Zhangjiajie Manju Inn

Location of the hotel was very good for our visit. 5-10 minute walk from the train station. The room was a good size for 2 people. But the bathroom was very small, you almost sit on the toilet when showering. The room smelled like smoke, using the air conditioner made it worse. There was an ash tray in the room, they promised us there was no smell and nobody had smoked in the room. Because of the smell we moved the beds as close to the windows as possible and slept with the windows open. They also arranged a taxi to our new hotel in Wulingyuan, price was very good. But at the time of departure suddenly the price increased. We managed to keep the original price. But instead of a 25 minute trip we spend 1h30 in the car. They had to pick someone else up in the opposite direction of where we were going. The bus is only 12 Yuan drives every 5 minutes and is super close. So you are warned.

It is right opposite the Zhangjiajie West train station, so it was in the perfect location for me. The self check-in was easy and well explained. The room was clean and comfortable, but a little small if you'd be staying longer than one night. Shower gel and shampoo are provided, it would be great if some hand soap was provided as well.

Nice hotel, nice boss… He even pick us up at the street and also send us to the train station althought is just a walking distant. Is a new place!!!! You can a nice walk to the 72 Qilou (around 45min town walk)

We stayed for only one night before going to the park (we booked a hotel inside the park). The room was very clean and nice. The staff did not speak English but was very helpful. We had contact via WeChat which worked perfectly. We were allowed to store our luggage for 3 days without extra costs, which was very nice. The location is close to the train station (West) which was convenient for us. There are some restaurants close by, but it is not a very interesting part of the city. You can take bus to the center of Zhangjiajie.

We liked how close to the station the hotel was - very convenient for our early train. It was a little confusing to find the hotel which is not well marked within the building and we were not given instructions on how to enter the complex. We were a short didi from the main town which was convenient and we made the most of this. Unfortunately, upon arrival, the receptionists were too preoccupied with playing video games on their phone and doing facemasks to check us in. We were also very disappointed with the noise levels at around 11pm with door slamming and shouting which proceeded for 20 minutes. We would understand if this was other guests. However, we were pretty sure we were the only guests this night. Looking at other reviews, this seems unusual for the property but definitely impacted out stay.

the hotel staff is very cooperative and polite. he both picked us up from the railway station and dropped us too. the location is around 500m from zhangjiajie west railway station, very convenient. also, most of the scenic spots are within short distance from here. there's a bus station 200m away and makes it very easy to commute around the city. the room was completely clean and my experience was very good..totally recommend to anyone traveling to zhangjiajie to stay here.
