Hotels in Zhangjiajie National Forest Park/Wulingyuan, Zhangjiajie

Nice rooms, good location and lovely staff. They helped me plan my trips and got me my tickets easily. Not all the staff speaks English but communication still works great with translator and so on. Breakfast is Only chinese but I don't mind that. Only downside was that the shower temperature randomly changed between warm and cold sometimes. Besides that everything was great would recommend ☺️

I love the hotel location which is at a quiet neighbourhood, 10 mins walk to the main food street and 15 mins leisure walk to the east gate of forest park. The receptionist was helpful to book the attraction tickets at discounted price and provided all the necessary information. I had an upgraded room which was spacious, modern, clean and comfortable with balcony overlooking the stream. Breakfast was above average, enough to keep us filling. Highly recommended.

We stayed for 2 nights and our room was upgraded. It is very pleasant to stay there. They always greet us warmly. We booked our ticket to national forest with lower price and help us for itinerary inside the forest. The itinerary was perfect. We enjoy very much. Without the itinerary, of course we will lost. We also booked ticket for romance show from the hotel. In the lobby, they have snacks and hot tea. Mineral water also provided full.

Very good service in give National Forest guide direction For people who first time coming to Zhangjiajie like us, this hotel has very good service. They provide some staff that assist tourists to get a guide direction in Zhangjiajie National Forest route. This national forest park is very huge. The entrance ticket is available for 4 days visit. So you can imagine how big this area is. Therefore, if you do not have enough time, you need a brief information that helps us arrange the excellent routes so that we can get the point of view and enjoy it. That is the purpose of this staff, to help us, bravo! Thanks to Huan Huan, female staff, your instruction is awesome. The hotel room is spacious enough, but lacks of wardrobe. Breakfast is amazing with many varian cuisine. There is a free laundry service that is very helpful for long tourists like us. The kind thing is this hotel put drinking water (bottles) everywhere. It is very pleasant, so hotel guests do not worry about drinking anymore. One more satisfying thing is the drain shower. The water pressure is strong but soft. Getting our body washed with a treatment like this after a tiring journey is very enjoyable.

Excellent stay at Eryatou Inn! The location is very convenient — a quick walk to the west entrance of Zhangjiajie park and right next to a night market where lots of stalls are selling food (our favorite was a steak stall that served steak, pasta, egg, and a drink for 19.9rmb right in front towards the left facing away from the inn). The hosts were so kind and helpful, helping us plan our days at the park depending on weather, and inviting us to eat sweet potatoes and drink tea in the afternoon/evenings with other guests. They also helped us book our park ticket package and the theatre performance at a discount. The rooms were spacious and clean, the beds were very comfortable, and shower was hot and had good pressure. Excellent value for the stay, we would stay again if we are ever in the area again!

The place is clean and spacious, well-equipped, with a large, comfortable bed, good linens, and nice pillows. However, the main downside was the lack of communication. The host didn’t greet us, and we didn’t receive any basic information about our stay, not even the breakfast time. We had to ask about everything ourselves, including transfer information. Throughout our stay, we felt totally confused. This isn’t our first time traveling in China, and even though we don’t speak Chinese and many hosts don’t speak English, communication has never been a problem before. Everyone except this host was very proactive. So, we were a bit disappointed because the homestay itself was actually quite nice.

Hotel is nice, clean and room is comfortable. Room is big! Beside each bed has electrical power point and light switch! Me and my friends enjoyed ourselves so much. Photos are the same as real -life. Staffs are friendly and approachable. They are also very attentive to us! Breakfast is nice too! They helped to receive my Taobao goods 🤭 They provided fruits and snacks! Hotel is about 10 - 15 mins walk to 武陵源and魅力湘西. Nearby hotel has quite a number of food places, no need worry. There is also a laundry place. Even though the room is at level 2 facing the road, it is not noisy at all. Will definitely recommend anyone for this hotel.

The service was amazing. The owners were so kind seeing that we had a young child with us. Breakfast was noodles and each time the amount was huge. Even gave us an extra small bowl for our daughter - one day they even gave her a banana and another day they gave her yogurt 🥰 The bed was very comfy and we slept like babies. The only part that needs improvement is the washroom. There was some mold probably because the shower door doesn’t close. There were massive gaps between the shower door and the glass wall and water just sprayed everywhere. Also the shower hand held handle was hot and cold so don’t use that one. The rain shower head was fine. We never got our hand drawn map despite me asking for one but they did help us buy tickets. Not sure if it was actually cheaper or not but it was convenient for them to help us. Bottled water, toothbrush, and a shower cap was provided. They changed our towels and threw out our garbage every day when we went out. Wonderful stay overall!

The highlight is the female staff, the only one who manned the counter. She was very helpful as she provided routes and advices for my visit to Wulingyuan and tips for other parts of China that i was visiting. Room was very clean but very small. Cosy for 2 nights stay. Hot water was good. Shower was strong. Surrounding was the food street, Mixue, Starbucks and KFC (international necessities) and about 200m away is Wulingyuan entrance. I will come back here to stay again.

Service: We had an absolute great stay! The three bosses were all very friendly, they were very attentive and helped to carry our luggage upon arrival even though it was close to 12am. They also helped us when we were leaving. They explained in detail and gave suggestions on the attraction route based on the time preference we have. On top of that, we enquired food and where to get gifts, the bosses were all super helpful in giving recommendations and even bringing us there. They also helped us booked Grand Canyon attraction tickets at cheaper rate! Room: Very spacious and clean. Very comfortable stay. They also have washing machine and dryer here! Location: Super good and convenient. Walking distance to charming xiangsi and also short distance to east gate of the Zhang Jia Jie National Park. I’m pretty picky when it comes to hotel but I’m very satisfied with my stay, not bribed, truly a VERY “HAPPY STAY”. Xie Xie, may your business prosper!!!! 😁😁😁😁😁
