This negative review is from a hotel I found myself. I've highlighted the key points. I don't recommend staying here. The experience and service are subpar, and the breakfast is even worse. If you're looking to get ripped off, ignore what I said. No wonder most of the negative reviews for this hotel come from Diamond members and above. Diamond members and above typically spend tens of thousands of yuan on hotels, so only those reviews are genuine. Also, the so-called service manager has been replaced; he's useless and unworthy of his position. First, I paid 237 yuan to book (I could have canceled and booked a higher-class room upon check-in). Then, when I saw the price was 195 yuan, I didn't cancel and rebook, figuring I had the upgrade privilege and wouldn't have to worry about the extra few bucks. At check-in, the hotel assigned me room 713, which was smelly and had a lumpy floor. I went downstairs and was moved to room 705, which was exactly like a Premium King Room. They told me I was upgraded? The bed was upgraded from 1.51 meters to 1.8 meters... So, how big is the bed in the Premium Room picture? The room I stayed in was exactly like the one in the picture. I've stayed in so many hotels, but this is the first time I've encountered such a deplorable experience. The service is lacking, and there's no one there who can handle things. Or is it that the service manager is useless? Don't be so embarrassing by hanging up in the elevator. In the end, I spent 237 for a room originally priced at 195, and I didn't get an upgrade. Don't tell me different prices for different phones. Don't even bother explaining your nightly sales and promotions? It's just a time difference. In summary, I suggest comparing the user weighting of negative reviews. They're all highly rated Diamond, Park Diamond, Black Diamond, and other reviews that are deeply rooted in user reviews. Location, cleanliness, and service are all poor. Look at other hotels. Zhaoqing is great. I won't be back.
