The stay was fantastic! The living room was simple and cozy, the room was clean and the bedding was soft, making for a super comfortable sleep! The courtyard was charming, quaint and peaceful, and definitely worth a return visit!

Three years ago, when I visited Zhenyuan, the He Family Compound had a locked door. The tour guide described it as the residence of a wealthy family in ancient times. This year, on my second visit to Zhenyuan, I stumbled upon this inn, which had been converted into a hotel. I brought my friends to stay there, experiencing the traces of time left in the old house, and they all found it a truly novel experience. The hotel is very new, I heard it's still in its soft opening phase. The exterior of the old house has been preserved, and the interior design is designed to fit in with the style of the old house, creating a seamless experience. The staff was very attentive, pointing out nearby parking and meeting us at the Xinda Bridge to help with our luggage. The manager even offered to upgrade our room. Unfortunately, since the hotel was new, the room smelled a bit strong, so we decided to leave after just one night. While it was a bit disappointing, the flaws outweighed the advantages, and I highly recommend staying here.
