Hampton by Hilton, Zhangjiajie Tianmen Mountain

The service at the front desk was amazing. The attendant approved a late check out for us. She also provided us with information about Tiamen Mountain and surrounding area. The hotel was perfect and clean. The breakfast was wonderful and fresh. Large variety suitable for foreigners or chinese travelers. We stayed in room 1206. I would definitely stay here again. 10 out of 10!

The hotel is nice, not that impressive, the staff was not that helpful… the room was the best they had to offer although it was a bit old, the AC kept doing noise and there was a constant water drop sound in the room…

I recently stayed at the Hampton by Hilton Zhangjiajie Downtown, and it exceeded all expectations! Unbeatable Location - Directly opposite the Tianmen Mountain Cable Car (Line A) – You can literally see the cable cars from the hotel! No need for taxis; just walk 2 minutes to reach the station. - Surrounded by shops, restaurants, and convenience stores – Need snacks, souvenirs, or last-minute supplies? Everything is right outside. - Travel agency next door*– Super handy for booking tours to Zhangjiajie National Forest Park, Grand Canyon, or other attractions. - The complimentary breakfast was fantastic—a mix of Western and Chinese options including fresh fruits, eggs, noodles, and great coffee. Perfect fuel before a day of hiking! - The front desk team was incredibly helpful, offering maps, tour advice, and even helping with luggage. - English-speaking staff made everything smooth for international travelers. - On-site laundry – A lifesaver after long hikes in the national parks! - Fast, reliable Wi-Fi– Great for planning trips or streaming. 5 star lobby with tea and lemon water 24/7. - Comfy, clean rooms – Modern, spacious, and quiet despite the central location. And most importantly plenty of free water :) Easy Transport Links - 5-minute walk to the bus station (for routes to Wulingyuan and the Glass Bridge). - Taxi stand right outside—affordable rides to the airport/train station. Massage shop also available 2 minutes walking distance and these are needed after walking 15,000 to 20,000 steps each day. I loved the farmers selling fresh fruits around the hotel. If you’re visiting Zhangjiajie, this is THE hotel to book. The location alone saves you time and stress, but the stellar service, amenities, and food make it unbeatable. I’ll definitely stay here again!
