The room was small but cosy, though the value didn’t match the price. It was uncomfortably hot despite our attempts to adjust the temperature, affecting our overall comfort. Breakfast was simple and could be improved. However, John was professional and provided excellent service, which was a highlight of our experience. While there were positives, the stay didn’t fully meet expectations.

The location is close to Zermatt Station, and there is no problem dragging two suitcases. The Matterhorn peak is slightly visible, hidden by trees, so it seems good for checking if it is the Golden Horn.

It was my first time in Switzerland and it was a very good experience. If you want to see the Matterhorn up close, see the stars at night, and ski, it is worth coming here. The dinner is quite regular and tastes very good. The breakfast is a buffet. Although it is below zero outside, the room is very warm. BTW, it is very dry, so you need to turn on the humidifier.

The check-in time must be before 16:00, because if it is later, there will be no cable car to the top of the mountain. The hotel is on the mountain, opposite the Golden Summit of the Matterhorn, which has great scenery. The hotel service is very good, providing dinner and breakfast.

The hotel is beautiful with stunning views. The rooms are clean and conveniently located near the train station, making travel easy. The staff are courteous, and the breakfast is delicious. I really enjoyed my stay and will definitely return.🥰💗

The hotel is located in the best location walkable from the Zermatt main station easy to find food and drinks, close to coop and the hotel have nice terrace in front that u can sit for people watching our room had nice view of matterhorn comfortable bed. With moon roof

The rooms are clean, but there is maintenance work outside. It is very noisy. The work starts before 8 o'clock in the morning, which is very noisy, which affects the rest. In addition, there was a male waiter wearing big earrings at breakfast who was unfriendly and might be discriminating against Chinese people!

It was relatively inexpensive compared to other accommodations in the city. I was very satisfied. The staff's service was warm, and the breakfast was great, with cheese tasting. The interior was also nice. The balcony of the guest room is shared with other rooms. Matterhorn is covered by trees, so you can't see it very well from the balcony. However, there is a nice view spot just a short walk from the hotel towards the mountain, which I liked. The sauna can be used from 4:00 p.m. In case of bad weather, it will be opened before 4:00 p.m. It is a place where you can do 90-degree self-loyly, and there is no cold bath, but towels are provided, one shower room, a rest area, a water dispenser, and a toilet in the area. There are no separate changing rooms or lockers for men and women. We each used the clothes rack in the room or the chairs in the rest area, leaving our belongings there. There didn't seem to be any particular rules about wearing swimsuits, and there were both men and women wearing swimsuits. The location is a little far from the main station (about 11 minutes), and if you go through Oberdorfstrasse as per Google Maps, there is a long cobblestone area on the way, so it is difficult to carry a suitcase. However, if you walk along the river (Bachstrasse), which may be a little longer, it is a flat road, so I think it will be a solution.

The hotel has a shuttle service to and from Zermatt Railway Station, which is very convenient. The driver is friendly and will give a brief introduction along the way. The hotel is clean and comfortable, and the breakfast is rich. The golden Matterhorn can already be seen on the terrace😃

I wish to express my dissatisfaction with my recent stay at Hotel Bistrols from Dec 16 to Dec 17. During my stay, I experienced an incident that left me quite unsettled. Around 20 mins after my check-in to the hotel, another group of tourists (think was a couple) was able to use hotel access card to access my room, we, both parties are shocked and super embarrassed. This situation raised significant concerns about the security protocols in place at the hotel. As a guest, I expect a certain level of safety. If the room was accidentally opened without my presence, I am not sure whether my belongings are going to disappear, this situation made me had just a light sleep throughout the whole stay. The lack of adequate security measures not only compromised my sense of safety but also made me question the overall management of the hotel. In an age where guest security is paramount, I believe that Hotel Bistrols should prioritize ensuring that all rooms are properly secured and that guests feel safe throughout their stay. A point to add is that the receptionist has poor attitude towards her service. The whole experience which I would not consider to give this hotel another try in future. I hope that the hotel will take my concerns seriously and address these issues for future guests.
