Zhenjiang Hotels with Breakfast

During my stay at this hotel, I was deeply impressed by the excellent service of the front desk staff, which made the whole journey more colorful. As soon as I entered the hotel lobby, Yoyo and Zoey at the front desk greeted me warmly at the same time. Their eyes met with sincerity, which instantly dispelled my travel fatigue. When checking in, the procedures were smooth and skillful, and every detail was introduced clearly. They also took the initiative to plan the surrounding scenic spots for me, a newcomer. The markings on the hand-drawn map were meticulous, and the recommended niche food stores were even more unique. The delicious food depended on this thoughtful guidance. When I encountered a temporary change in the itinerary and needed to extend my stay, Larry at the front desk was calm and patient during the phone communication. He quickly checked the room and coordinated the arrangements. He gave a perfect solution in a short while, and carefully asked if he needed to help adjust other itinerary arrangements. The one-stop care was so thoughtful. It was peak time when checking out. There were many people but no panic. They settled the bill in an orderly manner, and did not forget to remind me of the lost items. When helping to call a taxi, they also specifically asked the driver to choose the most unobstructed route to the airport. From arrival to departure, the front desk staff responded to everything and took care of everything. Such enthusiasm and professionalism deserve endless praise. I will definitely choose this place next time I travel!

All good except the room service, which I was forced to use, as I had to work late from my room. Ordering was not at all simple (having not spotted the QR code notice on the fridge work top. But response was swift, so too was delivery of the order. However, the ”Ceasar Salad” was sorrowful! Lettuce leaves awash in some sort of watery white fluid, with no discernable taste, some croutons and a few pieces of dried bacon. Especially disappointing given how lovely the fruit and vegetables are most of the time in China. Main course ”Lemon and Herb Chicken” should have been listed as ”Lemon and Herb Skin and Bones”!!! There was virtually NO actual chicken meat. Roated tomatoes and asparagus were lovely, Dessert was uninspiring, but compared to the salad and main course for sure the best course. The Wine? Completely undrinkable. Opened, poured a small amount to taste, spoilt. It happens, sadly! Would be a good idea to open the wine to test before serving

Zhenjiang is my father's hometown. I once passed by on a business trip in the late 1990s. I remember that time I only visited Jinshan Temple. So this time I came to Zhenjiang after retirement. I read the Zhenjiang travel guide on Xiaohongshu, which recommended staying in hotels in the Xijindu area. So I searched on Ctrip and found that there were many hotels with good locations in Xijindu, and it was almost difficult to choose. After comprehensive consideration, I chose Shuxiang Xinbo Hotel. Among the hotels with a rating of 4.5 or above, I prefer the design style of the hotel, which is a combination of traditional and new designs. I was just worried that there would be no parking spaces for self-driving tours (the reviews said that there were few parking spaces at the door), so I contacted the hotel in advance to confirm the parking spaces. They said that there were still parking spaces at the door, and the hotel had another parking lot nearby, so there was no need to worry. Fortunately, we were able to park at the door for the two nights we stayed. Probably because of the off-season, I booked a double bed room, and the hotel upgraded it to a suite for free, with an elevator (the hotel was renovated from an old house in the Republic of China, and the building is about 4 or 5 floors high). The suite has a living room + cloakroom + standard king-size bed room. The space is relatively large and clean. The 2-meter-wide bed has good bedding, soft and comfortable, very nice. In addition to the standard toiletries, the bathroom is also equipped with a bathtub film. This is the only one we have seen in the multiple hotels we have stayed in since we drove all the way from Guangzhou. For this reason, this is also the only time we dare to take a bath in the bathtub in the hotel to relieve fatigue. The plastic slippers in the room need to be called to the front desk (this is the experience gained from this self-driving tour). The little robot will send the slippers up and will notify by phone. It is silent when walking and does not disturb people. It is very cute. Looking at the comments, there are criticisms about the electric control switch in the room. Sure enough, the design of the electric control switch is too alternative and niche, and the operation is not intuitive. You can only grope for the buttons. It feels that it is not suitable for hotel use, especially for the elderly. However, the switch is a small flaw and has little impact. Overall, the hotel experience is still very good and cost-effective.

It must be highly praised, the price/performance ratio is too high, the software and hardware are not inferior to four-star hotels, and some items are even better than four-star hotels! First of all, the location is great. It is close to Zhenjiang High-speed Railway Station and within the Wanda Plaza neighborhood. This is a combination rarely seen in other cities! It is both convenient for travel and convenient for life. The price should be quite high for this location, but I didn't expect the price to be very comfortable. The front desk manager was warm and cheerful. It turned out that he was a fellow employee and he even gave us breakfast! Entering the room, the large glass windows and spacious house design make it bright and comfortable! The following items are even better than four stars, tea and coffee! The tea bag is not powdered tea leaves but a combination of whole tea leaves and osmanthus, and the coffee is hanging ear coffee. The taste is great and worth repurchasing on Taobao. The hotel's attentiveness can be seen in all the services and details. It will be your best choice next time you come to Zhenjiang!

The location of the hotel is excellent! Walking distance from the train station and many restaurants and stores in the area. The breakfast was really delicious and the variety was a good balance between western and Chinese. The rooms were a little small considering the price, but they were very clean. There was a problem with the AC system, because the settings could not be changed from heat, and we were getting extremely hot. The bed was so comfortable. It made us want to sleep so long. The front desk clerk was not very friendly or welcoming. He kept coughing and therefore was a bit hasty to check us in. Overall, I would say the stay was enjoyable purely for a few amenities, and I would recommend the hotel, but not for a long stay.

The service staff are more enthusiastic and professional, especially Manager Tang: Thank you! The hotel facilities are complete: the environment is elegant! The service attitude is very satisfactory, the transportation is convenient and fast, and the vehicles are parked! Humanized! In the evening, you can visit the riverside of the park, and you can also take a walk on the Neijiang River. The air is fresh and comfortable. You can travel by yourself during the Spring Festival. You can play Zhenjiang Sanshan Park during the day. The scenery is beautiful and unique. Business and leisure vacations are very good choices.

Good service and good location. Clean room . AC is not too good in bedroom . Paper cups. It’s good for short stay . They need to clarify check in and check out times because app details are different to what staff say.

Great hotel with good amenities. Not far from downtown fun. Breakfast was good & hot. Staff was super helpful friendly & professional. Shower and bathroom had more than enough room (a pet peeve of mine is a tiny bathroom). Overall, I would definitely recommend this hotel to a friend. Great deal for the price

The hotel service is very good. Before checking in, the hotel housekeeper (here I would like to praise Xiao Lu, Lu Chenye) sent us travel tips and food recommendations, so we didn't have to think about how to play or where to eat. After checking in, there were also service staff to guide us to the room and help with luggage, etc., which was really considerate. The environment in the room is even better, spacious and comfortable, and it also has a small balcony where you can see the scenery inside the hotel. The Chinese restaurant on the second floor of the main building is also very good, the dishes are light and delicious, and the portions are large! The whole stay experience is very comfortable, great!

The hotel should have a bit of history, but the service is very good and considerate, giving people a home away from home feeling! The welcoming attitude at the door is very good, as the hotel facade is worthy of praise! The front desk upgraded the room for free, and sent fruits, snacks, and Tremella porridge after check-in. The children felt very happy! The breakfast is also good, and the price-performance ratio is relatively high! Recommended, worth staying!
