was incredibly thoughtful, even providing disposable towels and other amenities.

Out of all the guesthouses on the street, this one definitely had the most style. It's freshly renovated with a modern touch and spotlessly clean. Being a local family-run establishment, personally managed by the owners, it felt wonderfully warm and welcoming. They even upgraded our room when they learned we were traveling with children, which was incredibly thoughtful. The young owner/manager was charming and polite, and the lady boss was exceptionally kind, offering practical and useful travel advice. The whole experience was incredibly heartwarming and left us feeling completely satisfied. A truly exceptional stay that far exceeded our expectations!

This B&B is incredibly close to the entrance of Xiaodongjiang Scenic Area, just a short 3-minute walk away. The hostess was absolutely wonderful; we arrived quite late, and she generously upgraded our room for free. They even have EV charging stations, though you should contact the owner beforehand to reserve one. Five stars!

This is a fantastic homestay. The host is incredibly friendly and thoughtful, making us feel right at home the moment we arrived. The Xiaodongjiang Scenic Area is conveniently located less than a ten-minute walk to the right of the homestay entrance. Parking right outside is also safe and secure. The room was spotless. The mattress had the perfect balance of firmness and softness, and the pillows were incredibly comfortable, guaranteeing a good night's rest. As someone who is very particular about beds, I can confidently say my sleep quality was excellent, easily a 90/100. I was so comfortable that I completely forgot to take photos of the room! Additionally, I must give a special shout-out to the showerhead and water temperature. They were the best I've encountered on this entire road trip – so easy and convenient to use. I even took pictures because I plan to replace mine with a similar one when I get home! I will definitely stay here again on my next trip to Chenzhou. Right next door to the homestay, there's a rice noodle breakfast shop run by a military wife. It opens early, around 5 AM every day. If you're planning to wake up at 6 AM to catch the misty morning fishing nets on the Dongjiang River, grabbing breakfast there is incredibly convenient.

The property is brand new with stylish decor. It's spotlessly clean and completely odor-free. The scenic area is right next door, visible from the moment you step out. In the evenings, you can even take a stroll along the river. Parking is convenient, and the location is superb. Highly recommended.
