The boss of the camp is really super caring. We booked it half a month in advance. When we were nearing the check-in, the boss Hui contacted us in advance to inform us of the local weather and precautions. After all, the desert is different from the environment we normally live in. So we can prepare clothes and other items. After arriving at Zhongwei Station, we contacted the car arranged by the boss to pick it up. It took almost an hour to arrive at the camp. The camp is located in the hinterland of the desert. It is really a blockbuster. It can be charged and WiFi in the tent. It is very convenient. The barbecue at night is also good. It is different from the usual life. People are very relaxed, comfortable and worth recommending.

1. Excellent location. About 30 minutes away from Shapotou Scenic Area; good road conditions, one-way four lanes; a few steps downstairs to breakfast shops and restaurants; 10 minutes straight walk to the night market; a drugstore at the next intersection.
2. Cost-effective. As a tourist city in the western region, this price and configuration are OK.
3. Good service attitude. The attitude of reception, front desk, customer service, etc. is ok.
4. Several other advantages. There is a humidifier; yogurt snacks in the small refrigerator are free; extra beds are free; local food and scenic guides are provided.

Grand Xiaqian Hotel is one of the few star-rated hotels in Zhongwei.
Hotel location is first-class, easy access, clean house, facilities are relatively complete.
The front desk service was polite and smiling. This review especially praised the room service. The room service Xia Auntie had a good attitude and was responsive. She was eager to solve the guest's supplies. For example, she bought watermelon. Aunt Xia automatically proposed to provide plates and cut watermelon knives. I found this campground with good reviews... The experience was great. The boss arranged a pick-up after we got off the plane and took us directly to the desert. The boss was also very enthusiastic when we checked into the campground. The campground has its own restaurant, which is convenient for dining, and the room we stayed in It's clean and tidy. There is a heart-shaped pool in front of the house, and there are two cute little ducks in it. There are several swings in the camp, and there is also a sandboarding area that is free to play, and a project package is provided...I love riding Camel...a very satisfying stay.

JJoo HiengThe hotel is located about 20 minutes away from the Zhongwei south station. You’ll need a cab for this area and is 30-40 minutes to city of Zhongwei. Not much f&b options available around the area except for Riva (which is average)
Breakfast experience is bad. Could be better with more options. The breakfast is at Riva. There were only 1 choice of white bread. Eggs - hard boiled eggs. No eggs station. There were noodle stations. Fruits was also very basic only watermelon and rock melon. More seasonal fruits is better.
The hotel is quiet - the swimming pool could be better in operating mode. Even you can’t swim and just for picture, would be nice to soak. Bathroom amenity should be replaced on daily basis. A fan of the Le Labo amenities.
If you’re going for dinner, suggest book in advance or you’ll need to take a 40 mins trip to the city for dinner. Light meals can be ordered. The bakery is nice and love the apple cinnamon rolls, they also offer breakfast but only breads, daily freshly pressed juices and coffee. For the rate that you’re paying - it’s really just for the location and unique experience. There’s also pottery classes available.

Facilities: I booked a sand view room with air conditioning, so it was not cold at night. The bed and quilt were very comfortable. The room was also quite large, and the suitcases could be spread out. There was also a separate toilet and bathroom for bathing. Hand soap, shampoo and shower gel were provided. It was completely ok to bring children and parents
Environment: The room is open to the sand, 360 degrees of sand, and the view is desert everywhere. It is very open and spectacular. The baby opens his eyes every day and goes out to dig sand. It's so happy

GGuest User酒店就在沙坡頭黃河區裏面，我們自駕過去，先把車停在了黃河區入口停車場裏，到6點以後才可以開車挺到酒店門口。酒店送兩張大人門票，先去入口處憑訂單訊息換大人的門票，我們帶了2個小朋友，自己再另外購買兩張小童票進入景區。有電瓶車送我們直接到酒店。辦好入住以後，到了6點後酒店會幫忙叫電瓶車送出去再把車開進來搬行李。
酒店有送下午茶，也送大人的早晚飯。我們去的那天晚飯是自助。小朋友超過1.2米半價。我們兩個小朋友都收了半價。但我看別的帶兩個孩子的超高的，大人多質疑幾句，服務員就讓他們衹付一個小朋友就好。這個標準不統一有點難以理解。早飯和晚飯味道一般性。和自費單點有點差距（我們第二天中午有自費單點，味道很好）。
房間門口有個小院子，房間裏衞生也不錯。但是沒有小冰箱，對這個價位來説略欠缺。洗澡水是電熱水器，一個人洗完要等半小時第二個人才能洗。
小院裏環境很好，走去玩項目也非常方便。如果要悠閑一點去玩沙坡頭的項目，晚上結束營業以後還可以去門口沙坡那邊玩沙子，住在這裏還是很不錯的選擇。

It rained on the day of arrival. It stopped at around 7 pm. Our family went to the depths of the desert to explore. The feeling of having a presence in the vast desert was great. The children had a great time with their spade, even if they didn't see the starry sky was another feeling. The next day, the weather was fine, we took the hotel's free rented sandboard to the sand slide point in the Jinshahai Scenic Area. You can sand slide for free here, but it is a bit high. The children dare to find a small slope next to them. They will learn it later. Play over and over again, one play until noon. Check out. Eat at the hotel restaurant at noon, the price is right, the portion is very large. I personally think it is better to live in the train. The deluxe standard room is bigger than expected. The car can stop at the door of the room. Other people commented that the toilet smells bad, but the train experience is not a five-star feeling. This is acceptable. It can be closed at night.

GGuest UserThis hotel is the best hotel I have ever stayed in this trip. The environment is in the Tengger Desert. You have to take a taxi to the Zuoqi East Lake Scenic Area first, and then the store will drive an off-road vehicle to take you to their camp. Not far from the road, there is a big goose and a small cat. Wherever you go, the goose will follow, but its call is a bit loud. At night, you can see the stars in the sky! 🏠 Facilities I went to live in the desert tent in mid-to-late October. The temperature was a bit low at night. The face was still cold after plugging in the electric blanket. It is recommended to go before mid-October. It will not be very cold. There are two choices of tents and rooms. The price of the room will be more expensive, but it will not be so cold. The service boss is super good. I will introduce me to eat and play, there is a bonfire party and fireworks in the evening, and I have met some friends here. In short, it is an unforgettable memory, a desert trip for one person!
