Perfect location and comfortable.
The hotel is a cute little place which, from outside looks very small but inside - the rooms are great and spacious. I had a little hiccup when I arrived and I had to do a covid test (the local government changed the rules last minute… no surprises there) so I had to stay in a different hotel and get a test downtown.
The hotel manager let me upgrade my room for free because of the inconvenience which I thought was nice, she was also extremely helpful with planning sightseeing and was always answering my questions on WeChat! As a foreigner this is vital for a good trip I think!
The hotel is situated on a small street which has plenty to offer, only a 10min walk away is the East entrance to the National Park which was the main reason why I was there. What a fantastic experience!
There are plenty of local eateries and shops nearby and if you walk a little further there are bigger chain restaurants and stores. I even found a good gym.
Taxis are 6 RMB base rate everywhere around the area which is ideal!
If you want to travel to Tianmen Mountain - then there is a bus station which is a 2min walk from the hotel and you can get there for 13 RMB and it will take 1 hour.
Would definitely recommend this hotel to friends!

The room is very clean. It is quite close to Wulingyuan Bus Station and the sign gate. It is also very convenient to eat around. The boss is also very enthusiastic about planning the route. There are very few people going to the mountain route early. The experience of Zhangjiajie during the May 1st period is still good. Booked a room on Ctrip. Housing prices near Wulingyuan are very high this season. The water output from the shower faucet is really small. There is a cyan floor tile in the bathroom that was moved from somewhere. The sanitary conditions are acceptable if they are acceptable.
