Hotels near Wolli park for beginners Sunnegga in Zermatt

I was very happy with interlaken youth hostel and decided to book zermatt youth hostel. Free Good Breakfast, although a toaster would have been nice but they have good coffee machine and good collections of tea bags. Clean property and good view of Matterhorn from dining area! The property did not mention that the bus do not go anymore to 'luchre' stoppage. The property is quite high up in the mountain. The bus left me a place way below to the stoppage. so it was very hard to take luggage up to the property. Also, the distance between Luchre bus stop and the property is also bit long. considering the steepness. Second thing, the property does not have lift! It was really really hard to go up to 3rd floor with luggage. For me, a kind romanian staff helped me to take the suitcase to the 3rd floor. I also find the room (most probably 138 or 134) that I had been given at the very last corner of the corridor, which is fine. but opposite to that room, there is another property whose bedroom or lounge room facing my room, The room does not have curtain. it was very uncomfortable. Interlaken youth hostel has the curtain. not all the room needs curtain, but some room facing other properties, I strongly recommend this small addition. when I mentioned that to the lady, she said, go to a hotel, this is hostel. I replied, Interlaken has curtain. she did not reply. while leaving, the lady staff was very rude and said no one can help you to get the suitcase down. One gentleman was kind and helped me. This property is good. unfortunately, it is not possible perhaps to add lift or change location. but they can add curtain for sure.

Great hotel Don’t expect luxury but given the price point you know this already The rooms are small but functional with everything you need for your stay including a great coffee machine that’s topped up daily. Breakfast is well beyond what I was expecting and had cereals, meats, yoghurts, breads, cheeses, sausages, eggs and probably much more! Plus more really good coffee! Located 5 minutes walk to Bayard ski rental, and an additional 1 minute to the Gornergrat railway taking you up onto the slopes From the hotel, you can be on the train in under 10 minutes. Staff are really helpful and allowed us to keep our bags there on the last day even though we’d checked out. There’s a quick lift to all floors. I would highly recommend the hotel if your plans are to ski all day, go out on an evening and use it as a place to sleep. Would certainly return

The hotel has some traces of history. It is a traditional mountain cabin hotel, very authentic. The location is a bit far from Zermatt train station, but very close to the cable car station, making it very convenient to go to Glacier Paradise. The room is very spacious and comfortable. Although the facilities are relatively old, they have everything you need. It's a very cozy hotel. Thanks to the staff for upgrading our room to a double terrace room! One of the terraces faces the Matterhorn! Another terrace offers views of the river. Sitting on the terrace in the evening, having a simple dinner, enjoying the mountain view and the sound of running water, it is very relaxing. and! When you wake up in the morning, you can see the golden sunrise over the Matterhorn! The breakfast here is also delicious! Love their croissants the most. Very satisfied with this stay ~

This is an ”average” hotel per Zermatt standards. This is not a pejorative statement. Just realistic considering the price of hotels in Zermatt. The location is perfect. Overall we had an excellent stay. Very friendly welcome, nice large room with a clean bathroom a bit small. However, we were supposed to have a mountain view on our reservation and we did not. Breakfast was a buffet style which offer could be improved. We had one dinner at the restaurant and it was good. The waitress Christina was very friendly. Beds were very comfortable. I would recommend this hotel for visitors who want to be well treated and not spend a fortune in 4 stars hotels.

Very cozy and clean, the staff checked our covid certificates and immediately accommodated us in our rooms. Breakfast was included in our price, we were asked what we wanted to have (croissant, bread, coffee order and ham/cheese) the previous day. I want to believe it was due to corona restrictions that they did not include these on the breakfast buffet, because one thin slice of bread was not sufficient; although we got a second serving when we asked. The rooms were warm, clean and all in all, a very decent option for the otherwise ”overpriced” Zermatt.

We stayed to Nights.The room we had was spacius (#212),nice bathroom with a bathtube/shower.Soap was provided aswell as towels,safe,tv. The staff was friendly and helpful. The breakfast buffet (7-10) had everything we needed,we liked that it had a coffeemachine fior self service.bread was good,croissants were sad(dry,no taste). Nice choice of fresh fruits,cheese,müsli,jam,ham etc. The price was totally ok. The beds were comfy,we pre- ordered second pillows,that was a good thing to do. Even though the hotel is close to the center,it was quiet and we hadgood nights of sleep. In the room there were some small details that can be re-done,for example a small drilling hole on the wall of the shower or some stains on the wardrobe.but nothing serious.

We would not stay here again. The 1980s revisited... Pros: Big room, great view mountains (not the Matterhorn), close to train station, huge balcony, parking beneath the hotel. Nice sized bathroom. Breakfast was satisfactory. A good starting point for a trip to Zermatt, if you're not going to stay in Zermatt. There are some great walking paths near this hotel. Cons: Ugly...brown...shag...carpeting. Orange furniture. Worn linens, mattresses and pillows. Traffic noise was a problem because we had to open the windows for ventilation during this warm spell. No ice was available for our room. No in-room refrigerator. Service staff was indifferent. If you are driving and going for a quick trip to Zermatt, I recommend parking your car in Tasch and leave your big luggage in the trunk. Take your carry-on and the train to Zermatt and stay for one (maybe two) nights there to see the sights. Then take the return train to Tasch to retrieve your car. I don't recommend staying in Tasch.

Very satisfied with a hotel, only: 1. Since it is in the middle of interlaken west and interlaken ost stations, you have to travel a long way to see the hotel first 2. The church is isolated, it will ring at night and in the morning, and the sound is recognized 🥺 3. There is no air-conditioning in the room, so it is a little bit hot. Lucky you have to open the window There are quite a lot of choices for breakfast, all the waiters can speak English, it feels much more friendly

This is a hotel next to Niglous station. Get off the bus it takes 3 minutes to get there. People here are really very friendly. As soon as we got off the train, there was a bus driver who took the initiative to stop and tell us the direction of the hotel. Since we went back very late, the self-check-in was not smooth. The bar uncle and the customers inside the hotel enthusiastically helped us find a way. Give us a lot of warmth. The windows of this room are very large and can be opened all of them. Extremely quiet and the perfect choice. The breakfast is also very good. This place is three stops from Zermatt and takes about half an hour by car. We will come again.

During 2 nights we stayed at the Hotel Ambassador. The hotel is centrally located - a few steps from the train station. Ideal ! Makes a good, maintained impression from outside. The room is very beautiful and consistently furnished. The mattresses are very comfortable and comfortable. Here everything has been fit. Breakfast buffet was rich. Something in this regard for every taste....The staff was aware and emigrant - but something overburdened with cleaning, discovering, filling up buffet and giving information. Fairly, you must say that people were also somewhat untolerant. The Wermut Tropps when checking in: nice reception - official language English ! No word German. I personally find this a tribute to people who may not understand and express themselves so well with the English language. Zermatt International goes or goes. In the many shops, restaurants and shops in the village, it is best working with German and/or dialect. I am Swiss and I want to understand myself as Swiss in Switzerland as well...
