I enjoyed my stay. The staff at the hotel are very friendly. The rooms are exquisite , big and clean. They have nice outdoor space where you can chill and relax. They also do have a bar with affordable variety of drinks.It is located near a scenic area and it’s very beautiful at night. Good affordable breakfast buffet at the hotel and very close to the railway station and wanda mall. I will definitely go back!

The hotel was in a great location, very close to most of the major attractions. The room was clean and quiet. The staff was friendly and helpful. It does help a lot of you can speak some Chinese. The food was just above average but good enough. If I return to Zhenjiang, I will stay at this hotel again.

We plan to spend 2 nights in Zhenjiang and actually would like to stay in 2 hotels but we found the room is nice and the staff are very friendly. So, we decided to stay one more night. The receptionist, Ms. Li took a good care of us and very polite. We are happy and recommend this hotel to anyone who is looking for a good place with convenient location to stay in Zhenjiang.

Zhenjiang is my father's hometown. I once passed by on a business trip in the late 1990s. I remember that time I only visited Jinshan Temple. So this time I came to Zhenjiang after retirement. I read the Zhenjiang travel guide on Xiaohongshu, which recommended staying in hotels in the Xijindu area. So I searched on Ctrip and found that there were many hotels with good locations in Xijindu, and it was almost difficult to choose. After comprehensive consideration, I chose Shuxiang Xinbo Hotel. Among the hotels with a rating of 4.5 or above, I prefer the design style of the hotel, which is a combination of traditional and new designs. I was just worried that there would be no parking spaces for self-driving tours (the reviews said that there were few parking spaces at the door), so I contacted the hotel in advance to confirm the parking spaces. They said that there were still parking spaces at the door, and the hotel had another parking lot nearby, so there was no need to worry. Fortunately, we were able to park at the door for the two nights we stayed. Probably because of the off-season, I booked a double bed room, and the hotel upgraded it to a suite for free, with an elevator (the hotel was renovated from an old house in the Republic of China, and the building is about 4 or 5 floors high). The suite has a living room + cloakroom + standard king-size bed room. The space is relatively large and clean. The 2-meter-wide bed has good bedding, soft and comfortable, very nice. In addition to the standard toiletries, the bathroom is also equipped with a bathtub film. This is the only one we have seen in the multiple hotels we have stayed in since we drove all the way from Guangzhou. For this reason, this is also the only time we dare to take a bath in the bathtub in the hotel to relieve fatigue. The plastic slippers in the room need to be called to the front desk (this is the experience gained from this self-driving tour). The little robot will send the slippers up and will notify by phone. It is silent when walking and does not disturb people. It is very cute. Looking at the comments, there are criticisms about the electric control switch in the room. Sure enough, the design of the electric control switch is too alternative and niche, and the operation is not intuitive. You can only grope for the buttons. It feels that it is not suitable for hotel use, especially for the elderly. However, the switch is a small flaw and has little impact. Overall, the hotel experience is still very good and cost-effective.

Very good! The May Day promotion price is really good! It's right next to Xijindu, so it's super convenient to go to various scenic spots! The room is large and quiet. You can only enter the building by swiping your card, which is very safe. We stayed in Building 1, the innermost, hahaha! The mountain elevator is very interesting. I will stay here again next time I come to Zhenjiang. The parking lot is a bit far away, just navigate to the Shuxiang Mansion parking lot, and the parking space at the door depends on luck.

All the room locks are broken and not repaired? It took several times to repair it. 2 Power outage: During the four days I stayed, the whole house lost power three times, and one time was during the shower. Aren't you afraid of scaring the guests? The switches of the lights in the room are all electronic buttons, not physical buttons. There are names like Orange and Paris on them, and there are no notes on which lights are specifically controlled. Let the guests try it themselves? It is better not to do imperfect intelligence. 3 TV: When the TV is turned on, it is a blue screen, and you need to manually turn on the infrared to make the smart TV appear. For such a process problem, why don't you just give paper instructions? Every time the guests have to call and ask? 4. Phone: The phone in my parents' room was broken. I couldn't call the front desk at first. After it was fixed once, I still couldn't call other rooms. 5. Temperature: This is the most fatal problem. The front desk told me that the air conditioner in the room can neither cool nor heat, and can only rely on natural temperature. The room was always at 20-22 degrees at night on May Day. The temperature in the south is very cold. I caught a cold the next night. A hotel can't even provide a comfortable temperature. I have to wear a coat to keep warm in the room. The hotel is located on Boxian Road, not far from Boxian Park and next to Zhenjiang Museum. It is built on the mountain and consists of several small buildings. There is a single escalator to the lobby and each small building. The room has a distant view of Zhenjiang and Yangzhou. Turn left and you will enter the Xijindu Historical and Cultural District, which has a sense of age. I feel that Xijindu is the most worthwhile place to visit in Zhenjiang. A souvenir was also given when checking out.
