Zhenjiang Hotels with Gym

This time I stayed at this hotel, and the service of the hotel front desk left me with a very deep impression. As soon as we stepped into the hotel, Amy, the front desk staff, greeted us with a warm smile. That smile was sincere and kind, and instantly dispelled our travel fatigue. When checking in, the staff was very efficient, skillfully operated the computer system, and quickly confirmed our reservation information and assigned rooms for us. At the same time, they also introduced the hotel's facilities in detail, including the location and time of breakfast, the opening hours of the gym and swimming pool, and how to use Wi-Fi. Checking out was also efficient and convenient. Ctrip housekeepers Yoyo and Doris were very attentive and asked if there were any inconsiderate aspects of our stay. This attitude of treating guests with care highlights the hotel's high-quality service concept. Here, the front desk is like the hotel's business card. With their excellent service, they made our entire stay comfortable and memorable.

All good except the room service, which I was forced to use, as I had to work late from my room. Ordering was not at all simple (having not spotted the QR code notice on the fridge work top. But response was swift, so too was delivery of the order. However, the ”Ceasar Salad” was sorrowful! Lettuce leaves awash in some sort of watery white fluid, with no discernable taste, some croutons and a few pieces of dried bacon. Especially disappointing given how lovely the fruit and vegetables are most of the time in China. Main course ”Lemon and Herb Chicken” should have been listed as ”Lemon and Herb Skin and Bones”!!! There was virtually NO actual chicken meat. Roated tomatoes and asparagus were lovely, Dessert was uninspiring, but compared to the salad and main course for sure the best course. The Wine? Completely undrinkable. Opened, poured a small amount to taste, spoilt. It happens, sadly! Would be a good idea to open the wine to test before serving

Zhenjiang is my father's hometown. I once passed by on a business trip in the late 1990s. I remember that time I only visited Jinshan Temple. So this time I came to Zhenjiang after retirement. I read the Zhenjiang travel guide on Xiaohongshu, which recommended staying in hotels in the Xijindu area. So I searched on Ctrip and found that there were many hotels with good locations in Xijindu, and it was almost difficult to choose. After comprehensive consideration, I chose Shuxiang Xinbo Hotel. Among the hotels with a rating of 4.5 or above, I prefer the design style of the hotel, which is a combination of traditional and new designs. I was just worried that there would be no parking spaces for self-driving tours (the reviews said that there were few parking spaces at the door), so I contacted the hotel in advance to confirm the parking spaces. They said that there were still parking spaces at the door, and the hotel had another parking lot nearby, so there was no need to worry. Fortunately, we were able to park at the door for the two nights we stayed. Probably because of the off-season, I booked a double bed room, and the hotel upgraded it to a suite for free, with an elevator (the hotel was renovated from an old house in the Republic of China, and the building is about 4 or 5 floors high). The suite has a living room + cloakroom + standard king-size bed room. The space is relatively large and clean. The 2-meter-wide bed has good bedding, soft and comfortable, very nice. In addition to the standard toiletries, the bathroom is also equipped with a bathtub film. This is the only one we have seen in the multiple hotels we have stayed in since we drove all the way from Guangzhou. For this reason, this is also the only time we dare to take a bath in the bathtub in the hotel to relieve fatigue. The plastic slippers in the room need to be called to the front desk (this is the experience gained from this self-driving tour). The little robot will send the slippers up and will notify by phone. It is silent when walking and does not disturb people. It is very cute. Looking at the comments, there are criticisms about the electric control switch in the room. Sure enough, the design of the electric control switch is too alternative and niche, and the operation is not intuitive. You can only grope for the buttons. It feels that it is not suitable for hotel use, especially for the elderly. However, the switch is a small flaw and has little impact. Overall, the hotel experience is still very good and cost-effective.

It must be highly praised, the price/performance ratio is too high, the software and hardware are not inferior to four-star hotels, and some items are even better than four-star hotels! First of all, the location is great. It is close to Zhenjiang High-speed Railway Station and within the Wanda Plaza neighborhood. This is a combination rarely seen in other cities! It is both convenient for travel and convenient for life. The price should be quite high for this location, but I didn't expect the price to be very comfortable. The front desk manager was warm and cheerful. It turned out that he was a fellow employee and he even gave us breakfast! Entering the room, the large glass windows and spacious house design make it bright and comfortable! The following items are even better than four stars, tea and coffee! The tea bag is not powdered tea leaves but a combination of whole tea leaves and osmanthus, and the coffee is hanging ear coffee. The taste is great and worth repurchasing on Taobao. The hotel's attentiveness can be seen in all the services and details. It will be your best choice next time you come to Zhenjiang!

Walking distance from railway station and has many restaurants and convenience shops nearby. Staffs were friendly and enjoyed good weekend family trip in Zhenjiang.

I'm usually too lazy to write reviews, but today I feel like writing a review to praise this hotel! The hotel is not big, but has a good location. It's opposite Beigu Mountain and the Binjiang Trail. The parking lot has a State Grid charging pile, which is very convenient. The facilities are not old and the decoration is warm. The breakfast can meet the needs. I especially praise the service. The super five-star service is delightful. Because the family traveled and left a message, I called to communicate a few days before check-in. Every service staff greeted me warmly when they arrived at the store. They also surprisingly upgraded the family room, which is very large and comfortable. The lobby will take the initiative to ask the children if they want marshmallows and popcorn. Snacks, mineral water and children's equipment are provided when checking in. This is the first time I have encountered 5 bottles of mineral water with 2 bottles provided as standard. It is enough and very considerate. It was a great stay experience!

Great hotel with good amenities. Not far from downtown fun. Breakfast was good & hot. Staff was super helpful friendly & professional. Shower and bathroom had more than enough room (a pet peeve of mine is a tiny bathroom). Overall, I would definitely recommend this hotel to a friend. Great deal for the price

Uniquely designed, feels very western. Staff was great and had advanced knowledge of English. Beds were so comfy. Lots of shops and restaurants south of the building. Wifi was fast. Windows we’re big. Only thing I didn’t like was the breakfast hawker outside of the lobby. It was so loud and violent that I thought it was a demonstration lol. I have the feeling that this is a daily occurrence so if you don’t want to hear yelling and banging pans for an hour every morning request a room on the east side. Even still, this place is fantastic and I recommend it

The hotel service is very good. Before checking in, the hotel housekeeper (here I would like to praise Xiao Lu, Lu Chenye) sent us travel tips and food recommendations, so we didn't have to think about how to play or where to eat. After checking in, there were also service staff to guide us to the room and help with luggage, etc., which was really considerate. The environment in the room is even better, spacious and comfortable, and it also has a small balcony where you can see the scenery inside the hotel. The Chinese restaurant on the second floor of the main building is also very good, the dishes are light and delicious, and the portions are large! The whole stay experience is very comfortable, great!

The hotel should have a bit of history, but the service is very good and considerate, giving people a home away from home feeling! The welcoming attitude at the door is very good, as the hotel facade is worthy of praise! The front desk upgraded the room for free, and sent fruits, snacks, and Tremella porridge after check-in. The children felt very happy! The breakfast is also good, and the price-performance ratio is relatively high! Recommended, worth staying!
