Balneario de Cestona

這次在西班牙旅遊比較隨意去到哪裡玩，就訂哪裡的酒店，無耐當時遊玩得有點晚，附近酒店都訂得滿滿的，看到這家有點歷史感像恐怖片裏的古宅大樓，也來試試。地板才起來咯吱咯吱響，前台其實服務挺好的，到的時候晚上快九點，我家先生已經餓得有點難受，立馬先帶我們去了餐廳吃飯，再出去辦理入住登記手續。房間挺大的，很復古懷舊，開窗景色挺美的，偶爾住一下廳特別的。

A super poorly maintained place, very deteriorated and the facilities are terrible in general. We were not locked in the elevator for more than 20 minutes and except for our friends who were there, they were in no hurry to get us out. The staff is very unfriendly and unprofessional. I will not go again in my life

Recently arrived after a 10-day stay at the Cestona spa, in a beautiful enclave, but the spa is frankly bad due to lack of maintenance. They gave us room 118, when we entered we noticed a terrible musty smell and we realized that there was mold on one of the walls, terribly harmful if you breathe it, we asked to change the room, or we would leave, even if we asked for the complaint forms. They moved us to another room, at least it didn't smell musty, but the furniture is outdated, the mattress is simple, the only saving grace is that they change the sheets and towels often. The sad treatments, from what I have read from previous comments, have been reduced to 10 minutes in a sauna, a jacuzzi and a pool with jets that did not work for the last three days due to lack of hot water, the food in line with the spa A pity because the place is beautiful and you can do many walks in the surroundings.

Although it is in an unbeatable environment, both the building and the facilities are in terrible condition. Not only due to the neglect in the arrangements of rooms, bathrooms, dining rooms, hallways, but also due to the dirt accumulated over time on windows, hallways and stairs. The spa elevator is like a coffin, horrible. The thermal facilities were very neglected, the aquarium pool with grease on the edge the 8 days we were here. And the indoor pool has apparently been closed for two years. The gym is conspicuous by its absence. The cleaning, reception and dining room staff are pleasant, doing what they can with the means they have. The scare doctor, from a scary movie. The director goes through everything. The food acceptable. The visits to the entire surrounding area have saved our stay, which is wonderful.

The best is the staff (except the doctor, expendable) and the environment with the Flysch included. The worst is the general maintenance (leaks, floors in poor condition, etc.) and the lack of staff, especially cleaning. In the 10 days we stayed the dining room floor was not cleaned once! The products to eat were cheap (logical for the price) but many of them were poorly cooked. The paella? with tasteless rice of the "bright" type it was dry rice with cheap tasteless stuff on it. It is unfeasible for so many people! The spoon dishes were very good, the meats were generally very chewy and the frozen fish had little flavor and were mostly dry when chewed. They were plentiful. The "fried" potatoes were rolled into a ball. I don't know why they put them on for so many people! They never look good because they are not freshly made! It would have been a better side with mashed potatoes. Battle wine, not recommended. It does not have a swimming pool or a gym as they say in the adverti*****t because they are closed. The WIFI is not in good condition. The wooden floor was sad with sunken areas and the modern parquet in the room was placed on top of the old one (the little step gave it away) and in a very unfortunate way. The windows in the rooms could not be opened for three reasons: the unbearable smell of the exterior paint of the old wooden blinds, the noise of the cars and the lack of mosquito nets. To watch TV, other harder pillows were needed to sit comfortably. From the chair or the edge of the bed it was unfeasible due to its proximity: there was too much outside corridor and there was not enough space in the rooms. The shower tube was broken and when the bedside light broke, I asked for it to be repaired (everything) and they did it in a few hours. The beds were wide and comfortable even though they left the room very small. Their cleanliness was commensurate with the lack of staff: fast and the bare minimum. (Under the bed and to the bottom sometimes, ha, ha, ha) Some excursion scheduled with the spa guide was done with the regular bus. I did not expect to see the guide counting in Basque all the staff at the stop as if it were a school. He even told us outsiders, ha, ha, ha. We almost filled the bus. How it swings around the curves! We did the excursions on our own. Eye! The information offices close on Mondays. If you get the transport card (shared) in the authorized stores, it will be much cheaper. it compensates you. I loved the Zumaia Flysch (Zumaya), both by boat (with a guide) and walking along the ledge of the cliff. The best of the trip. I also liked the one in the horse cave (reproduction) with a guide in a pleasant environment near Zestoa (Cestona) and after a walk along the river from the spa. Beautiful poorly managed building. Accumulated dirt in all corners. Very poor maintenance that causes the building, its facilities and furniture to be very deteriorated. The food is very poor, with the same poor quality cold cuts every day, and menus with small quantities and low quality products, especially fish, always frozen and poorly cooked. A shame, because the surroundings are beautiful and the building was very nice but they are letting it languish
