Zhangjiajie Wulingyuan District 5-star Hotels

Great location, about 1km from the east gate of Wulingyuan scenic area. Many restaurants just steps away. There’s a theatre next to the hotel, was able to book a performance, definitely worth it. Hotel has beautiful pool area, unfortunately too cold to use, would be amazing in the summer. Breakfast was plentiful, standard western and Chinese choices. The furniture and decor is kind of traditional and old style, but well maintained. The only negative is that there are carpets in the rooms, inevitably with small stains, overall, I would recommend the hotel, best in this area.

This was the best stay that I’ve had in China. It is an absolute beautiful place with an amazing view. The infinity pool is so nice, you have a amazing backdrop view and can see so many stars at night; we even had it to ourselves most of the time. The service here is top tier, they will even drive you on a golf cart to save you walking 3-4 minutes if you like haha. Our room/cabin was very nice, great bed, and a luxurious bathtub on the balcony. The fridge was even full of beer and soft drinks to have. This place is most definitely worth the money spent! If I’m in Zhangjiajie again, I will be coming back!

The location of the hotel is very good because it is near the entrance of the National Forest Park, near many restaurants and shops, near the bus stop for you to ride bus if you want to explore within the Wulingyuan area. The service is very good because the hotel staffs are very accomodating and responsive. The buffet breakfast is very good because all the foods are tasty and healthy, the restaurant has a nice ambience and nice staffs. The cleanliness of the hotel is very good because it was kept everyday. The amenities are very good because even if the hotel is big, they have many elevators that you can use that will take you to the outside level without passing or using the main elevator at the reception area inside. The room has all the things you need during the stay, with free bottles of water everyday. It is a plus having so many power outlets, an automatic curtain, an aircon that you can adjust yourself, big desk, lights with many lighting options, automatic toilet light sensor, and nice colorful street view specially at night.

The first time I came to Zhangjiajie, I stayed at this legendary Hunan B&B with ceilings. The overall feeling is very good! + The hotel design perfectly combines rural beauty with modern luxury. + Butler service is very friendly and considerate. Thanks to Xiaokai Butler and the service team! + The breakfast and dinner in the restaurant were delicious. + Convenient to go to Forest Park. Close to Zi Mugang Gate. Moreover, there are relatively few people at Zimugang Gate. - Zimugangmen is a relatively unpopular entrance. This also causes traffic in the park to be diverted to other gates, resulting in sometimes long waits for buses... - The place is relatively remote, so it may not be very convenient to go to other attractions and shops. When we stayed here, we mainly focused on Forest Park and generally had no other needs, so there was no problem. - Although the stone pavement and dim lighting are very stylish, it is relatively inconvenient to walk. It was troublesome to carefully look at the road and the boxes (the housekeeper helped, thank you for the hard work of the housekeeper). P.S. 1. Because it was our first time to visit Zhangjiajie, we mainly visited the Forest Park and did not have much time to enjoy various activities in the hotel, such as making tea, sweet potato tasting, etc. It will be a good experience if you have the chance. 2. I didn’t try the swimming pool because it was cold. 3. Because of the cold and off-season, I was unable to experience some activities, such as the Time Concert.

Ticks all the boxes of an elegant resort hotel. Enough staff who understand English for communication at any time to not be a pain. Services were excellent. A special shout out to Ms. Pan for going out of her way to help us with our train ticket problem. Our room was spacious and luxurious; bed, linen, toiletries were premium quality. Breakfast had everybody covered. The hotel, next door up from the busier Pullman hotel is in the most scenic area of Wulingyan. There is a night market and an enclave of restaurants nearby yet oddly the area remains calm and very walkable. The hotel is about 7 to 10 rmb ( less than $2) from most places in town an 40 rmb from the fast train station. We did not use anybody's travel services as it was not difficult to get around. Locals call this hotel ”nabally;” neodalle” will get you a blank stare. Show them the hotel's business card and you'll be fine. All in all I'd choose to stay here again and would gladly recommend this hotel to family and friends. It is well worth a 40% premium over Pullman.

Attentive service and high cost performance. Since we are a family of four living together, we needed an extra quilt and two sets of toiletries, which were quickly met. The location of the hotel is very good, only two kilometers away from the Wujiayu Sign Gate. You can see the beautiful scenery of Wulingyuan from the hotel. The only drawback is that there is no heater in the bathroom, so it is quite cold to take a shower in winter. In addition, children above 1.2 meters need to pay 30 yuan for breakfast, which will affect the experience. But the faults do not hide the advantages, overall it is quite good.

This is a truly exceptional hotel. Don’t let the English translation “Homestay” fool you. This is rather a boutique hotel with very high standard of customer service and room finishes. The owner - Chen Liu - was among the kindest hoteliers I’ve experienced over the past 6 years in China. He and his staff pay great attention to guests’ experience and are eager to help with every aspect of the stay. Ahead of our arrival they helped to arrange tickets to the Park and offered complimentary pick-up from the train station. The very spacious room (we were upgraded free of charge) had an amazing view both from the bedroom and living room areas. The hotel has a very good selection of drinks, great chef and tasty coffee. Overall a perfect setup for a holiday in Zhangjiajie. What I would also highlight is the proximity to the park entrance. Within a 3 minute walk you are at the park entrance. Very convenient!

Location was just perfect, directly opposite the TianMen Mountain Cable car. Room was so comfortable. The breakfast was great (especially eating so many days of Chinese food), there was many variety to choose from. The staffs at the restaurant there were friendly. Kudos to Chef Hu. There was another two aunty staffs (which I have forgotten their name, but should be from housekeeping) that were of great help, the laundry dryer was so packed till everyone was queueing to use them. They took out extra dryers from the storeroom for our use. Really appreciate their help . 👍👍👍

We loved our stay at Manyuan resort hotel. The lady at the reception was very helpful. Her name was Yuanyuan. She planned the itinerary for our entire holiday and even helped us in buying discounted tickets. She even helped coordinate with a bakery to deliver a great birthday cake for my mother’s birthday. Her customer service really impressed us and further enhanced the quality of our stay. The rooms at the hotel are very modern and spacious. We stayed in a family room which had lots of toys for our young child. There was a trampoline and slide in the room too which made our son very happy. The location of the hotel is central and just a 10 minute walk to Wulingyuan scenic area and a 7-8 minute walk to all the restaurants and shops. Overall, I rate this hotel five stars.

If you are planning to visit Zhangjiajie, this hotel is a perfect place to stay. It is an amazing experience in Zhangjiajie. The hotel location make it perfect spot for those who wanna go around all the sightseeing in Zhangjiajie.The host is a fantastic guy, kind and helpful, and as extra bonus, he speaks English. He helped us to arrange for our daily tours and has great knowledge about the area, forest, and sightseeing. The hotel was very neat and clean with fantastic avatars mountain view. The breakfast was also nice and covered variety of Asian and western tastes. Furthermore, we driven there with our EV, and the fast charging station is opposite to this place. Moreover, as we travel with our two dogs, we chose a pet friendly hotel and it worked. it’s a great pet friendly hotel for those who travel with their fair babies. In the second day of our stay the host surprised me with the cake 🎂 for my birthday which proof how friendly he is and care about guests happiness and comfort. 张家界森林公园的景观令人震惊，同时，酒店的工作人员服务很好，他们记得我的生日并为我准备了一份蛋糕，很感谢，我们能够在房间里看到森林公园，景色很美丽
