"I stayed in January. in the room was very cold. The air conditioning can't be used for heating. The first day was as cold as 17 degrees C. second day, I asked, and the hotel provided a portable heater. After that, was ok."

"I can’t say I’m a frequent guest of this hotel, but I’ve been coming to it for the past 3 years at least once a year. I have to say that I am a bit disappointed with the service. When I arrived at the hotel, I was very hungry, they used to have a menu for the room service in the room, now it was gone, I had to call them to ask someone to bring the menu to the room. I ordered the food at 10pm, at that time, the selection of items was very limited. Luckily my Chinese is good enough to get by, because almost nobody spoke English there. I understand it’s not mandatory to have a full English speaking staff, but I think at least one person per shift should be able to speak some English in case someone needs it. Another point that needs improvement was the gym. Objects were unorganized, it looked abandoned. Besides all of this, when I come back, I might give this hotel another chance, the rooms are clean, the location is good and I am usually someone who’s loyal to brands."

"Upon arriving at the Xiyue Minnan Courtyard Hotel, I was greeted with great hospitality. As I was unfamiliar with the surroundings just after getting off the car, my Driver called the Hotel for assistance. The Hotel is located inside a PEDESTRIAN ZONE. Shortly after the call, Siao Dong came to my drop-off point to help me with my luggage and assisted me to check in. She also carried my Baggage to My Room 2303 at Level 3 as there is no Lift Facility here. I thanked here very much as I would have problems carrying my Baggage as I am over 77 years of age. This Ancient City is truly a wonderful place, and the hotel environment is quite pleasant as well. There are lots of variety of local food and snacks. The Hotel also assisted to book a Group Tour to visit Nanjing Toulou and a Private to Fujian Toulou. Also arranged for my private transport by Car to my Hotel in Xiamen."

"Advantages: 1. The hotel is new, the facilities are new, the quality is high, and there is no odor when staying; 2. The price and accommodation conditions are very cost-effective; 3. If you bring your children with you, you will get a small doll as a gift when you check in; 4. There is a refrigerator for you to bring your own drinks, coffee, tea, and 4 bottles of mineral water are provided free of charge. Shampoo, conditioner, and shower gel are all brand new packaging. Disadvantages: 1. I checked in at 2:50 pm, but the front desk only gave me one room. They explained that the other room could not be cleaned and it would take another hour. Because I booked 2 rooms in full on Ctrip one week in advance, the hotel should have cleaned and reserved the paid rooms in advance, instead of explaining that the cleaning was not done after the guests arrived and making them wait for the rooms. 2. Check-in took too long. It took almost 20 minutes to check in for two rooms. During the check-in process, I was still waiting at the counter when a guest came in and threw a room card in. Finally, I called the front desk and they arranged for the fruit to be delivered. Shouldn't the guest be notified of the fruit delivery as soon as check-in is confirmed? Why do they have to contact us twice? 4. The bathroom trash can has no bag or lid. In a confined space, the odor in the trash can will come out after a long time, which really loses points~ 5. The hotel is newly renovated, and the windows are on the side, so you can only open a small gap. There is a noticeable decoration smell when you sleep at night, and the sour smell of formaldehyde and glue is quite strong 6. The room temperature was 24.5 degrees Celsius that day. Because the room was not ventilated, it was stuffy. As a result, the air conditioner only blew out normal temperature air, and I sweated a lot. However, the heating was normal. 7. Booking a room with buffet breakfast on Ctrip costs an additional 69 yuan per person. As I was not sure about the itinerary at that time, I did not choose breakfast. Later, I went to the store to ask the front desk, and they said I had to pay 128 yuan per person. I said that the Ctrip booking was 69 yuan per person. The front desk changed the words and said that the on-site booking at the front desk would be more than 80 yuan. I asked if they could give me the Ctrip price. The front desk said that the on-site booking would be more than 80 yuan, or you could go out and experience the breakfast in Zhangzhou by yourself. The tone of voice at that time was a bit choking, which made people feel very uncomfortable. PS: I saw many reviews from Ctrip users, some said they received breakfast coupons, and those with children also upgraded their rooms. Unfortunately, I didn’t catch any of them~ In general, the hardware conditions are good, the software services still need to keep up, and the odor from the decoration still needs to be removed~"

The toilet is separated from dry and wet but between the bathroom and the toilet is a glass spacer if it comes with fried it may not be available at the same time should be quite embarrassing. The bathroom had a bathtub however the hotel did not have a disposable bathtub cover so there was no soaking. The only small dissatisfaction was the communication between the hotel departments may have some problems I was told the first night at the front desk when processing the renewal had explained that the next morning did not need to come to clean the room, by the way asked the front desk to bring me two more water. Then the staff came to the door to deliver water asked once, do I need to come in to clean the room tomorrow morning, I said no 😀. Somehow I left early the next morning and returned to my hotel room at night to find someone had come to clean the room. Because I was more concerned, I deliberately handed over that I didn't need someone to clean it. I thought I would wait until I got back to the hotel to ask someone to come and clean things up. I confirmed this with the staff twice, but it didn't work. 🥲 Other than this, everything else was satisfactory, the hotel staff attitude was quite good. The soundproofing is acceptable, occasionally you will hear the sound of the car horn outside, and a little next door opening and closing the sound, and not too noisy. "On the first night of staying at the hotel, my neck and arms were extremely itchy and had rashes. At first I thought it was due to acclimatization or allergies to something I ate. I was itchy for two days after staying there. After returning to Shanghai, I went to the hospital and the result was that I was bitten by bed bugs, also known as bed bugs. I was very depressed. I have been staying at Atour for so many years because of its cleanliness, hygiene and high cost-effectiveness. I hope this hotel can carefully disinfect the mattress and bedding. "Pros: The hotel's location is excellent, right by the river with stunning night views. The ancient town is just a convenient walk across the bridge. The hotel also has a swimming pool and a hot spring area, making it perfect for both adults and children to enjoy water fun. Cons: The hotel's management is quite poor. 1. While dining in the restaurant, staff would abruptly reach over to clear plates or place napkins without any prior acknowledgement or greeting. I found this quite intrusive; a simple 'excuse me' beforehand would have been much appreciated. 2. When cleaning tables, staff simply brushed food scraps directly onto the floor. 3. Food dropped by other guests on the floor was left uncleaned. Even after guests pointed out that it was a slipping hazard, staff failed to address it until we had finished our meal. 4. The swimming pool is also used for lessons, and at times it gets so crowded with students that it's impossible for other guests to swim or simply enjoy the water. 5. Our room had two protruding nails on the floor that could easily injure a child's bare feet. We reported this to the front desk for repair, but upon returning to the room, only one had been fixed. I was too frustrated to complain again, so I just covered it with an item to prevent my child from getting hurt. I sincerely hope the hotel addresses these detailed issues and makes significant improvements."

"Bringing the baby to Zhangzhou for three days and two nights alone, I chose this hotel, the stay experience is very good! Very cost-effective. The location has nothing to say, there are many restaurants at the door, and there are more than a short walk out, all kinds of categories. It is very close to Rainbow and Wuyue, and it takes a few minutes to ride an electric bike. The hotel room is quite big, the bathroom is separated from wet and dry, the air conditioner is very cold, the hot water is big enough and hot enough, the room has a smart butler, and the voice can be controlled. There are two washing machines on the balcony on the third floor, as well as a hand washstand and a table and chairs for people to sit and wait. The front desk and cleaning are very enthusiastic. "This is a very unique and interesting hotel. Take bus A3 from Zhangzhou Railway Station and alight at the last stop and walk about 10mins to reach. Hotel is 3min’s walk the Minnan Normal University闽南师范大学. Hotel staff is extremely friendly. The room was not ready on our arrival. In waiting, they served us a big platter of fruits and desserts. Only set back is we were not given the room we have booked. Special shout out to 吕小布 who went all the way to help us book the tour to Nanjing Tulou. He was extremely helpful and cheerful. Highly recommend this hotel if you want to explore Zhangzhou. Gucheng 古城 and Zhongshan bridge 中山桥 is also within walking distance. Plenty of eateries around the area. Will definitely come back again."

"Very satisfied with the stay... The Narcissus Building was booked, the room is new and spacious... The hardware is good... The toiletries are Zhangzhou-style Pien Tze Huang... I like the taste...
