Hotels in Jinshan Temple Area, Zhenjiang

I went on a spontaneous trip with my wife. I chose Crowne Plaza at first sight on Ctrip. The location is excellent, facing the beautiful scenery of Jinshan Lake. It takes ten minutes to walk to the right to Beigushan Mountain, and ten minutes to drive to the left to Xijindu and Jinshan Temple. The river view room is spacious and comfortable. It is quite pleasant to soak in the bathtub while looking at the river view. There are also USB and type-c fast charging ports in the room. The hotel's breakfast is Chinese style and I like it very much. It is a very satisfactory accommodation experience. I will choose here next time I come to Zhenjiang

Zhenjiang is my father's hometown. I once passed by on a business trip in the late 1990s. I remember that time I only visited Jinshan Temple. So this time I came to Zhenjiang after retirement. I read the Zhenjiang travel guide on Xiaohongshu, which recommended staying in hotels in the Xijindu area. So I searched on Ctrip and found that there were many hotels with good locations in Xijindu, and it was almost difficult to choose. After comprehensive consideration, I chose Shuxiang Xinbo Hotel. Among the hotels with a rating of 4.5 or above, I prefer the design style of the hotel, which is a combination of traditional and new designs. I was just worried that there would be no parking spaces for self-driving tours (the reviews said that there were few parking spaces at the door), so I contacted the hotel in advance to confirm the parking spaces. They said that there were still parking spaces at the door, and the hotel had another parking lot nearby, so there was no need to worry. Fortunately, we were able to park at the door for the two nights we stayed. Probably because of the off-season, I booked a double bed room, and the hotel upgraded it to a suite for free, with an elevator (the hotel was renovated from an old house in the Republic of China, and the building is about 4 or 5 floors high). The suite has a living room + cloakroom + standard king-size bed room. The space is relatively large and clean. The 2-meter-wide bed has good bedding, soft and comfortable, very nice. In addition to the standard toiletries, the bathroom is also equipped with a bathtub film. This is the only one we have seen in the multiple hotels we have stayed in since we drove all the way from Guangzhou. For this reason, this is also the only time we dare to take a bath in the bathtub in the hotel to relieve fatigue. The plastic slippers in the room need to be called to the front desk (this is the experience gained from this self-driving tour). The little robot will send the slippers up and will notify by phone. It is silent when walking and does not disturb people. It is very cute. Looking at the comments, there are criticisms about the electric control switch in the room. Sure enough, the design of the electric control switch is too alternative and niche, and the operation is not intuitive. You can only grope for the buttons. It feels that it is not suitable for hotel use, especially for the elderly. However, the switch is a small flaw and has little impact. Overall, the hotel experience is still very good and cost-effective.

It must be highly praised, the price/performance ratio is too high, the software and hardware are not inferior to four-star hotels, and some items are even better than four-star hotels! First of all, the location is great. It is close to Zhenjiang High-speed Railway Station and within the Wanda Plaza neighborhood. This is a combination rarely seen in other cities! It is both convenient for travel and convenient for life. The price should be quite high for this location, but I didn't expect the price to be very comfortable. The front desk manager was warm and cheerful. It turned out that he was a fellow employee and he even gave us breakfast! Entering the room, the large glass windows and spacious house design make it bright and comfortable! The following items are even better than four stars, tea and coffee! The tea bag is not powdered tea leaves but a combination of whole tea leaves and osmanthus, and the coffee is hanging ear coffee. The taste is great and worth repurchasing on Taobao. The hotel's attentiveness can be seen in all the services and details. It will be your best choice next time you come to Zhenjiang!

Walking distance from railway station and has many restaurants and convenience shops nearby. Staffs were friendly and enjoyed good weekend family trip in Zhenjiang.

The place is not so bad, it’s in a good location close to many good places, but they must really work on improving their hygiene… under the bed was dusty yet the bed in a corner I was suffocating

Great hotel with good amenities. Not far from downtown fun. Breakfast was good & hot. Staff was super helpful friendly & professional. Shower and bathroom had more than enough room (a pet peeve of mine is a tiny bathroom). Overall, I would definitely recommend this hotel to a friend. Great deal for the price

The hotel environment is excellent, very quiet, just at the foot of Yuntai Mountain, very close to Xijindu, only about 3 minutes, there is also a Boxian Park nearby, there is a coffee shop on a small mountain road next to the hotel, although it is not easy to find from the outside, but it is a popular check-in shop, the seats are quite tight, from there continue to climb up the mountain road to reach the highest point Yuntai Pavilion, you can also go to Boxian Park. The hotel facilities should be said to be quite good, but the air conditioning in the room we stayed in was not ideal. The hotel's breakfast is quite rich, with both Chinese and Western food. The hotel parking lot is also quite large, in addition, I saw a lot of cars parked on a small road outside the hotel

The hotel should have a bit of history, but the service is very good and considerate, giving people a home away from home feeling! The welcoming attitude at the door is very good, as the hotel facade is worthy of praise! The front desk upgraded the room for free, and sent fruits, snacks, and Tremella porridge after check-in. The children felt very happy! The breakfast is also good, and the price-performance ratio is relatively high! Recommended, worth staying!

This was one of the worse stays, and definitely not up to five-star standards. Hardware: The room is very small, there is very little furniture in the room, there is no refrigerator, no bathtub, the curtains are not electric, there are few light switches and their positions are inexplicable, there is no main sleep switch, the night light can never be turned off and turns on when turning over in bed. The bathroom layout is really average. Facilities: There are no self-service vending machines, the supermarket is closed at night, there is no underground parking lot, and the parking lot is not monitored. Buffet: There are very few types, the Western pastry is not fresh, the Chinese dim sum is not good, the vegetables taste okay, the coffee machine is either out of beans or out of water, the orange juice is the Huiyuan type that is not freshly squeezed and is always empty. Service: I couldn't find a place to buy water at night, so the front desk offered to open a supermarket nearby. Therefore, the service is probably the only highlight. Environment: The surrounding scenery is pretty good, and you can hear frogs chirping at night.

It feels more suitable for self-driving living, and the surrounding environment is good. The room was upgraded for free, with large floor-to-ceiling windows and a wide view. When I checked in, I casually asked if I would check out before 12 o'clock the next day. The reply was yes. If there is a demand, it can be extended to 2 pm for free. Later, I received a notice from Trip.com that it had been extended to 2 o'clock to check out. Although there was no actual demand, I left early, and I still liked it. There are many fun places in Zhenjiang, and I was fortunate to see the sunset in Jinshan.
