I took my children to Zhenjiang for an outing on the weekend. The hotel is very close to Zhenjiang Station and a taxi costs 10 yuan. There is a popular street next to the hotel, with many snack bars. It is very close to Xijindu Scenic Spot and Zhenjiang Museum. The location is really good. The internal environment of the hotel is very good and quiet. The staff is also very enthusiastic. The housekeeper Chen Chen is very responsible. He will contact in advance to provide some strategies and tips. He will also prepare small surprises for the children when they check in. It was a very good experience and I will choose to stay next time.

This is our first time to Zhenjiang. This hotel is within 10 minutes taxi ride from Zhenjiang railway station. On 27 Dec 2023, we arrived late at night and all the shops nearby the hotel have already closed. So, no dinner. The reception staff, Fang Rong and 张师傅, took good care of us by offering snacks and carried our luggage into the room. The hotel’s location and environment are fantastic! It is located at Xijindu ancient street where you can stroll along the ancient street. The museum and old British consulate are within walking distance from the hotel, through the ancient street, past a 观音 cave. Another tourist spot, Jinshan 金山 is also within 20 minutes walk from the hotel. The hotel’s breakfast is delicious and good value for money. The hotel’s room is very clean, very comfortable and very nice. The hotel’s staff Steven is friendly, helpful and very knowledgeable about the area. Upon check out, we got a small trinket as souvenir. I had a pleasant stay and will definitely choose this hotel again. Thank you all for the outstanding service and warm hospitality during our stay.

I slept until 10am and thought I missed the hotel breakfast, so I called the front desk. I didn't expect that breakfast could be delivered to the room at 10:30! So thoughtful! The preparation was very attentive, please see the photo~ It was a really big bowl of noodles! Super rich! Better than eating out! The auntie who delivered the food was super nice, smiling and cute! On weekends, I took my parents to Zhenjiang to travel and stayed at the Shuxiang Mansion Hotel. This hotel is located in Xijindu, the historical ancient street of Zhenjiang, very close to the famous ”three mountains” (Jinshan, Jiaoshan, Beigushan), and it is very convenient to travel. The rooms of the Shuxiang Mansion Hotel are distributed in Bao's Qianzhuang and Yuntai Building built during the Republic of China. His breakfast is a set meal for one person (one person, one bowl of pot noodles + a crab powder cage, a fresh meat cage, a vegetable bag, a braised egg and meat, noodles and small cage are all cooked and steamed) + semi-self-service form, fruit, salad, bread coffee, small pickles, millet porridge. The hotel room is not only in place, but also the service is very warm and can be reflected in the details. Guests check in, the service staff carries the luggage to the room for the guests, informs the facilities in detail, and the welcome fruit is placed early in the room. In addition, the freshly burned white fungus will be delivered at night, making people feel at home.

The location is quite good, at the east gate of Xijindu, the back door of the hotel is directly connected to Xijindu, and it is convenient to take a taxi. It is very convenient to go to Jinshan Beigushan Jiaoshan. It is also very close to the train station. The hotel has a parking lot and is suitable for self-driving.

The proprietress is very good. She will tell the route and precautions in advance before check-in. The room is very clean and the daily needs are prepared. The cats and dogs at home have very good personalities and are very cute.

Hotel was okay, but we didn’t have the window, and lights were not to bright. We were staying just 1 night, but if you wanna stay for long term, check the room with windows :) it was not too far from the railway station, and closed to the place have a lot of places that you can visit
