該酒店比較有年代了，房間設施比較舊，好在衞生尚可，送了迎賓水果。停車場比較大，適合自駕。酒店離霞山區天主教堂、法國公使署、海濱公園、漁人碼頭比較近，走路去就可以了，這些地方都不好停車。海景房可以看到海，但距離有點遠。

非常好的一次入住體驗，前台服務熱情，房間衞生還不錯，環境好較安靜，賓館有好大院子停車方便，訂的是特價房總監免費升級房型並且贈送水果等，退房前台主動贈送飲料[強][強][強]性價比高，值得推薦入住。

房間寬敞乾淨，環境幽雅，一面可見海邊，另一面對面是小學校，白天熱鬧晚上安靜。出門步行幾分鐘就能到達海濱公園和海邊。

賓館就在海濱公園旁邊，在房間就可以看到大海。地理位置很好，停車方便，自助早餐品種豐富，設施齊全，前台小姐姐態度非常好。

首先，酒店位於一片老舊的城區，不過附近因此也會有些法國殖民時代的舊址，也離海濱較近，但周邊環境着實破敗。其次，酒店設施陳舊，軍改前，屬於部隊資產，軍是軍企是企後，應該説，設施不斷老化，但維修或裝修卻沒跟上，比如説衞生間通風、照明、鏡前燈，睡覺的時候無論怎麼都關不掉，因此亮了一個晚上睡覺。再次，服務態度除了前台比較冷冰外，其他人員還可以，比如入住後很快就有阿姨送水果進來，吹風機壞了，和前台説明後，也很快有人送了可以用的過來。第四，房間燈光很暗，照明不夠，如果晚上想辦公，恐怕費視力。第五，相對於服務和設施，三百多的標準雙床，還是太貴了，因此，入住的以老年團為主。第六，正因為是為軍酒店，現役150一間，退役也能比社會價格便宜幾十，這是應該鼓勵，點讚的。至於標間以外的其他房型，現役一般打五折。綜上，最大的問題在於老舊但價格卻偏高。

酒店在湛江霞山區地段不錯，出門沒幾步就是觀海長廊，可以和朋友放風箏散步。性價比很高，含兩個早餐真的很划算，下次來試試早茶，看到好多爺爺奶奶在喝，應該口味很不錯～～
