I wanted to visit Zhangzhou Ancient City. I searched for a long time on Ctrip.com and finally decided to choose this hotel. The hardware facilities are OK. The hotel is large, the elevator is fast, and there is a mid-to-high-end restaurant at the door. However, the security measures are not good, and anyone can take the elevator to each floor. The front desk staff was cold and indifferent, which started to feel strange. After all, the front desk staff of the hotel were very good and had a smile on their faces. I didn't expect that the front desk of this hotel would feel like they owed it money and even asked for a deposit. If you book a room on Ctrip, they won't ask for a deposit in recent years. When I checked out the next day, a woman in a white shirt seemed to be helping at the front desk. She looked very bitter and resentful, which made me very uncomfortable. When I arrived at the hotel, I was very hungry, they used to have a menu for the room service in the room, now it was gone, I had to call them to ask someone to bring the menu to the room. I ordered the food at 10pm, at that time, the selection of items was very limited. Luckily my Chinese is good enough to get by, because almost nobody spoke English there. I understand it’s not mandatory to have a full English speaking staff, but I think at least one person per shift should be able to speak some English in case someone needs it. Another point that needs improvement was the gym. Objects were unorganized, it looked abandoned. Besides all of this, when I come back, I might give this hotel another chance, the rooms are clean, the location is good and I am usually someone who’s loyal to brands.
