5 stars hotel in a beautiful place but…. Services mostly closed or unavailable and compared to 3 stars hotel, swimming pool closed, the restaurant is inside without the sea view (what a shame for this place).. outside tables in the terrace removed… you pay for the view and cannot enjoy …. the good thing is the shuttle bus to all the temples .

What can I say? The hotel is located on the top of the mountain. I upgraded the room type for free and can see the sea. Facing the east, I can see the sunrise early in the morning and the room can get sunlight. But even so, the musty smell is still serious. Because it is on the top of the mountain, it is far from the scenic area. The hotel has a shuttle bus to the three big temples and the pier. But on average, there is one bus per hour. If you miss one, you have to wait for the next one. It is more convenient to go shopping and eat at the foot of the mountain. The hotel does not have electric mosquito coils, but uses coil incense, which I think is quite effective. It is said that the Chinese restaurant is good, but I didn't experience it this time. I will try it again next time if I have the chance.

The front desk staff was very friendly and provided a free upgrade. The room was very large and quiet. The seafood in the restaurant was good. In addition, a hand-copied Heart Sutra was placed in the room, which was very good.

However, the hotel facilities are old, and many areas are not open. For example, the fitness center, swimming pool, and restaurant are very average, but according to this environment and shuttle service, the cost performance is very high, and I will go back next time.

I have stayed at Xiangsheng Hotel several times when I came to Putuo Mountain. I felt that it was cost-effective, the service was good, the rooms were large, clean, and the scenery was beautiful. The dinner on the terrace was poetic and the dishes were rich and delicious.

There was no musty smell when you first entered the room, but the smell was really overpowering as soon as you turned on the central air conditioner... Putuoshan Pier Pickup: The pier pick-up is also very convenient. I called the hotel on the boat and there was a car waiting at the pier. I could also take the bus to Puji Temple or Fayu Temple. There were many people on the bus. It was great not to have to queue.

Then take the island bus to the temple. The hotel restaurant is now next to the lobby, and the service is good. The next day, I went out according to the shuttle bus schedule. When I returned to the hotel, I could call and wait for the car from the pier at the fixed parking spot to take it back to the hotel. Although the hotel is far away, it is convenient to have a car to pick up. In addition, the hotel swimming pool is under maintenance. The hotel facilities are old, but they are clean and the bath water is also large. Overall satisfied!
