Zhangjiakou Hotels with Breakfast

I stayed at a nice local hotel conveniently located just a five-minute walk from Fulong Snow Park. While my room was slightly dirty, it wasn't enough for me to raise a complaint; it felt as though the cleaner might have been in a hurry. I attempted to order room service, but unfortunately, no one answered the phone. Breakfast offered a mix of Chinese and Western dishes, but I found it lacking compared to other hotel breakfasts I've experienced. One downside was that there was no way to book tickets for the snow park directly through the hotel. Perhaps there was a method, but it wasn't available in English. At Fulong Snow Park, I encountered difficulties as the English-speaking window had no staff who could assist in English. It was quite challenging to navigate everything. Fortunately, I managed to find an English-speaking ski instructor named Alex, who I highly recommend. Although this is unrelated to the hotel, I felt it was worth mentioning!

Overall, I had a very good experience staying in the hotel this time. Facilities: There is a washing machine in the room that is a washer and dryer, which is very convenient for washing clothes. There is a kettle for boiling hot water and drinking tea bags and coffee, which are all free. There is also a small kitchen and a microwave for heating meals. Hygiene: The auntie cleans very cleanly. If you need to sleep on the sofa, the auntie will also help you make the sofa. Environment: You can see the ski slope from the balcony of the room. It is very convenient to take the elevator from the room to the first floor and go out to the ski slope. The room is next to the five ropes and you can take the cable car back to the room. Service: The hotel has a car to pick up and drop off. There are many types of breakfast. There is a small supermarket next to the front desk for check-in. The front desk employee Sun Yujiao is very enthusiastic and patiently explains the hotel facilities and surrounding environment.

Brilliant location in the heart of Thaiwoo. Walking distance to the slopes. Rooms are very spacious compared to the other hotels around. The breakfast spread is just ok. Will definitely come back.

We chose this hotel since we wanted to go on staycation and this isn't too far from Thaiwoo Ski Resort. We arrived at about 7pm in the hotel and the parking lot was full but some cars were parking beside the hotel's entrance so we just followed them and parked too. We thought it was alright since nobody told us not to. But the next day early in the morning they called us to move our car because it doesn't look good for their hotel and since we aren't morning people we were kinda pissed. They could have told us last night. Although; this thing happened to us, we still think the hotel is nice for staying. Great rooms.

I chose this hotel because it has a sauna & hotspring although it was more expensive than the other hotels, i thought it was okay. Upon arriving at the hotel, sadly we need to pay another 128 RMB per person to use their facilities. I have been to lots of hotels where the use of the hot pool and sauna are already included when booking a room so this is something that shocked me. The hotel is clean but the sofa seems to have bugs. I just sit in their sofa and felt so itchy. Their bed and services are quite good. Location is perfect, near restaurants, convenience store and easy to reach. Breakfast has lots of options.

I had an exam and didn't book a hotel, so Ctrip arranged for me to come here. The environment was very good, the staff was gentle and polite, which made me relax greatly before the exam and relieved the anxiety caused by the long journey. The breakfast was rich and tempting, but unfortunately I didn't eat much because of my bad stomach. I had a little hypoglycemia during the day, and the hotel staff ran a long way to find a big bag of fruit candy for me. It was a very happy experience. I wish the hotel business will be prosperous and better.

❤️A very pleasant winter vacation in March this year. I booked the highly praised Crowne Plaza Cuiyun Mountain from Ctrip. This hotel is adjacent to Cuiyun Mountain Ski Resort, and they also have a ski + accommodation package. ❤️I called the front desk one day in advance. The beautiful receptionist Emily was kind and patient. She took the initiative to give our family of three breakfast coupons and thoughtfully prepared an extra sofa bed for us. And promised to upgrade the lake view room when we arrived at the hotel. ❤️When we arrived at the hotel, it was already evening. The beautiful receptionist at the front desk helped us check in very quickly, explained clearly how to go skiing the next morning, and helped me choose a room with a view of the ski resort. I extended my stay for another day. ❤️I found that the hotel lobby was magnificent, beautiful and warm. ❤️Surprise 1. Drive the car to the underground second-floor garage. It is very convenient to get to the accommodation floor by elevator. The hotel elevator and corridor are very clean. ❤️Surprise 2. When I entered the room, it was very warm, with warm wind blowing on my face (it was minus 4-5 degrees Celsius outside). The room had been arranged with three beds. Although a sofa-style mattress was added, it was a bit hard, but it was very warm and felt like home. (There was a humidifier in the room) ❤️Surprise 3. The room was very large, about 50 square meters, with a height of about 3 meters, a dry and wet separated bathroom + toilet, and it was very clean. It also had a large balcony, which faced the ski resort, with beautiful scenery! When I fell asleep at night, the hotel corridor was very quiet. ❤️Surprise 4. I went to have breakfast at 8:30 the next morning. The breakfast was very rich. I could enjoy the snow scenery outside while eating breakfast (haha, it snowed heavily that morning) ❤️Surprise 5. My son likes skiing very much and brought all kinds of equipment with him. After breakfast, he was facing the ski hall of Cuiyun Mountain Ski Resort. He walked out of the hall and went directly into the ski resort. It was convenient. There were ski equipment rentals in the hall, snack bars, KFC, Lanzhou ramen, etc. ❤️There is a gym on the tenth floor of the hotel. My son told me that you can enjoy the view while exercising. ❤️There are Chinese food + buffet on the first floor of the hotel, with various discount packages. You can choose according to your budget. ❤️The hotel is about 3 kilometers away from the commercial and dining street, and it takes 6-7 minutes to drive. There are wide roads, various shops for renting school supplies in the commercial street, and various barbecue and hot pot delicacies. There are also many ski resorts nearby, all of which are very close, but it is best to drive by yourself. ❤️A hotel that is highly recommended for staying. Choose this time period to ski. The price is affordable, there are not many people, and it is quiet. Good reviews!

It was our first time to come to Zhangjiakou, because this hotel made us like Zhangjiakou instantly. The hotel's service, sanitary conditions and hardware facilities are all first-class. The evening buffet and breakfast are very good. The price/performance ratio is too high. I will stay here again in the future!

We just loved our 3-night stay at the Thaiwoo Hotel! The location was fantastic, especially for skiing families like ours. It’s just steps from the ski resort entrance, so no stressing about long walks or shuttles. Honestly, it couldn’t be more convenient! There were plenty of food places around for easy dinners after a long day on the slopes, and the hotel’s breakfast was Chinese-style and absolutely satisfying. It gave us all the energy we needed for the day ahead – just perfect for both kids and adults! The service was another highlight. Everyone was so kind and accommodating, and traveling moms know how much little things like that matter. Plus, the hotel even offers a convenient transfer to the train stations, which made our trip so much easier. No headaches or complicated logistics – just smooth sailing! We had such a wonderful time and will absolutely be coming back. If you’re planning a family ski trip, I can’t recommend the Thaiwoo Hotel enough. It checked all the boxes for us, and we can’t wait to return!
