Very modern hotel only 1.5 miles from the cable car.
Everything was positive about my stay at the Thousand Hotel from accommodation, facilities, location to
the friendly staff.

Big and very clean room with complimentary water bottles, friendly and helpful staff, a lot of restaurants, supermarkets around the hotel, good diverse breakfast.

It was a bit confusing because when we booked this hotel on Trip.com, it's listed as Tianmen Hotel. However, when we reached the hotel, we discovered it's called Thousand Hotel.
The rooms were clean and comfortable with air-conditioning working well and shower flow strong.
They do offer pickup or drop off (choose 1 only) to the High Speed Rail station.
Location wise, you still need to walk about 500m to reach Tianmen Mountain ticket counter.
Overall, it's still a nice hotel to stay in.

Our stay at this hotel was amazing! Staff were very kind and helpful. We felt very comfortable and enjoyed our time here!

The hotel is located away from the busy city centre in a quiet residential area. But this should not matter to tourists, since the main attractions are outside the city anyway.
The rooms have been renovated recently, although the carpet in the corridor is showing its age. Housekeeping do a good job tidying up the room every day.
The hotel uses WeChat to confirm the pick up from the airport, which is a nice touch.
All in, a pleasant stay.

Very nice hotel.
The staff is kind and helpful. They have an in-house agency to book various attractions in Zhangjiajie — I recommend checking with them first rather than booking on TRIP.
Breakfast is mostly local, but there are also some Western options. Overall, very good.
The room was spacious, quiet, and clean.
The only downside was the mattress — very hard and uncomfortable.
