David City mall is conveniently located right downstairs, offering a diverse array of shops and restaurants to suit all budgets, making dining and entertainment incredibly accessible. There's also a small gate from the hotel that leads directly into People's Park, just a few steps away. While the park is quite large with rich vegetation, it offers limited recreational activities. * **Excellent Service:** Hotel service is outstanding. Dedicated staff provide comprehensive assistance from pre-check-in to post-check-out. When guests head out for sightseeing, staff at the entrance proactively offer bottled water. Areas for Improvement: * **Room Odor:** Upon entering the room, there was a noticeable lingering smell of wood paneling or new furniture.

The hotel's location is excellent, just a 10-minute walk from the East Station. However, walking there in summer can be uncomfortably hot. While the hotel is a bit dated for a Holiday Inn Express, the rooms are surprisingly spacious, though some of the fixtures and fittings are quite old. The breakfast, however, is a significant cut above other Holiday Inn Express locations, though it gets incredibly crowded during peak hours, making it difficult to find a seat. The hotel's immediate surroundings also present some significant drawbacks. South-facing rooms directly face a shopping mall under renovation, and the mall across the street seems to be constantly either receiving deliveries or disposing of trash. To top it off, the road right in front of the hotel is a one-way street. These external factors are indeed quite problematic. Fortunately, the hotel staff are all very attentive, and any issues or feedback are promptly addressed. The hotel is also reasonably priced, making it a worthwhile stay despite its drawbacks.

The room was very nice but too cold. We asked the hotel to get a blanket and they gave us a mobile heater which worked fine. The breakfast buffet has a lot of variety only on Sunday when it was very full, the hotel didn't fill up the empty food even when it was still 45 minutes before the end. The service was very attentive with drinks and the dirty dishes. On the second morning, we left for breakfast with ”please don't disturb” on the room but the room service came in and cleaned the room. It's a good service but the staff should respect the guest's decision about entering the room.

The service, especially from the ladies at the reception was excellent, the room large and nice. The location is very separated, it's far to go to find a food shop or a restaurant. The VIP-Club had excellent food and very friendly and helpful people. The restaurant downstairs confirmed my bad experiences with Sofitel restaurants.

The Zhengzhou Greenland Marriott truly masters convenience! Located right within the exhibition center, attending expos or meetings is just a few steps away, so there's absolutely no need to rush. My room's large windows directly faced Ruyi Lake, and the night view was particularly stunning. The bed was incredibly comfortable, ensuring a good night's sleep, and the bathroom area was spotless and refreshing. For breakfast, there was a great spread, from freshly prepared noodles to Western pastries, and the service staff were incredibly prompt and responsive. Highly recommended for business trips; it's both hassle-free and comfortable.

Overall good hotel however the midnight snack is a bit deceiving as they did not provide much food. The auntie Guo ShuFen is very nice and provided us with lots of tea and water. Thank you!
