If I could give six stars, I would! Never saw a host like this. She upgraded my room with no charge, took me by hand to the pharmacy and to show me where I should go in the next day for the free shuttle bus to Tianmen Mountain, bought my ticket (I didn’t know it wouldn’t be possible to purchase on site), even gave me an extra water to bring on my tour today. Oh, and found and negotiated a taxi for me to go see the 72 floors building. Not only this, she kept contact with me all day to make sure I was fine. And the room is beautiful, clean, comfortable, good shower, good lighting, has water, boiler, towels, slippers, amenities, everything you can possibly need. It also has a big nice city view. Seriously, there wasn’t a better place to book. I recommend with my eyes closed. Oh, to find it, go straight to the elevator, 12th floor.

The hostel owners are incredibly nice. They helped me with everything and planned my excursions together with me, as well as booking the tickets. The room was super spacious and bright (I got an update for free). Plus, the hostel is right next to the bus station, so you can get anywhere (unfortunately, the national park is a good 1.5 hours away by bus). The cableway to Tianmen Mountain takes you right in front of the hotel. I highly recommend it!

I had an absolutely gorgeous stay at Youth Homestay — truly unlike any other experience I’ve had in China. The host is wonderful and went above and beyond to help me with everything, from getting tickets to arranging taxis. The rooms are clean, the beds are super comfortable, and you have everything you need. Surrounded by beautiful nature, it’s the perfect place to relax and enjoy. 100% recommend — 5 out of 5!

I was worried about the bad accommodations, but this B&B slapped me in the face! The owner was like an old friend. He was busy from the moment we walked in, helping us plan our itinerary and recommending a lot of local specialties. The room was simple and cozy, with everything you need, and the price was more affordable than you could imagine. This trip to Zhangjiajie was made particularly memorable by this B&B, and I must recommend it to everyone!
