Tengger Desert Camp

There was a bonfire party at night, which was very noisy. Communication was useless. I couldn't sleep at all. I booked this place because it was pet-friendly. Although it was okay for pets, it was a disaster for people who go to bed early.

You can't have too high expectations for living in the desert. It's OK. The air conditioner is old and not very effective. There is no service. Breakfast is free, with porridge, steamed buns, flower rolls, boiled eggs, cold dishes, and fried cakes. There is no Chinese food. Generally, guests who come to stay here stay for one day, and they all arrive in the afternoon, so there is no Chinese food. We came from thousands of miles away to shoot the meteor shower, so we booked a room for two days, but we found out on the second day that there was no Chinese food. However, the staff was very good. They made us a tomato scrambled egg and a plate of cold three shreds for them to eat. They charged 70 yuan for two dishes and sent a plate of watermelon. Dinner was more expensive. Three dishes cost 120 yuan per person. We were charged 360 yuan for three adults and one child. The child didn't eat it and ate instant noodles in the room. See the picture below. I thought the camp was in the middle of the desert before, but I didn't expect it to be very close to the highway. If you want to shoot the starry sky, the light pollution is a bit serious. You can bring your children to play in the sand and look at the stars.

We booked 3 rooms and a tent⛺! The desert is very hot during the day and very cool at night! It was a very good experience, especially the bonfire at night, which made the children in the city see something different!
