Zhangjiajie Yexi Riverside Holiday Camp

I had a wonderful stay! The location is very convenient—just a few minutes away from the west entrance of Zhangjiajie National Park. The host was incredibly kind and helpful, even offering to drive us to the park entrance and picking us up in the evening without us even asking. He also gave us great tips for exploring the park. The area is peaceful and quiet, perfect for relaxing. Sitting on the terrace in the morning surrounded by nature was such a beautiful experience. The food was delicious. I highly recommend this place to anyone looking for tranquility, warm hospitality, and easy access to the park!

We’re a family of 4 from Australia. We picked this hotel because it was something truly special. The rooms are as described in the pictures. The owner Jack is an absolute gem! He typified traditional Chinese village hospitality, warm, friendly and nothing too difficult. My son had an asthma flareup and he took me to purchase medication in town. On our first night, there was a traditional wake ceremony with firecrackers and flares! It disturbed our sleep but the kids found it very interesting. He then upgraded to another lodge nearby which was also amazing. The view from the hotel was magical. It’s also a great base to visit the national park. He also drove us to the west gate of the national park and provided us with an itinerary. There was zero waiting because it was against the flow of usual traffic. We covered everything in 7 hrs, even with a bit of rain in the morning. It helped a little that I could communicate in Chinese, but with a translator app, it should be no problem. If you want a ln authentic Chinese Village environment as a base for your Zhangjiajie trip, this is it!

Jack showed us how to treat your guest like a family. His kindness and curtesy are so generous that we extend our stay 1 more day so we can have more good time here.. Jake was an awesome host. He made sure everything was so accessible and smooth. The villas are equipped with everything you could possibly need. You'll be treated like royalty. The people are awesome. We'd love to stay in this hotel for every single trip to Zhangjiajie. The swimming pool was huge and so clean. This place is like heaven. We still can’t forget our stay in here. Big shout-out to Jake and his awesome team. You guys deserve 10 stars. I wish I could add 10 stars. Thank you.
